Each time the appraiser was done with the inspection in 10 - 15 minutes with no questions asked. During his inspection Michael pointed out that his paperwork, public records, shows our house as 1,725 square feet with a 600 square foot garage. He informed us that since we have a two car garage with an additional bedroom instead of the third car garage the information appears to be incorrect. After taking all of his measurements and inputting the information in his computer, Michael confirmed that our house is 1,925 Sf with a 400 Sf garage. We are thinking about selling the house and without his appraisal knowledge we would have been listing our house at the reported 1,725 square feet for much less $ than it is actually worth.
