We worked with Tanya and her team and they were able to do a working escrow after closing. this…read moreworking escrow is unique because it could be completed after the closing date on an FHA loan. The work she did finding a lender that allows to close so that we could get into the home right away was nothing short of a miracle given that we were moving from WAY out of state with an offer letter for a job, but no pays stubs to prove that income. Basically moving on a promise/a wing and a prayer. This lender she found also offers renovation loans on conventional which allows the work to be completed after closing. This could be built into the loan or can be funded by the sellers. Drew Wierson was our real estate agent that got us in touch with Tanya after what seemed like dead end after dead end of speaking to brokers that basically said this move wasnt gonna happen with the resources we had. It was an absolute blessing to work with Tanya and Drew. You get more than just people in the real estate business with them, you get a solid support team through the rollercoaster ride it can be of purchasing a home. We dont plan on moving again but IF we do I will work with no one else other than Tanya and Drew.

For example, removing a soffit, moving electrical, making showers, wider and taller. Their professional recommendations made our spaces more functional. Every day our house was left clean and ready for the next workday. Best pricing we could find compared to other contractors in town. We are so happy with the results! Will use them again on future projects.

I met Johnny, owner of Ellis Custom Works, and asked him if he did such work and he said he did. I provided him with pictures of what I needed to have done and Johnny exceeded my expectations. He was very punctual getting the work done for me and he fixed it without having to put a whole new slider in. I would highly recommend Ellis Custom Works. He did an excellent job!

They showed up on time and prepared detailed estimates after asking great questions. They even shared ideas on how to save money on a yard update. Their communication was top notch. They shared before and after photos and did precisely what they said they would do. I absolutely recommend these people.

After ten minutes I was offered water again, they said the person that would help me was just finishing up. I understand, no problem. After 30 minutes I started to wonder if they even knew I was there. Long story short, after waiting for 50 minutes I decided to leave. They haven't even called me. Looks like it's time to find a new insurance company.

Advanced Cleaning and Restoration caused damage to my BRAND NEW, CUSTOM-BUILT cabinets (because…read moreapparently they do not know how to read a tape measure or operate a saw), they caused damage to my existing cabinets when installing the shelf over the fridge, the sink leaks because it was not sealed properly after reinstallation, there are multiple areas where the subfloor is exposed (because, again, they apparently do not know how to read a tape measure), they chipped my counter tops when removing the old cabinets, they failed to sheetrock, tape, texture, and paint the closet, nothing is level, our pipes froze after the first storm because they failed to insulate it properly, one of the brand new cabinets does not sit flush/level, and they tried to hide it with a damaged piece of poorly stained trim, they split the new, custom-stained trim around the windows and TRIED TO HIDE IT with wood putty, they roughly patched a hole in the brand new flooring by cutting out a piece that was similarly shaped, then gooping on adhesive, they failed to cut the new, laminate flooring properly and left it hanging over the vent so the register (which was left extremely dirty--much like the rest of the kitchen and dining rooms) would not sit flush, and the list goes on (and on, and on, and on . . .). -10/10, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! (Oh, and I didn't even mention that they left the windows open not once, but TWICE while it was raining and got the brand new sheetrock wet and warped the wood trim--when they were here to REPAIR WATER DAMAGE, NOT CAUSE MORE. The communication was EXTREMELY lacking, and they were very unprofessional throughout the entire process. I will absolutely be contacting my insurance company.)
