The sheets are clean and soft and the pillows are lush. This was the perfect stop before returning home for a perfect night's sleep. I've stayed at other Super 8's before, so I wasn't expecting much. However, this is the worst Super 8 I've stayed at. When I checked in, the man behind the counter was very friendly. He gave me a key to a room and I took my stuff upstairs. When I got to the room, I found that the bed was not made and the towels in the bathroom were piled on top of the toilet. I guess who ever stayed here must have checked out that morning and the room was not cleaned yet. So, I go back down to check in and told the man that the room was not cleaned. He apologized and gave me a different room. I go to the new room and find that it was clean and no issues were present. Worked for me. However, after staying in the room for a longer period of time, I did find odd stains on one of the walls. It didn't bother me as I just didn't touch the wall. I usually don't like having my room cleaned everyday. If staying for more than 4 days, I usually go 2 days, then have somebody clean the room. So, I stayed for a couple of days, cleaned up all of my stuff, and then removed the "Do Not Disturb" sign from the outer door handle. I left the hotel and did some sight seeing. I was gone for just over 6 hours. Figuring the room was done, I returned to find that the room had not been touched. Maybe it was my fault for not asking that the room be cleaned, but I feel odd asking for someone to do what they are supposed to be doing. On another note, I guess the employees that run the hotel, live there as well. And they have children. Not very disciplined children either. I would hear them run up and down the hallway playing with soccer balls and screaming. Now I know they are just kids and I was once a child, but I can't stand undisciplined children. And the way they were behaving in a hotel environment was just flat out unacceptable. Overall I gave this hotel two stars and the only reason I didn't give it one star is because it has free Wi-Fi. There was also a microwave and a fridge in my room. Bottom line, find a different hotel. There are others in the area.

Housekeeping: I was surprised that after night one we did not receive any housekeeping, yet received TWO texts asking if we'd like to tip. I appreciate housekeepings work, upon arrival, but I expect fresh towels and TP as well. I had to request the items daily at the front desk. While this may be a company policy to only visit after so many days, I think it's poor customer service. I will not change my opinion on this no matter the hotel. I'm paying to stay and I expect fresh towels and at least more TP at the minimum. Staff: Every person I encountered was professional and polite, not just to me, but witnessing other interactions as well. Grounds: no outdoor pool, indoor pool that has a heater-but currently not working and they do NOT make this known prior to booking. Outdoor patio with tables, lounge chairs, grill and cornhole boards. Specific smoking areas. Pets: pet friendly for a minimal fee and pet specific rooms. Quiet, convenient and the workout room was private, clean and the Peloton was in good working order. The room was clean and spacious. Having an in room microwave was very helpful as well as the mini fridge. Breakfast was typical fare but unlike most places, was the same thing every morning. Good for a day or two but any longer and you'll want to explore off site to get some variety. There's a Waffle House across the street. Free EV charging available although later in my stay those spots were occupied by non EVs. Not the hotel's fault but can render this feature useless. Tesla chargers nearby though if needed. The highlight of my stay was the staff. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating especially Gyasi. He has a magnetic personality and really enjoys his interactions with guests and making sure their stay is pleasant is his top priority. He even noted when I pulled into an EV spot and met me with the card to start charging without me asking. "I saw you pull in and wanted to help you enjoy your night." I'd stay here again based on Gyasi alone. Highly recommended - would stay again. The bed was comfortable enough for a short stay, but the bathroom and sink area fell short of expectations in terms of design and quality. It's an old school bathtub. My door to my room had a big gap which light up my entry. One positive is the location -- it's conveniently situated approximately 10 minutes from the airport, which makes it practical for quick business trips or early departures. Overall, this property works well if you're in town for meetings -- a place to sleep and head out early the next morning. However, for a more elevated or memorable stay, it may not fully deliver.
