Took notes but continued down the road to ReStore, where I found 2 suited to my size sought, and purpose. Both were selling for $60 each, one 3 drawer bombe chest (min $1K on Wayfair), and one antique 3 drawer with an inlay marque top, both in less than perfect but very good shape. Their staff was congenial, and assisted putting the bombe chest in my car, which BARELY fit in the trunk (yes, I expected this, as I'd brought a tape measure so was prepared). I also picked up a new under appliance (refrigerator) brush to clean the coolant grill for about $3.50 (min $8 at big box) and 2 white sconce glass shades, $.50 each ($11 at big box). They've enormous selection of building supplies. The only thing(s) in the entire store that looked not to be any bargain was the screws/nuts/bolts drawers, same as found at Ace/TrueValue stores, as they were priced the same.

Is there some serious venom in the reviews about this place?…read more I'm not sure if the people who frequent the Leominster Home Depot are substantially different from those in locations closer to Boston, but it sure does seem like a lot of people in the Leominster area are DIYers, which is super-cool. And if I went into a place and had my DIY project screwed up because a saw wasn't calibrated correctly or they couldn't find my custom order storm window, then I'd also be ornery. But my experience at this Home Depot was fantastic. Unlike other Home Depots I've been to, this one has plenty of employees around. Also, I went to buy a particular lawn mower and string trimmer which no other Home Depot remotely near me had, but this store had it. So, I drove 95 minutes each way to get them. No joke, this Home Depot was probably the best stocked one I've ever been to. The really cool thing about this place is the vibe. Maybe it was because today was a beautiful spring day, but I've never felt such happiness in a Home Depot. It was coming from the customers and the employees. No joke, I went there with a friend, and we both felt it. I think it must have something to do with the area because it also seemed that the people of the Leominster area seemed far nicer than average. Kudos to the store and good people of this area.

(and that is being kind) There was no one around to help me with questions, finding or lifting the toilets. In the box, they weigh over 100 pounds per toilet.   I had 2 customers that helped me! One helped me put the toilets on the flat cart and 1 to help me put them in my car. I had no help finding the flat cart, (not a regular customer) and was disrespected and insulted right to my face since another customer was cuter than I was... and he chose to walk away and help someone else. The other coworker laughed when it happened. I doubt you were raised to treat people so poorly. There was no one available to help me load my car, a customer saw me struggling and came over to help me get into my car. He then gave me tips on how to get it into my home. Thank you to the strangers. I need to return a couple of items that were not needed... guess I will be going to another HOME DEPOT to get my credit. Never again to the Home Depot in Leominster. Instead of taking customers first come first serve, he bounced between people as they arrived, taking care of anyone who had a quick request and putting off everyone else. I'm not sure why he did this, but he was very pleasant all the while. As a result, we were there for over 3 hours (no lie) when it should have only taken about 30 minutes. It was around 20 degrees too, so we were literally frozen on top of it. There was also a guy and his two kids that were there just before us, and they were still there even after we left. However, he didn't charge us for cutting the wood and apologized for the wait. We were happy with the quality and selection of the wood. Also, the guy was very knowledgeable and helped us to choose the right wood for our project. Had the service been better I would have definitely given more stars.

We had a very large job done, and a small part of it went awry due to a staff error, which he acknowledged at one point and then denied. absolute worst customer service I've ever had to deal with. called to have our sink reinstalled…read moreafter it fell off of the granite because they never installed the mounting bolts. asked them numerous times if we needed a plumber and they told us again numerous times that we did not due to them not needing to remove any of the plumbing going to said sink. tech came out removed the sink along with all of the plumbing that they said they did not need to. called the same day to get an answer about the situation and the lady that answered named Tori yelled At me and hung up on me. the following day I called again because they never called me back. I spoke to both of the owners and got the same rude disrespectful and unprofessional answer from them. I was also told that the tech was not supposed to touch the plumbing because he is not a licensed plumber nor do they have anyone with a plumbing license. keep in mind we paid them upfront for the repair on the sink which they also installed off center casusing none of the existing plumbing to line up what so ever and even if it did line back up the tech lost O rings and gaskets needed to even try to put back together.
