I take a star away because the bathroom has a toilet seat that was repainted! The chipping paint is unhygienic, if you get my drift! The shower needs to be recaulked at the lower that meets the tub. And we each had a horrible pillow that had wadded up lumps in it! This is a major departure from the Hilton family brand, and the sleep comforter that I've, custom to end all my over 30 years of traveling for work and pleasure.

There is plenty of parking in the lot and the hotel is close to many restaurants and services of all types. The room was large and well appointed. The bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked well (as it was hot outside), the bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. In addition, I was able to log on to the internet for free as a guest, which i really appreciated. There are guest laundry facilities on every other floor, which is nice if they are needed. The included breakfast buffet was well stocked with all that is expected in a full breakfast, including hot items such as eggs and breakfast meats. And the hotel has a large number of tables for the breakfast patrons, so finding a table was not an issue. All the personnel that i interacted with were great. I especially appreciated the front desk attendant who gave me a complementary bottle of water when I told him that the maid had inadvertently discarded my empty bottle when I left out. All in all, this is a very nice hotel and i highly recommend it.

I was told when I checked in that housekeeping would come every other day. I was pleasantly surprised when I came back after a long day of work that my bed was made and fresh towels were put out. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance and easy on/off access to the freeway. Gym is available 24/7 with your key card. It was well spread and the dining area offered plenty of seating. Hot oatmeal was great. Nice to have daily housekeeping service. The staff were very friendly. Knocking rating to a 4-star because of the 4:30am wake-up calls, but otherwise this hotel is indeed in line with the Marriott brand.

There were plenty of pillows per bed; both soft and firm style. T.V. was plenty big enough for the room. Great channel selection. Bathroom was a bit tight especially if someone was using the toilet. Shower was larger and spacious. Toiletries were in pump bottles on the wall. They didn't have small individual bottles to offer...but that's okay. Bathroom linens were the perfect blend of softness. Breakfast was decent given the circumstances and they are trying to accommodate all types of guests. The fitness center has a few cardio machines and few weights. Plenty to get a good workout. Overall, very pleased with the property and staff. A classic Holiday Inn experience.

When I called to explain, I was told the manager is not there and she was "the only one here". Did not offer an apology or an ETA of when someone would call me back, just that I had to call the third party it was reserved under. This is still under review. I was coming in from a 6 hour delay at the airport to stay with my mother who injured herself and unable to walk. When I came in so late from the airport this was the only place for miles that had availability as her home is over an hour from this hotel and my ride was not able to stay late for me. Again, this is not directed towards the manager yet please be aware of the issues at hand. Also, I did not feel safe with all of the other customers hanging around their doors after dark. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.
