This is our last night in Oregon. It is a basic motel, and our stay is "very" clean. The refer does have a freezer. And i need ice for the car. The host is Quite nice and said he would book no one over our room so it would be quiet. The bed is comfy. He thought i was a previous guest and was proud to give me my favorite room. So i didn't correct him. Update: The tv is spectrum, only channels 10-67 and no guide. Not on remote, not from the office. Just advance a channel at a time and wait to see what it is. Silly. Wifi doesn't work, TV only has channels so no streaming services, don't let the good reviews deceive you. You'll get a so much better hotel for the same price, this was totally garbage. Was looking for a decent hotel with a moderate price in town and landed here. Having grown up in GP, I was aware there of this hotel but never stayed. It's located on the "main drag" across from a grocery store so I was worried it might be loud. Rest assured, no such bad luck. The rooms appear to have been remodeled and nicely appointed. My Queen room was very comfortable and clean. Frankly, I didn't want to leave it was a little so in town. The Kuerig, mini fridge and microwave make it a place you could stay in for a short stay getaway. I did indulge in a trip to Safeway for ice cream late at night, too. Pretty convenient! The owners were great; even agreeing to accommodate me after I booked the wrong night. They were super helpful and reassuring. Don't hesitate to book this hotel; it's worth every penny and is a great deal! read more

I was traveling from the bay area in California to grants Pass and I called to say that I would be coming in late. A very nice man said "no problem just ring the bell when you get here". 40 minutes later I noticed I had a message from Knights Inn saying they could not find my reservation and would I please call them. Now, I have a very difficult name and I only mentioned it once and I did not give them my phone number so they had to work hard to find me. Turns out that I was mistaken. I had a reservation somewhere else and not there. These very sweet people had called me to let me know or I would've been lost in the middle of the night. I will definitely be staying there next week when I come up again. You can't get service like that anywhere. read more

Five stars for friendly service at this no-frills budget roadside inn. I don't know if there was something going on the weekend we were passing through, but our first pick sold out from under us, and most everything else seemed either too divey or too expensive to justify for needing only a few hours to rest our road weary bones. Also, traveling with a dog can be challenging! After consulting Yelp, I called Knights Inn to see if they could accommodate us. I don't know if they generally accept pets, but the owner grilled me and then agreed to take us in the next night for a nominal ($15?) nonrefundable pet fee. Additionally, the room rate was low enough that we wouldn't feel bad eating the cost and driving on through the night if it was truly awful. Thankfully it was not. The room was simple but was CLEAN! No funky smells except for when our neighbor went out for a cigarette and the smoke would seep in and stink things up. Bed was comfortable, and water pressure was good. You definitely get some road noise from the highway, but for an overnighter it delivers. Option of two Dutch Bros about a block away. Convenient and affordable. I'd stay here again. read more

Great location and very friendly and accommodating staff. My plans changed at the lastinute and I had to check in at around midnight. They didn't blink an eye, and also accommodated a last minute extension of my stay. My room was clean and neat, and basically looked like the picture. Mind you, this is a 2 star motel, so don't expect a mint on your pillow, or food service. That said, I will definitely be staying there again. The only downside is that there is an early morning freight train that rumbles by, but that's nothing earplugs can't fix. read more

Very friendly! Rooms are good for the price. Nice and clean. Room is a little dated. But fiat screen tvs, newly remodeled bathrooms! We were very happy with our stay. The staff really cares about you and your stay. If was really nice. Check in is supposed to end at 1am, they stayed up late to check us in at almost 230am and were friendly! My husband and I stayed for 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The room not only met our expectations (we asked for a quiet room) but the stay exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, updated and quite. The bed was super comfortable. The price was very reasonable also. But what impressed us both was how important it seemed to be to the management that we were satisfied and comfortable. If I had more than two thumbs I would give them a 4 thumbs up. If there were any knights staying here in the late 60s when this ramshackle was built, they were probably not sponsored by any monarchs of stature, and in fact the only "king" who I can think of who might send his emissaries here on "crusades" (to scout new stores?) might be Paul, the King of Big Screen, of La Habra(lot). Though not a knight myself, I was permitted to stay here with my "steed" Rover, which cost me an extra $10, since I stated that he was a "medium sized" dog, even though he's not. I don't understand why I see a low score on this one. This is my 3rd visit and it's a perfect overnight stay. You can walk to Safeway just across the street. Also walk to bars, shops and restaurants in the downtown starts a couple hundred feet away. Close to train tracks and the street is noisy in the morning. 75 bucks including all taxes is cheap. This place is clean and we'll kept. I travel for business and have paid 3 and 4 times the price and got less. read more

This is a great little gem in Grants Pass. We booked through Hotels.com and everything went perfect. The staff is very friendly. They had us checked in within minutes of arrival. The room was very clean, the TV and all amenities worked perfectly. It was a great stay and we will stay here again when passing through. read more

I prefer to give 0 stars. We made a reservation for our son. On the phone we were told it was $79 a night. When my son went there he was charged $85 a night. He checked out but decided to stay a few more days. When he went back to the front desk he was told that there were no vacancies. So my husband (who has a accent) called and asked if there was a reason he couldn't stay there longer. He was told he was sorry but just like he told my son, there were no vacancies. So after a few minutes I tried to call (I am a white American woman). At first he started to tell me that I already spoke to your son (not sure why he came to that conclusion...I didn't tell him who I was). I told him I wasn't sure what he was saying. Then he asked me who the room was for. I said me. Then he told $90. Evidently they have no set price and are prejudice. So yeah if you are a white woman there's vacancies but you will pay a higher price. They also prefer to be paid in cash....hhhmmm. I wonder why? Seems like the internal revenue should check these guys out. read more

We stayed here for a week when we were looking for a house to buy. They had entered our room when we were gone one day. I noticed because something was out of place. I went to the office and asked why they came in our room. I received a vague answer to my question, and the topic changed. As we had not found a house yet, we asked if there was a weekly rate. No, there were no discounts given at that motel. We went and found a motel that did give weekly rates and we moved. As far as the room, it seemed clean enough. The towels were cheap and thin, smelled of Clorox so were probably disinfected. The beds were a bit hard for me as I like a little cushion. The owners didn't speak English clearly so was difficult to communicate with them. We won't stay there again, I don't like anyone going through my things. read more

This was for sure one of the most expensive and worst motels that I've stayed at. Not only did they double up the prices due to the fires (which is illegal) but the service was also horrible. It was about $400 for one night, so I suggest not staying there unless you want to spend all of your money. read more

After looking for something reasonable and centrally located, we ended up here. We were visiting family here and needed to be close by. The rates are very reasonable. AAA rates! The rooms are updated and comfy. Nice beds and pillows. Great air conditioning, and I love how they put a little stick/bar right there at the drapes to keep them from getting blown by the a/c. Excellent idea!!!! The shower was great. Nice new toilets and sink. Towels a bit scratchy but plenty of them! There's a little mini breakfast in lobby- coffee, juice, cereal, pastries, toast etc. The owners take very good care of the property and take pride in the motel. The good: Room was clean and the a/c worked well although there is no thermostat to have it go off at a specific temperature. There was a Safeway across the street which was convenient. The room had new flooring and a nice bathroom vanity. Despite its downtown location the room was quiet, The bad: By no stretch of the imagination could what they put out be called a breakfast Continental or otherwise. Just English muffins, some old looking cereal, orange juice that was barely colored water and some coffee in grungy looking coffee makers. No butter for the muffins.Some cheap wrapped processed "pastries" Luckily there is a Starbucks across the street in a Safeway to get some coffee. NO real place to walk your dog and a somewhat sketchy part of town. The owners seemed pleasant but we decided to cancel our return reservation. The room was impeccably clean and recently remodeled without carpet which makes it feel even cleaner. Comfy bed. Great location, there is a Safeway across the street and the old downtown area is right around the corner. Immediately upon entering the room, there was a giant cockroach on the floor; not pretty. I booked this hotel online for one night, as I needed a place close to my destination and cheap as well. I was worried about it being grungy for such a great price, but this could not have been further from the truth! This is so nice, clean, and has everything you need. No it's not a luxury hotel, but I appreciated the kindness of the gentleman that checked me in, food and entertainment suggestions, and honestly the room had just gotten NEW vinyl laminate flooring! They know that carpet can get gross fast, and it's so pretty and clean! The bathroom looked updated recently as well with nice tile floor and shower, along with granite counters. I had my expectations surpassed and would stay here again any day! I have paid more for much, much less! EDIT- I bumped them down to 4 stars only because the heater/AC is one that has to run all night, with no temp control to shut it off. This leaves you sweltering hot in the middle of the night even on a low setting in winter. There was lots of "nightlife" outside the room too, which the fan would cover up, if you didn't want to be woken at 3am tho. Ultimately, the nightlife is likely only because it's downtown, and just the norm for that area. read more

Very quite rooms for central location. The actual pride in ownership is evident-tile throughout baths instead of cheap fiberglass, bedspreads are quality and internerspeed is very fast. The motel 6 had horrible internet service for $5.00 per device $10 extra total and constant dropping. Found the beds very comfortable-and safeway is across the street. Almost the same price for 2 greatinternet connectons as Motel 6 which had no nterest in remedy situation. read more
