It's conveniently next to the pool and hot tub. Front desk was great, I was able to check in early. I used the shuttle twice for the airport and the driver Robert was friendly and professional. You do have to schedule it in advance with the front desk. The hotel is in a great walkable location next to the river and in the heart of downtown. It was about a 20 min. walk to the university.

The cops and I distinguished conversation and I was being accused of leaving the side door open & screaming in the halls. First, I'm an architect so I told the cops to follow me and take a look at the door, there is an automatic door closer on the door, however the door does not close all the way. There was also a man outside of the door prior making complaints that this door does not close and he had a fully loaded gun on him and Motel 6 did not say anything to him. On top of that if I was in fact screaming in the halls why didn't Motel 6 call the cops then? Instead when I responded excuse me, I'll call corporate. This Motel 6 is not worth your time or money $$$. The cops just took me to the next door motel and literally paid for my night stay there because Motel 6 refused to refund me. The next door motel told the cops they have so many issues at Motel 6 and their management is horrid. Completely agree. This Motel 6 needs to fire their current manager and resolve architectural and safety issues rather than pushing their own issues on their paying customers.
