Tech did the repairs quickly,then took the car for a test drive and was quite concerned about a rear wheel bearing noise. He recommended a quick ck and decided bearing was finished. I should also disclose that I have gone to Nelson's on and off for years whenever I needed brake work, so I'm a bit biased towards this place. That said, I came back to get my brakes done, and I am happy to say the new owners are continuing with the same tradition of great service at some of the fairest prices in town. I wound up having to pull off at the second runaway truck ramp -- a very dangerous place to be, but unavoidable. After more than an hour of wrangling with my roadside assistance service, which was trying to wriggle out of its commitment to provide the services I pay a good deal for (beware, RVers -- Good Sam Roadside Assistance was ANYTHING but a good Samaritan in this case!), I got them to send a tow truck to take my travel trailer and truck down off that scary mountain. Good Sam told the tow truck operator, once he was there and had my vehicles hooked up, that they would not honor my claim and pay them. To his credit, Christian called Travis, his supervisor, to explain what was going on. Travis did the right thing, saying, "Get them off that dangerous spot, and we'll deal with their service later." I am hoping he was able to recoup his costs from Good Sam, because Blue Line is a great, very capable tow service with good human beings who did the decent thing. I will never forget my sense of relief coming down off that steep grade. Thank you, guys, for being the anti-jerks and renewing my faith in human nature!

Repair cost $472 and charged me the full diagnostic price(no folding it in or discount). Final cost $627. That's wild. Before going in, I thought: this might be my new go to mechanic and I wanted to keep business local. My window is fixed- so thank you. But, will not be going back.

I was up visiting in grants pass when all of a sudden, a terrible noise was coming from the front right of my engine bay. Not knowing the exact cause, had my suv towed into Tom's early on a Monday. By Monday afternoon they knew what was wrong, had the part is stock and could get me back on the road by end of the next day. They were even complete early and upon pickup, the tech showed me the broken fan from the radiator fan assembly that was basically wobbling away making quite the ruckus. I am so thankful that Tom's was helpful, knowledgeable and quick. They did come highly recommended by some friends so I'm glad I trusted them. If needed, will definitely take vehicles back to Tom's.
