That's not my watch rag, GROSS!
Kenneth S.

NOT RECOMMENDED! While The sheets looked like they had been changed The pillowcases on three of four pillows had makeup stains and like greasy head stains and were wrinkled when I pulled the covers back. The floor had obviously not been cleaned... It was nasty, wore my socks everywhere and used their towels on the floor to get dressed. The shower had obviously not been cleaned b/c the rubber mat was still in the bottom instead of hanging on the side and there was a dirty wash rag hanging on the head of the shower. Woke up in the morning to get a shower and leave and discovered there was absolutely no water pressure because the hot water heater had been out for no telling how long and they had the water shut off... so, literally a trickle out of the spout while the sink still worked. I thought the water was off?!?!?!!! Lame. I had to take a cold bird bath in the sink to be able to get dressed and out. While I was brushing my teeth the water started sputtering and spitting brown water out and here it is 2 hours later I still cannot get the taste out of my mouth and ended up throwing my toothbrush away. The manager claims she inspects every single room after it's been cleaned and before she rents it out. So, I put it on her that the room never got inspected or maybe she is just good with lying in that level of filth. No percentage discount offered.

no latches on windows - easy open inside or outside access.

TERRIBLE Should have read these reviews first, nasty place. New door locks, but missing the latch plate on the door frame, looked like the door was kicked in. No latches on windows, can open from outside. They gave me a foam block to keep the door closed! Transactions going on all night long in the parking lot. Terrible GM Catherine, yelling at the clerk in the background. Dirty tub with residue, had to do a sink bath in the morning. Dirty sheets, had to sleep(?) on the cleanest one in a two bed room. Unfortunately, no where else in town was available. Got out of there soon as we could AM, office was locked up. Would have left it as a bad experience, then got charged $150 extra on my card, claiming we smoked in there (probably the neighbor's vents wafting over), butts all around on balcony, even on our door mat. (we don't smoke). Whoever gave them good reviews must be a shill, or maybe pre 2019 visitors. The clerk seemed ok, but seemed intimidated by the GM. She at least responded, and showed us how to turn on TV (but couldn't change channels and I wasn't into cartoons). Watch yourself-would not go near there-check your CC charges after!!!

Nasty baseboards the whole place!!
Elizabeth W.

I have them one star since they did let our 6 lb chihuahua stay for free and the staff was nice. The best way to describe this place is "pearls on a pig !". The remodel was done cheap! The floors are laminate. The baseboards were filthy!! The sheets and bedding stained. Handles falling off the cheap furniture. Day we checked out no hot water for showers. People partying until 4 Am !!!

We found bed bugs in our mattress. The rooms look poorly sanitized. The showers smell like urine.

This review is long overdue. We stayed here in October of 2017…read more The cabin was clean and had everything you would need already stocked minus the food. After we arrived and unpacked we made a quick trip to nearby grocery store were we bought everything we needed for a weekend. We actually even ran into the owners at the grocery store. They are very friendly and always make it clear that if you need anything to ask them and they will provide. The cabins are far enough from the main road that you aren't bothered from the small town traffic noise and spaced out enough that you feel like its just you and your cabin in the middle of the woods. We stayed at one of their pet friendly cabins and I brought along with me my German Shepherd. We already are planning on returning this year in fall/winter time with a couple of friends, can't wait!

We had booked on AirBnB and are familiar with that process. The check in instructions on the app and in the email said to contact the host for check in instructions. We sent a message to them on the app and got no response. We called their phone number shown on their listing. It is not an operational number. We ended up having to call the AirBnB customer service number. They were also unable to get ahold of the host. AirBnB refunded our money and we had to check into a motel nearby. It was a long frustrating night.

But it…read morewas slightly less expensive booking directly AND it was VERY NICE to have the different rooms explained to me by a live person before I picked a room. They have some 2 person jacuzzi tubs I would have gotten if available. That would be awesome. I agree with all the 5 star reviews. I've never seen a 4.9 star average anywhere and this place deserves it. I was in the smallest room on the 1st floor. I took a pic of one set of stairs. I travel with a lot of stuff to lug in by myself so I was thrilled with my little room with easy access. It was wonderful. The bed was great. It has 2 very big full pillows and 2 somewhat thinner pillows but I travel with my own pillows so I didn't test them. They look good unless you need very flat or soft pillows. If so bring your own old flat goose down like I do. (:-) I took a LOT of pictures of everything. Especially the breakfast foods. There is no hot breakfast. Just YUMMY stuff. Breakfast is in the lounge and all the rooms are well marked when you walk around. Nobody is onsite. Everything has codes to unlock. You receive a very helpful text with everything you need to know. Keep your phone with you when you leave the room in case someone locks a door that's usually unlocked and you can't remember the code. The LOUNGE is easily found as you wander. If I lived near here I would call this a great place for a ROMANTIC GETAWAY. They even have a wine bottle opener in the lounge. And of course a 2 person jacuzzi can be quite romantic although it would also have been therapeutic for my old bones and muscles all by myself! There are old fashioned touches like DVD players in the rooms and DVD movies to borrow in the lounge. There are also some games and nice game tables and chairs to play games in the lounge. It's wonderful here. (:-) This place is LOVELY and I recommend it highly!!! If you find this review helpful please VOTE!

Charming Stay at the Heritage Inn - Twice in One Week!…read more We initially chose the Heritage Inn in Snowflake, AZ based on a Hotels.com search. It looked charming and was reasonably priced--and it more than lived up to our expectations. This is a delightful little inn where each room is uniquely decorated with its own color or theme. There is no on-site staff, but check-in is easy with a code provided, similar to many vacation rentals. Our rooms were tastefully decorated, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The guest lounge is modest but well-stocked with snack foods, which also serve as the continental breakfast. It's not fancy, but everything is high quality and thoughtfully presented. One great amenity is the Tesla destination charger. Just be sure to arrange in advance to have it turned on. During our first stay, I didn't ask ahead and couldn't find it, but the next morning the staff quickly responded and turned it on. On our return trip a week later, we booked again last minute. Even though the staff had gone home for the day, they still found someone to come back and activate the charger for us--outstanding customer service! We've now stayed in both the Red Roost and the Blue Denim rooms. Both are adorable, but we slightly preferred Blue Denim--it's downstairs, a bit roomier, and has a comfortable easy chair. The price difference is minimal and worth it, though we wouldn't hesitate to stay in any of the rooms. Conveniently located, the inn is right next door to Streets on Main, where we had a delicious meal. There's also a highly rated Mexican restaurant on the other side that we plan to try next time. We'll definitely stay here again!

The hotel was located in my desired area, the room was comfortable and the hotel price was good! Honestly, I usually sticked with Hilton brands these days for the most part, but when this hotel came up as overall great value, I couldn't resist to book this place instead...and I wasn't disappointed at all. The staff were great and helpful. I felt very safe and sound asleep there. Best of all, the hot cooked breakfast meal in the hotel's restaurant next to the lobby made this the best deal ever. If I ever wanted the best value hotel, I would go for this hotel. It's not fancy at all by any means but it does its job!

We were also stocked with lotion, hair care, etc. which was great! Cons: Common areas were not clean. Trash was piled in the hallway for two days and we noticed some need for dusting. There was a musty smell in the room and general areas. The lights in the bathroom flickered and the water pressure in the sink was so strong it was hard to wash your hands. Ps. You cannot check in any earlier than check-in time, even if your room is ready, unless you pay a fee. Unusual business in my experience! At this rate, (especially for almost $180/ night!!) I would not return to this hotel.

Clean, well maintained cabins right on the lake with a friendly and courteous staff. There are 2 areas to fish from. They have a Jon Boat, peddle boat, and kayaks that are available for free on a first come/first served basis but only during office hours 9-4pm. There is a bigger boat for rent but it was broken. There were lots of trees and shade which we liked. We stayed in the Ash cabin. It was not great. It is old. The "comfort zones" which we later found out were heaters were on and set to 80° when we arrived. It was very warm inside when we arrived and we didn't figure out until too late that we were turning the heaters down to cool things off not off. There were no manuals to help instruct us on temperature control and we had to text the after hours number to get help. It took 2+ days to cool this place down. They encouraged us to open windows at night but not many of the windows (none upstairs) had screens. There is no cooling unit upstairs but they brought us some box fans which didn't help much. The plumbing upstairs was slow and had to be snaked because the sink wouldn't drain. Fridge took some time to cool down but then worked fine. Couches are worn and you sink down into them. We read that every cabin has a fireplace but ours didn't which was disappointing. There was 1 smart tv. We tried to log into Disney but someone else was already logged in. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but then the TV needed a pin that we didn't have. WiFi worked well. The kitchen was clean and had what we needed. The blinds are dusty. We probably wouldn't stay here again unless there were some significant updates.
