I have always enjoyed this office. The staff makes me feel heard! I wanted to comment because I saw the 1 star review - I don't know if that really happened or not but I do know that is not the character of Roberta's State Farm office. I also would like to point out that Roberta supports local businesses. She also donates both time & money to the community in the form of Real World and Family Day River Walk. read more

Don't waste your time, literally. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and was nicely greeted and offered a water while I waited. After ten minutes I was offered water again, they said the person that would help me was just finishing up. I understand, no problem. After 30 minutes I started to wonder if they even knew I was there. Long story short, after waiting for 50 minutes I decided to leave. They haven't even called me. Looks like it's time to find a new insurance company. read more

That would mean I have been with them for 16 years. If they can do this to long-standing customers, they will do it to anyone. To prove the validity of my point, below is my driving record (which the State Farm Representative also confirmed): Last Liable Accident: 2011 Last Speeding Ticket: 2012 No other citations, etc. I drive a lease, 2021 (I trade it out in a couple months) that roughly has 12,000 miles on it (meaning I drive less than 4,000 miles a year). If I could leave zero stars, I would…read more In October of 2023, our basement flooded due to a faulty sump pump. We had to have a restoration company come in on the weekend and also had to replace all the carpet and pad in our basement. We filed a claim, and were denied because we didn't have "sump pump" insurance, which we never were offered or declined. In fact, there was NO signed application completed by Parker Dire American Family Insurance Agency when we moved in 2020. After multiple calls and emails, a complaint was filed with the ND Insurance Commission, in which they claimed due to no documentation, we were basically out of luck. Parker Dire verbally told my wife that he would take care of this, and that his office was on the hook for it since it was their mistake. He did not. The reformation he tried to obtain was denied by the underwriters for lack of documentation - again, his fault. This entire process was unprofessional and incredibly infuriating, as he returned only TWO calls out of the DOZENS of times my wife and I had called. The emails that I had sent received no response, only until I told him I was filing a complaint with the ND Insurance Commission. He's accepted no responsibility or even tried to make things right. There are better American Family Insurance agents out there, so don't waste your time with Parker Dire.

Everyone in the bank that I encountered thereafter were pleasant and helpful. The locations around Bismarck were convenient, and the on-line banking and office hours are traditional, and in-bank and over the phone services were helpful, when needed. I appreciated the fee free checking as well. I recently moved again and closed the account, because ABC is no longer local in my region. I was impressed with the ease of closing the account as well. I would recommend ABC to others.

My bank only had drive through service today. Since I do not have an account with them the woman told me she would not do it for me despite the fact that it was an emergency. She was very dismissive and rude and no amount of money would persuade her. I would've paid $500.00 for it if I needed to in order to insure my son's safe return to the United States but oh well! Not her kid I suppose so who gives a damn! Thank God I have a friend who saw my post on Facebook begging for a notary on short notice and I got my son the paperwork needed today! This place is cold! Either she is or their policies are! Either way I'd NEVER stick my money in the care of such a place!!!

I had a nasty and costly experience with CB Accounting. In 2025 I received a letter from the IRS…read morequestioning my 2023 tax return. Since I was not sure what the IRS was questioning, I hired CB Accounting to review the IRS's letter, my tax 2023 tax return and let me know what corrections if any were needed. They said there was a small error in my 2023 return, that the error did not really change anything, I did not owe any taxes and all that was needed was for them to file an amended return which they did. Well, this year I got another letter from the IRS disallowing the amended return CB Accounting had filed and it listed taxes owed with interest and penalties added. I took the IRS letter I received this year to CB accounting to find out what was going on and what I should do, the person who had filed my amended return last year was gone and the person I had my appointment with this year never got back to me. I made a new appointment with the manager who had no idea of what had been done last year, I felt like I was trying to get a straight forward answer from a politician and ended up in a fruitless nonsensical discussion of he said she said that got me nowhere. Basically, I have made five 120-mile round trips to CB Accountings office and paid them hundreds of dollars to end up supposedly owing more money to the IRS than I did a year ago...not a happy experience to say the least, beware.
