Homeowners beware!!…read more I first met this vendor after discovering they were using my yard as an unauthorized access point to drive a backhoe alongside our property. It was very presumptuous to operate heavy equipment on our lawn without first obtaining our permission. When I spoke with them in person, they seemed reasonable and indicated they would address the situation. Unfortunately, once they left the area, communication became a completely different story. We have reached out to this vendor at least three times by phone and text, and they have been largely unresponsive. Ironically, the primary reason I was trying to reach them was to discuss hiring them for work at a second property we own. It's unfortunate that their failure to return phone calls or text messages will likely cost them a project worth thousands of dollars. Responsiveness and follow-through are important qualities in a contractor, and based on our experience, those have been lacking.

My husband and I decided to go with Miller Well Drilling because our daughter and son-in-law…read morepraised their work so highly. Every step of the way with them has been a wonderful experience for us - from the time we entered the building and met Raine, who is utterly fantastic, to scheduling and drilling phone calls with Joey, to the search for water. Every person I have spoken to has been professional, friendly and has taken time to explain anything I did not understand. We are deeply grateful to Matt Seabolt and Nick who were our well professionals onsite. They drilled 300 feet and found three quarters of a gallon of water per minute (not what we were hoping for). We talked quite a bit with Matt, and decided to drill another hundred feet. We were praying hard for good flow results. However, it had not made a substantial difference at 400. Drill another hundred. Within minutes I had a phone call from Matt who was Soo Excited - at 401 feet - just one foot more! - they hit the mother load - so much water that we could have shared it with our daughter who lives below us!! A miracle! My eternal thanks to Matt Seabolt for his time, his talent, his prayers and his knowledge that has made us now able to build our last home. For this type of work, I highly recommend Conley Contracting. Not only does he live and work here,…read morebut he has done this work his entire career. He trained in large city infrastructure and residential work, and spent almost a decade working in and around Atlanta before moving back to Blairsville where he was born and raised to run a family owned, bonded and insured business and raise his children outside the city in the mountains. Josh is both talented and an expert in his field. He is also honest, reliable, and fair with his pricing. You can count on him to treat you like family. He did wonderful work laying drainage lines, fixing our water leakage in our basement, and re-grading our entire property to resolve drainage problems. He also laid a gorgeous patio. 10 out of 10. Bottom line? A good man with excellent skills. Sure there are lots to choose from, but Josh understands that he will see you again and that his word is his bond, and he treats you as such. We have him lined up to install a driveway on another property next.

WORST COMPANY EVER…read more We have needed our elevator serviced for months. This company is supposed to service our area, and it took forever to finally send out a tech. The tech stayed for over 2-3 hours, and he could not figure out what was wrong with our elevator. Cost us $250. He told us to call an electrician to see if power was getting to it. So we had to get an electrician out here (another $63). Nothing wrong with power. So we have tried to get the tech to come back out to verify what the problem was. He said it was either a motherboard had went out or something to do with voltage. It has been almost a month, and he refuses to send someone here. All he says is he is booked 3 weeks out AND refuses to put us on the schedule! Called another company on Friday. They came out first thing Monday morning!!! Figured out the issue in FIVE MINUTES! Spent 30 more minutes going over the rest of the elevator to make sure there were no other problems. I do NOT recommend this company at all.

You can trust this company. Totally honest and reputable. Would not hesitate to use them again.read more
