My husband stayed there while in Medford for business last week. we had a medical emergency and he had to leave and give up the next 4 nights of his stay. We booked through Priceline and when we asked for a refund/credit for his nights he wasn't using, he was told no. As he was leaving the girl at the desk said that he had an outstanding balance which is BS because it as all prepaid online. Unprofessional and unreasonable that they wouldn't be able to refund us or even give us a credit. That's fine though. Because he wouldn't stay there again. It was disgusting and not clean. read more

Didn't get the impression the room was clean. The beds and sheets were wrinkled. The bathroom was disgusting. Wall paper bubbling apart. Towel rack was ripped off and never replaced. Age old caked on dust on the floor boards. Carpet looked unclean. Service was ok but came across as unprofessional. Bathroom light screamed at us until it heated up. The toilet would barely flush. Shower pressure was non existent. The pool was disgusting. No pride in this ownership whatsoever. I'd give it a negative 5 stars if I could. read more

The website is so beyond deceiving. We get there and get checked in the carpet looked as tho it had been patched up, curtain was hanging had to find a way to keep it up and then couldn't use it do to that. Bathtub was horrible looked dirty then went to shower and it was so slippery I almost fell. In order to use the AC we had to prop it up to use. Bed spreads and sheets had holes. Walls looked like they have never been cleaned. Will never be back read more

"Should have been better" is how I would describe this motel. We've stayed there two or three times per year for about 12 years because we prefer budget motels. We're only there to grab some sleep and some breakfast and hit the road again, so we don't need a lot. But over the years the rooms have become increasingly shabby. Instead of making improvements, the company changed the name of the hotel from Comfort Inn to Quality Inn, which apparently indicates a lower-quality motel. I really thought by now management would have made some improvements, especially since they've raised the rate about 30%. But no. Now there is only one lamp in the room instead of two. The upholstered chair was miserable in 2017 and has just gotten worse. They advertise a hot breakfast, but there is no breakfast. The night manager tried to be helpful when I asked for plastic utensils, but they didn't have any. Can't get deliveries. The desk staff tries hard, but they take all the heat for the bad situation and they don't have control. Choice Hotels, you need to do a lot better. read more

I booked, and paid, two rooms a week in advance for two nights. We drove 12 hours and when we finally got to the hotel at 10:30 pm, I was informed that the maids had called out sick for the day and they didn't have rooms for us. Apparently every single maid was sick? If they had called out and knew there wasn't clean rooms available, why not call the paying customers to let them know so we had more time to find a new hotel? Plus, the woman working the front desk was rude and so non chalant about the whole thing like it was no skin off her back. We drove to a few different hotels only to find every single place was booked except for the Sweet Breeze Inn. Thank god we found a spot to rest our heads. I do NOT recommend the Quality Inn, they do not put their customers first and couldn't care less that they have ruined someone's trip. read more

Good-very cheap, extremely nice staff, convenient location, comfortable, clean, decent breakfast, Bad-very dated, lots of mullets, grungy carpet, I was probably the only guest wearing a shirt with sleeves I have been all over the world and have stayed in everything from a hole in the ground in Iraq to the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs (a very nice place that Presidents have stayed in) and I admit I am a bit of a gourmet camper. Aesthetically, this place won't win any prizes. I would be embarrassed taking a high-class call girl here. This is more of a meth-whore kind of place. I am not sure I would use the pool, but that's because of the fine folks who were there for Boatnik, which for those of you who don't know, is full of people who look like they just got fired from their jobs as carnies. The bed was comfortable, as long as I didn't think about some of the disgusting things that happen in motels. The motel smells a bit like the folks that were staying here. The service was very good, and they were very accomodating. I am not sure if it was because we were normal people with full sets of teeth who improved the clientele quotient or if they are always this nice, but they had very good service. I would stay there again. Comfort Inns are usually cheap, dated, comfortable with decent breakfasts. read more

The bedding was stained sheets, blanket, bed spread , pillows were stained, had to flip the mattress due to it looked like a big stain of pee , looked like they just let it dry and didn't try to clean it. As we walked in the entrance there was spilled stuff on the floor that had dried they didn't even clean it up. The hall carpet was dirty and all stained up very nasty. We had to dump our own trash exchange our linens. We had to ask for a hand towel and bath mat there was none in the room. No continental breakfast. The floor was all grimy and dirty we had to go to the store to get cleaning items so we could clean the room our selves. There was mold in the shower ceiling and smells like mold in the bathroom.I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It's so sad read more

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Did not feel welcomed at all after a long 10 hour drive. The woman at the front desk was very rude, wasn't making eye contact and when asking for a room availability she declined me real quick. It's funny how she was able to help the family in front of me even though they did not have a reservation, but as soon as she saw me well let's just say she did NOT want me there at all. Not even offering me other choices or hotels around. It was already a long day of traveling and all I wanted was somewhere to rest. Just thought I'd shared my experience and hope this is helpful to anyone passing through. read more

Rolled in to town late at night last month needing a last-minute place to stay, and the staff was so friendly and helpful! The room was comfortable and clean. Great value. read more

So disappointed when I walked up the hall to my room at 8:00 pm on 9-28-2020. Carpets in the hall are filthy. Obviously haven't seen a vacuum in days. Was hoping for better in my room, but was once again disappointed. Once again, the floors were filthy. Debris on the floor in bathroom and sink area. Carpet worn and filthy. Counter around sink with debris on it. Nightstand with dried spilled drink of some sort. Obviously all housekeeping had done was change sheets and towels. I went to the front desk to see about having someone come and clean. That drew a chuckle and "No, that won't be happening tonight." So, a national chain with what I thought was a good reputation. This particular site is a filthy dump. I will not be staying here or at any of their affiliates in the future, and suggest that anyone else be careful when booking a Quality Inn. read more

Would highly recommend staying away from this hotel. My family and I are on vacation we came from California all the way to Idaho. We chose this hotel to stay in for one night on our way back and I'm regretting it. We made reservations for 2 rooms over the phone and we were very adamant about pets cause we have 2 large dogs with us. Upon check in everything was good we told the lady "don't mind our dogs if they act a little crazy walking through." Just joking with her. She replied "not a problem at all!" And laughed. So I go into room 120 and find that the toilet is completely dirty and unusable. So I return to the front desk and addressed it and asked if we could have it cleaned. There is nobody on site who could do it so she offered us a new room which I took. After inspecting the rooms we go and get our dogs. When I walked back in with my dog I was told she didn't know that we had a dog when we were very adamant about it on the phone and that this was the reason why we chose this hotel. It lists that it is pet friendly online and other tenants we saw walk through the lobby with dogs aswell. She was very bitter that I addressed a dirty toilet after we spent $360 for 2 rooms for my family and I. She gave me a hard time about my dogs because of it. I see that this lady is constantly getting bad reviews and my review will make this 12 1 star reviews in a row. Management and ownership should be ashamed. read more

Quality Inn - Dirty toilet hadn't been cleaned. Pee all over the seat as well. - Hotels Near Me - Grants Pass, Oregon

Nicer than motel 6. Flat screen has poor resolution and bad lighting so the picture is dim. Parking can fill up. Good amount of truckers stopped so makes me think they trust the place as a stop in Grants Pass. Walking distance to McDonalds and Black Bear Diner. Has a small pool out front 3ft-6ft deep. the pool location is not desirable, it's in the front parking lot off the lobby so its not private. however, Hubby had it all to himself for a morning workout. It's short so difficult to do laps. The continental breakfast is Hard Boiled eggs, sausage, cheap bacon, yogurts, basic fruit (apples), waffles, muffins, toast, and some donuts. Tables for the breakfast are wood with solid wood chairs. No elevator to second floor, ask for a room on the first floor. Laundry is 1 washer 1 dryer upstairs. $1 for wash 75cents to dry. Dryer is old and takes forever. We could read more

I'm not impressed. I realize it's the price we were going for, but we've stayed in other quality inns and they were nicer. The stairs going up to the second floor are filthy. There are spots all over the hall carpeting. Our room has a strange smell that I've come to realize it must have been a smoking room at one time. Parking is not the best. We only hope that our car isn't broken into over night as far away as we had to park. Oh...the refrigerator door is broken, so you have to lift the door to get it to even shut. This place could use a good deep clean. read more

It would be a good idea if you not stay here. There were not enough towels, the microwave didn't work the refridge wasn't plugged in, not enough cleaning staff and very strange people may be extended stay. I had to check out. People seem to be living in the parking lot. read more

Made a reservation online, came into the hotel and checked in the rude lady(didn't catch her name but she was a heavy set lady with dark hair) at the front says "oh you have a pet?" And said it wasn't in the reservation. No where did it ask if I was bringing a pet. I didn't know I had to specify that she says "of course you do" The hotel says pet friendly...? Then says they don't have a pet room, we travel a lot and always bring our dog, and yes we are from out of state but have never had this happen to us. It would have been alright if the lady wasn't super rude about it.. place needs better staff 0_o also the pool outside, looks like an actual swamp. read more

Solid 2 stars. The inexpensive quality doesn't bother me. But the general lack of care about upkeep is disturbing. Our room was not clean. Crumbs and schmutz on the desk. Lots of it. Finger prints all over the sink mirror. The 3 bulb vanity only had 2 bulbs working and one was mid-matched. Instead of a vanity bulb they just used a regular lightbulb. Not a single picture on the bedroom walls. Pretty grim. Towels should have been replaced a year ago. Biggest pro: The bed and pillows were decent. That was a big relief. read more

Absolutely ridiculous.. I stayed at the quality inn portland airporr for a few weeks.. I decided to stay again even after hqving to contact the corperate office about a syringe that was sitting next to the stairs we had to walk up and with no resolution i still came to stay there again.. We booked a room for one night in December while we were on road trip. It was 34 degrees outside however when we got to our room the window was open and room was freezing. The night we called they were almost completely booked! But we got in a room that was recently renovated, and were quite satisfied. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a full breakfast with many options. I am glad I chose this hotel to stay at, 100% recommend read more

It was pretty much what I expected for the price and it was clean enough for one night on a business trip. It just had a cheap feel to the place and the furniture was showing some age. There is no elevator though which was an issue for me due to a lot of camera gear I had to lug up stairs. It was my fault for not confirming this when I booked it. I had to spend an extra night in town and decided to spend an extra $25 for a better room up the street. What a difference $25 made, the second room was SO much more comfortable! read more

Ok hotel we were desperate but due to the Eclipse everything was booked... Dusty a bit

When I checked in I like almost all faces were evedent of fatigue confusion sorrow, emotions that in my experiences can make people unpredictable. People seeking refuge due to the almost entire state consumed in fire. and although evident exhaustion on the faces of the staff due to the sudden influx of guest. with full knowledge that they to may no longer have a home to go to. Every employee that I encountered right from the beginning with the receptionist where excellent there empathy and natural smiles I now to me was a comfort in a crazy time thank you staff of quality inn for showing us guest a prime example of how we should be to one another if I owned the establishment I would give you all raises, because it is characteristic like all of yours that produce regular customers. We pulled in at midnight and had to be back on the road by 7am. Most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in!!! The room was so comfortable - it had an ac unit in the room with the perfect hum to fall asleep to. Pillows and bedding are very plush- I didn't want to get up. We stay in a LOT of hotels and I rarely review them unless they were super good or super bad. This one, might not be the fanciest, but it's quaint and most importantly... Clean and comfy! Thanks Comfort Inn for the best nights sleep I've had in a while! ;) "On the road again..." read more

This is the worst quality inn I have ever stayed in! Took my 3 kids to visit family and it was filthy. Nobody should ever make excuses it's because of Covid! If the room can't be cleaned it shouldn't be slept in! The sheets had dog hair, stained blood. The comforter had a dried thick white I don't know what with dirty smudges in it. My daughter took off the pillow case...to see how the pillow was.. gross!! We took our sweatshirts and wrapped around the pillow to sleep on. My son was more comfortable sleeping on the desk, as I wanted to sleep in my car! We took off all the blankets and slept with what we brought since there was no extra blankets. I was so itchy all night sleeping in the bed I woke up with red bumps...bathtub was moldy black and pink. No cups, coffee maker or toilet paper was an inch thick left. Sent down my daughter to get some more they refused to give her a roll..I couldn't call down because there was no phone. I had to go get some myself. Mirrors had splatters of previous people's toothpaste. Dried drips of urine on baseboard and trim. The hallway stunk with cigarettes. I could go on! It's not Sanitary to stay here!! read more

First impressions can be long-lasting I think I've heard that somewhere. I agree that all hotels need to be remodeled in construction but what I mistook for construction was a full parking lot in a swimming pool in front of the hotel. I know they can't do much about the pool location so I'm not too concerned about that I asked for a king size bed and got a double bed. The room looks like a cave only one light worked in the room. The light over the sink in the bathroom seem to be the brightest but that was because there were 3 bulbs. The light in the toilet area was blinking which reminded me of the shining. If you stay in room 118 and turn on the heater or AC you may want to leave the knobs where they are otherwise it just keeps pumping out heat in our case. The heater didn't seem to have a temperature control that worked, had to get up at 3:30 and turn the whole thing off. I really am looking for the positives to the room and that is the water is hot in the shower. That being said I have a better water flow in my trailer than they have in their shower. The full breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, English muffins, toast, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, or you may have a waffle. A beverage dispenser has orange apple cranberry juices they also have a decaf and regular coffee, hot water, 0% milk. They also have a machine that was broken or out of order of which served I do not know but I did not find a microwave in the breakfast area either. They do have microwaves and refrigerators and coffee makers in the rooms. read more

I've stayed at a lot of Choice branded hotels over the last 4 years. The difference between the price and the value received has never been greater than it is at this property (ie. High price, poor quality). Just a lot if little things that need attention - walls need cleaning/painting, carpets old, lamp flickers when you move on the bed, chair feels like it is about to fall off its base, bathroom items just stuck in corner (no tray), no trash can in bed area or under sink, only decaf coffee in lobby, etc. etc. etc. Restaurants all over town are open at full capacity, but no breakfast here 'because of Covid' (Really???). Covid certainly wouldn't stop them from allowing access to the juice machine in the morning (drink fountains are open elsewhere) or providing a few packaged pastries, fruit or cereal and little 'school' milks to have in the room or anything at all. It gives the very strong impression that they are just using Covid as an excuse to not provide anything for breakfast (this part is actually very common at all Choice branded hotels, and really should be addressed by upper management; other hotel chains are already back to offering their full breakfasts). In summary, just very disappointing; could and SHOULD be much better. read more

We stopped here because in a way looked a tad more appealing than other hotels on the same street. The guy at the front was nice. Our room smelled a bit musty but the windows open and the ac works. The water pressure is a bit "delicate" but you don't run out of hot water. It's not horrible, I'm ok with saving a buck and skipping out on a Marriott here and there, so if you're spoiled this isn't the place for you. read more
