This was the biggest Motel 6 I have ever stayed at! Rooms were clean and cavernous. Front desk folks were nice. They were kind enough to ensure we had a room on the first floor for my elderly parents. It's in a good location, with a lot of restaurants around. I think some of the previous reviews are a little unfair, but like my Hubby says, some people are just miserably needy. It was far more expensive that other Motel 6's, because it's Summer in paradise. read more

I have never paid so much for so little! $186 for a single night, one person in a large room but with Walmart furniture - table and 2 chairs that should be on a patio. Office unopened and unmanned until 0700, breakfast appeared to be an energy bar in the office area, room for 10? people. Motel 6 needs to review the franchise. read more

Very friendly staff! I felt very welcome and the rooms were nice and clean. It was a much better experience compared to other motels I've stayed in. Would highly recommend! read more

The guy working was nice and it was relatively clean. That's the only reason it gets two stars instead of one. The bed was AWFUL. It should be illegal to have a bed like this when you are paying $140 for a room. You could feel the springs in the bed and if squeaked when you moved. The pillows were lumpy. My back hurt in the morning. This was the cheapest place close to the airport I could find for the one night I needed it but I really wish I had just paid more money so I could get a better nights sleep. Don't recommend. read more

0 stars! This Motel 6 is literally the worst of the worst - not sure how anyone could possibly rate this place higher than 0! Really! Our room was disgusting - we can totally do bare bones and no frills. However, this room reeked of years upon years of urine and bad body odor that must have ingrained themselves into the wallpaper, the ceiling, the laminate floorboards, the bedsheets, and every little crevice. In addition, some plug-in potpourri was trying to mask the smell to absolutely no avail. Opening the window didn't do anything, as there was no wind, hence the no air flow - the AC unit was blowing foul odors, too. While the staff is friendly, their hands seemed to be tied in not being able to do anything. I couldn't believe that this place was almost full capacity, so our only options were to move into a smaller room with smaller beds or into a smoking room. UGH. It was an uncomfortable stay and I didn't sleep a wink due to the smell. Avoid at all costs! +smelly rooms! read more

STAY AWAY! They need new management. I have been staying there two to three nights a week. My last stay I received a phone call saying that I've received too many complaints and I'm no longer capable of staying at the motel. First time I've heard of this. I asked can I see the evidence and the manager responded no we don't show evidence. I responded, I'll call corporate to find out why I'm receiving these messages. I furthered with that and told management that I'm on the phone with corporate; her response was I'm calling the cops! The cops and I distinguished conversation and I was being accused of leaving the side door open & screaming in the halls. First, I'm an architect so I told the cops to follow me and take a look at the door, there is an automatic door closer on the door, however the door does not close all the way. There was also a man outside of the door prior making complaints that this door does not close and he had a fully loaded gun on him and Motel 6 did not say anything to him. On top of that if I was in fact screaming in the halls why didn't Motel 6 call the cops then? Instead when I responded excuse me, I'll call corporate. This Motel 6 is not worth your time or money $$$. The cops just took me to the next door motel and literally paid for my night stay there because Motel 6 refused to refund me. The next door motel told the cops they have so many issues at Motel 6 and their management is horrid. Completely agree. This Motel 6 needs to fire their current manager and resolve architectural and safety issues rather than pushing their own issues on their paying customers. read more

The rooms are cleaner than your average motel on I-90. It should be noted that there was a blood splatter on my wall. The hotel has absolutely no soundproofing. It sounds like my neighbor is in my room. Every toilet flush, cough, fart and door slam is heard with excruciating precision. read more

Great place to stay if you are traveling with pets. It is clean and service is friendly. Several services nearby and accessible to I-90. Check-in was quick and they are adhering to all Covid-19 protocols. The only complaint I have was we were next to a room that was for smokers and we were picking up the smell every now and then. Otherwise, we had a great stay! read more

I wrestled with my rating. Let me start by saying the place was clean. The room, bathroom, and facility are very clean. Looks like it might have been recently updated. That would be a 5. The front desk crew was young and did the job like they'd rather be anywhere but work. Then we got to the room. As I said, clean. It had 1 queen bed and so much other room we could have played tennis. I get it Motel 6 but not a single picture on the wall. And my wife and I both use C-pap's so we need electric outlets. None is available on one side of the bed. And we had only a one-night stand. Nowhere to sit anything. Bathroom the same way. Okay, we're here for a night no biggie. The front desk did send up a less than enthusiastic young man with a light bar. So that works if I sit my breathing machine on the luggage cart. That worked. Let's lay down and watch TV. As you can see from the picture, it's about a 32" max TV and it should come with binoculars because it is at least 15' away. It's one night. Okay, we'll work with that. Turn it on and can't hear it. Push volume and it is already at max volume. What? Call the crack front desk crew and find out they are preset that way from corporate. Seems they don't want people turning it up too loud. I traveled for work for 30 years and never had to report someone for their TV being too loud? We give up and get out our iPads to go on the Internet. Now they have Internet but it is a trip back in time because it is like dial-up. It's magical, there you have it, then you don't. We give up and go to sleep early. That is until the guy sleeping in the room next to me started snoring. Then I understood why they have a governor on the TV. The walls are thinner than the mattress. It was a fun night with the guy snoring by my head, the big dog barking down the hall, and the floor shaking when someone walks down the hall. And I failed to mention that they no longer give you shampoo and conditioner. That's right, it is down at the front desk. I assume, after the fact by the way, that the check-in folks are supposed to tell you so you don't have to walk down but hey, it's 2022 and it's Missoula, the Peoples Republic, maybe we expect too much? It has two chairs, and 70's retro widebodies. I tripped on the legs sticking out four times and my wife couldn't stop laughing. My Mom had some chairs like these and we may still have the little footrests that go with them. Did I say it was clean? And crisp. It should win the best Minimalist Design in Missoula's woke contest this year. I mean it was Spartan-like. But if you just want a night's sleep in a clean place, on this night it was the cheapest in Missoula at $163 a night. What a deal. Check out the pics below just for fun. And another thing ... they did leave the light on for us. read more

This place exceeded my expectations, all I needed was an affordable, pet-friendly motel. It blew it's comparable big-name competitor out of the water in terms of price and cleanliness. My room and the lobby was very clean and surprisingly stylish. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the company seems to be taking COVID precautions seriously. It's conveniently close to the freeway, but tucked away enough that I felt like my car was safely parked. My cat enjoyed the room, too :3 read more

I just dont know, but when I check into a Marriott, or a Holiday Inn or a Hyatt Place, theres always surprises, usually Nasty ones, and i paid a heavy price like $189 to $299 a night, and I get screwed. Theres no hot breakfast where they had it., or the bar is closed, they gym is closed, or the pool. RIP OFF. Restaraunt closed. no room service, the pool is closed. the staff sucks, but, but With Hotel 6 , you dont expect much but for $69, you get an awesome friendly staff. the no breakfast but theres usually theirs a bar, or Restaurant within walking distance, the room are clean, its quiet, the bed is comfy, theirs hot water, a big tv, stuff to charge my phone. so far ive been lucky no nightmares, no bugs. screw those other places while they shut down every thing and blame Covid. read more

Booked here for after the Brawl of the Wild. Just wanted a decent place I didn't have to drop bank on and get a good nights sleep. Front desk staff was super friendly, got me checked right in. Room is cute and super clean, no complaints over all. It's bare minimum no hair dryer, tissues, any real extras. The mattress is why it's only getting 3 stars, I fell asleep around 9, woke up at 1 miserable. There was NOTHING comfortable about the bed. It is obviously old or a very cheap new one. I may have been better off sleeping on the floor. Way more comfortable anyway. I was up from 1 until about 4. Got back to asleep until about 630. When I did physically get up I felt like someone had beat the pulp out of me, feet hurt, hips hurt, back hurts, super super sore. It was a miserable night. They could invest in decent mattresses. read more

Was nice place to Stay to catch a few ZZZZ for myself and my ESA. Clean and Quiet....

Very nice family owned business. The rooms are clean and spacious for a motel 6. Highly recommend.

Holy crap, they actually advertise wi-fi! Less than 6mbps! No breakfast, stuffy rooms, thin walls. I was so tired I just stopped at the first motel. Bad choice. read more

This motel is very clean. I had high hopes based on my initial impression. However, it seems as though this motel only has its cleanliness going for it. The Wi-Fi was abysmal, it's so slow and constantly goes in and out that I eventually just turned it off and used my own data service. Sleeping here for the night almost felt impossible between the cheapest most rickety spring bed frame that squeaks and creaks at the slightest hint of movement and the paper thin walls that allow you to stay perfectly awake all night to sounds of pipes all around you or even the crackhead in the hallways screaming "why the f#%* am I here?" (Yes this actually happened, maybe she was unhappy with her room as well). And if you receive the same room as us, you might hear some incessant knocking coming from some unknown place in the walls or ceiling. To top it all off we were only provided with two pillows. I know some people can sleep with only one pillow, but these were the most paper thin pillows and we only got 2 of them. I might as well have slept with a rug under my head for how thin these pillows were. Overall, it seemed as though all of the improvements to this motel were mainly cosmetic as their really was no quality or substance to any of them beyond just being clean. If you value cleanliness over being able to sleep, this is the place for you. 2 stars solely for the cleanliness and decent front desk friendliness. read more

After a 12 hour drive I was desperate to find a place to stay for the night that was reasonable, but more importantly accepted cats in their rooms. Saw this place from the highway, couldn't have been happier. Reasonable rates, close to the highway and accepted cats with no extra charge. The room was very clean and quiet. So, since my cat Rosie has no opposable thumbs and Apple has yet to address this in their accessibility options on the iPhone and Yelp requires users to be humanoid of some kind, I will leave a review on her behalf. "Meow." I'm guessing this means... "She enjoyed the room, the bed and floor were very comfortable, and she appreciates that Motel 6 does not discriminate against her race. Unlike those other places." To be honest however, after 16 years with her I still have no clue what she is saying, so my translation may be a little off. read more

Great look and feel but 0.3mps isn't internet. 4days to download 1gb. I might as well stay at the Starbucks across the street

I ordered this room through Orbitz and after using $3 in Orbucks and a promo code, my total for this room was $54. THAT made this room soooo worth it! The rooms seems to be pretty updated and the bathroom is pretty nice. It's a basic hotel with no breakfast and not very many amenities but for the price I paid, I was pleased. The front desk people were very pleasant. The room was clean. The bed was decently comfy for a cheaper hotel bed. Pillows soft. Free WiFi. I'd definitely stay here again for that price (and maybe as high as $65). read more

Not too much to like about this place other than it being pet friendly and the lady working the front desk at check-in was friendly. At the time of my stay (week of the 4th of July) the cost was 99 bucks a night. I understand that this might be a busier week, but 99 bucks a night for this hotel is way overpriced for what you get. If it were closer to downtown Missoula (the nice 'older' part of town) I might understand, but this Hotel sits right next to a freeway entrance. Here's what I got for my 99 bucks a night: * Extremely thin walls. You will hear everything going on in the room next to you (and in the hall). * The beds were not comfortable. * The 'towels' you get for your shower are kid sized towels and feel like sandpaper. * Doors slamming. Like the auto-closing hinges on the doors are wound up WAYYYY too tight. * Lack of extremely basic amenities in the room. You have to request things like an Iron or Shampoo from the front desk. The above are things I can deal with. What I can absolutely NOT stand is that there is no 'Do Not Disturb' sign to hang on your door. I told them we did not need turn down service. I was told they have a mandatory 'Wellness Check' that they do every day. I requested that they not come by for this 'Wellness Check' before noon and they still came by earlier (around 10am) regardless. So if you like to sleep in (or sleep well at all) I would avoid this location. read more

Motel 6, on Expo Pkwy in Missoula MT, really deserves all 5 stars. Concerts and events on the night we were there, so finding a room in the first place was challenging. From check-in to check-out, very pleasant! Nice staff. Clean room. Everything we needed. Only downside was some noisy kids running and stomping above us and some dogs barking in several rooms. But that was not enough to subtract a star. One of the nicest Motel 6 that we have stayed in! Well done staff, well done!! read more

For a hotel room under $60, this location is quite a deal. It was better than what I expected for a Motel 6 or any other one star hotel. The rooms have been recently updated with a Euro hostel or college studio dorm feel, but not in a bad way. The decor and furnishing remind me of Ikea. The beds were fortunately comfortable. A double queen bed room is the same price as a single queen, so you might as well request a double for extra pillows and sheets, if necessary. The rooms are basic with a TV (including an HDMI and sound plugs), a phone jack, free password-protected wi-fi, desk and a unique towel rack and a unique tub/shower combo. As long as you don't require a pool or breakfast, this is a great place to crash and get some zzz's. The staff was friendly. I followed the other reviewers recommendation to request a quiet room away from any children or the expressway. I didn't hear a peep all night long, with the exception of my other roommate's snoring... Even better, a Cracker Barrel and the Interstate 90 is right next door to take on another day of traveling. I'd stay here again while making another westward bound trip. read more

Clean rooms, friendly staff, comfortable beds, spacious showers, and nice amenities. Surprising quality at a reasonable cost.

Giving it 5 stars for the price. I usually don't expect a whole lot when paying less than $100/night but beds were comfortable from what I could tell (passed out and didn't wake for 12 hours after camping in Yellowstone for a week so I might be a bad judge on the comfort level), TV and hot water worked and the room was clean. Also the guy at the front desk was really helpful and kind. I'd make sure to stay again on my next trip out on the 90. read more

Great. Note to self. Always tell front desk not to allow children near your room. Walls thin. Had words with lady across the hall who let her litte brats slam doors and run. Walls thin. Once I went off all good. Starbucks nearby. super thin walls, but what do you expect? its a motel 6. the shower next door? sounded like my shower running. almost thought someone was in the room with us. I love motel six, but there are just little things that really upset me, and then I don't sleep. last night was one of them. read more

It gets 5 stars for the price. The lobby attendant (William, I think) was on top of everything, even calling up to the room to check that all was good and to see if I needed anything else. Room was clean, comfy, quiet. I was able to use the nearby trail along the creek for a much needed, leg-stretching run. Wifi was free, unlike some Motel 6s, and I was able to do work (including a conference call over the computer) at the desk. Everything you could ask for given the ~$50 price tag. Surprised by the other reviews. I wonder if they were before an upgrade. Either way, my particular experience was as good as I could expect given the price. read more

I will stay here again when passing through Missoula. Like another reviewer stated the floors were a weird bamboo aplique or something however...This was a very nice Motel 6. For $52 a night I don't expect much but this delivered what I expected. No phone or clock radio in the room, nobody needs those these days anyway. Noisy. I stayed at this hotel twice, once in October 2014 and then in March 2015. Staying the 2nd time was a big mistake. I'd driven 12 hours when I checked in and I told the front desk that I was looking to get some sleep (you think?) I was put on the 2nd floor in a room that had a common door with the adjacent room. The door was locked but I figured that it was meant to be part of those shared rooms that big families rent. For the 1st half-hour or so, I tried in vain to get some sleep. The whole hotel seemed to be determined to keep me awake. Someone slammed their door, multiple times, so loud that the whole floor literally shook. Someone was coughing and I could almost feel the phlegm in my throat. Someone flushed the toilet and I was relieved. There was a couple in the adjacent room, the one that my room shared a door with, that talked so loud I could hear every word clearly through the paper-thin walls. Finally I gave up and called the front desk requesting for a change of rooms. A person named Paul answered the phone and, quite unpleasantly, told me that he couldn't do anything from there and I'd have to go down to talk to him. When I dressed up and went down, Paul told me that the only rooms they had was on the smoking floor. When I declined to move there, he said he'd go up later and if he heard any noises, ask the offenders to keep it down. I came back to my room, plugged my ears and forced myself to sleep. I was awaken an 6:30 in the morning by someone flushing their toilet. Point is, if you want some R&R, look elsewhere. read more

Clean, updated rooms and lobby with friendly, efficient staff at evening checkin. It's been a while since I've stayed at a Motel 6 and I'd forgotten how basic they are. No coffee maker, blow dryer or alarm clock, no comfy chair to sit in, beds were fine but a bit hard. We had a nice two night stay but just think I've outgrown it. My teenage son and hIs friend in the adjoining room thought it was great. We thought it was a bit like a dorm room. Would recommend for a quick stop on a road trip. read more

Price is good and rooms are clean. Missing a lot of things you may find in other hotels (tissues, breakfast, hairdryer, iron, shampoo) but I suppose that's how they keep the price low. Fixtures aren't exactly top of the line but they're functional. Bed wasn't super comfortable and blankets could've been thicker too. Honestly it was a very clean place to lay my head down while on a trip and I'll take a clean bare room over nothing. Don't expect a ton of amenities--it really is near bare bones on those, but that price is low for a quiet clean place to sleep. read more

The hotel clerks were great both times I stayed here going back and forth from Yellowstone. Unfortunately a lot of negative points. First stay we got there at 11p.m. After Twelve hours of travel, no time to complain just try to sleep. Had two beds, one was dirty with some kind of black lint so we shared the other, didn't sleep well, room was hot, no time to mess with a.c. Bathroom was clean and coffee downstairs in morning was ok. Next stop started off better, both beds clean but t.v. Didn't work, oh well another long night after being awoken at 3 a.m. By someone arriving late next door slamming door and then they watch t.v. until 4 a.m.I agree with other reviews that noise is a problem here. I won't stay here again. read more
