The property is in very goood codition, either fairly new or recently renovated. Check-in was easy, once we got a small glitch straightened out. Beds were surprisingly comfortable and the covering duvet was good. Maid service was quick and complete. The room was clean and nicely appointed. No problems with the TV controls. Breakfast was well stocked with hot and cold items, with an attendant on duty. The only negative: they supply shampoo and conditioner in convenient squeeze dispensers in the shower, but still supply silly little cakes of soap. Also, management should consider applying something to make the tub less slippery. read more

Would have given 3 stars if it wasn't for the last few minutes where I almost slipped and broke my neck. The walkways leading up to the parking lot were covered in ice and was slippery beyond belief - this is a law suit waiting to happen!! Besides this unfortunate ending the room was okay and pretty clean (even though I was skeptical about the other reviews). The hotel rooms are pet friendly but you have to pay $10 more a night to have them stay with you. They also try to scare you with "deep cleaning" fees if they detect and pet hair or smoke in the room. Breakfast was below subpar - gummy eggs, bagels, cereal the basic non continental breakfast. HOLES in the roof, missing shingles, weeds, broken sign, run down, no cars in the lot. As soon as I walked in to verify it's even open, I see the pool door blocked, it's completely empty. I booked it through Snap travel, called them twice. They told me the hotel had to agree to refund me, the hotel front desk person told me that snap travel had to refund me because they have not received any payment. I was taken advantage of -- false advertising online on all sites and sending me in circles. We were tired and just wanted to relax and swim. My two young kids were in the car, my son crying, all they wanted to do was swim since we couldn't keep driving to Colorado. THEN I later saw all the recent bad reviews about terrible quality, black mold, wet floors, filthy, lies, etc. My mistake trying to drive and also reserve a safe, affordable place for $100 online, trusting what I'm shown in amenities photos. Where do I begin? First of all, please check multiple sites for accurate reviews as many of the Google reviews appear to be fake. I'm not going to post a long-winded review, as the pictures can speak for themselves. I will add that after we checked in, we went out to eat. Upon entering the room an hour later and seeing how filthy it was, I immediately took some photos and went to the front desk. I was asked "why would I stay in the room for an hour if it was so filthy?" I explained loudly that we had gone out to eat. An alternative room was NOT offered. I was told that the manger would contact me in a few days. Hasn't happened yet, but enjoy the slide show. One last thing. Absolutely disgusting. There were stains all over the bed linens. Couldn't use the sink because it was leaking. Handle fell of the bathtub. Feces on the bathroom wall. Questionable, white substances on the bed skirt and top bedding. We went to the front desk to request a different room. The guy was very rude and told us they clean every day and there was no way what we were claiming was true. He did, eventually, give us a key to a different room. Thankfully, we checked out the new room before moving our stuff because it was just as filthy and stunk. We immediately gathered our belongings and took both room keys to the front desk and requested a refund. Again, the man at the desk said we were lying and it wasn't dirty but this time we had pictures to show him. After he saw the photos, he didn't say another word, just quietly issued the refund. There was a sign hanging on the front desk that said "no rooms available for tonight," but as he was issuing our refund, he removed the sign. I never thought my previous last-place stay could ever have a sequel, but yet here it is. As an elite-diamond choice member I stay in motels at least 4 nights a week - usually sticking with the brand. I made it clear in my reservations made Early about 2 things: I wanted the top floor, AND, Since I would be here the weekend that there must be working laundry facilities. When I arrived I was promptly told that the place was full so I had no choice as to the floor, but was told there was a laundry facility. After looking at my completely substandard room: no carpet so everything from every room around echos - blood stains on the heater - no working fan in the bathroom - hair in the sink - not mine - stained light shades, then I got to view the "laundry facilities" which mimicked Seinfeld's Cramer's attempt to put cement in the washer on their show - looked like one possible working unit out of 4 - the other had signs or standing black water in them. Regarding noise and security there is none. All of the outside doors have card readers but none that I saw worked. Staff argue and talk loudly in the halls in the day and evening thus making it difficult to concentrate if you are in the room studying, etc. The folder that normally contains local tv programming information and local eating establishments has nothing but a review sheet and a pen. The shower head looks to be an all metal - no adjustment - design out of the 60's and the water pressure is low. I thought that at least The stopped Sunday morning. The place should not be eligible to be an Econolodge - let alone a Quality. It is a poor excuse for a motel and should NEVER be allowed in the Choice program again. EVER! I know I would easily pay to use the local Comfort Motel next time I am here or just keep driving! read more

I booked a room for my niece who was traveling by herself from Colorado to Georgia. It was late at night when she arrived, and she just wanted to take a shower and sleep. There was No Running Water in the room. She was told there was no other room available. Very tired and very late, she addressed the problem with the front desk in the morning and was told her fee would be refunded. It has not been. Do NOT stay at this motel. We reserved a room for Monday night 5/27/19. We arrived at 2:45 PM. The motel is undergoing renovations, which is not the complaint. The room was not ready - missing towels, ice bucket & had incomplete repairs to the walls. My BIG complaint was when we checked out at 5:45 am this morning 5/28/19 the place charged us for 2 nights! Explanation was we were paying per day, not night. There was no sign at the desk saying you paid for 2 days if checked in before 3 PM, nor did the clerk say anything. I have stayed at several Quality Inn hotels and this, by far, was the worst. There were beetles everywhere inside the room. I ended up shaking out all my bags so as not to take any with me. The television was blurry on all channels. There was no sense in trying to watch anything as it made my eyes hurt. The exterior doors have no security access. Anyone could enter if they were a guest or not. The breakfast was seriously lacking for quality. The breads were dry and stale. I guess I should have looked on Yelp first. The shower had mold, bathroom ceiling had a hole where a light normally would be. The carpet hasn't been vacuumed since they dry walled the place and the corners were so gross they looked like they belonged in an abandoned mental institution. With the condition of the room I considered myself lucky to not have a dead hooker hiding under my mattress. After checking in I immediately called the choice line and got my points refunded then drove across the road and stayed at the newly renovated Motel 6 for half the price and an infinitely nicer and recently renovated room. Do not stay here. Staff is absolutely wonderful and completely attentive to your needs, however, rooms are run down and smells like fungus. We had to change rooms because the bathroom door was so warped it wouldn't open or close. Advertised free breakfast and numerous posters advertising breakfast, however, there is no breakfast. They had about 6 mini muffins and some bread for toast. When I inquired about breakfast was told 'manager would not let them go over $300 for breakfast food and they ran out. Booked room on Priceline prior to arriving last night. Room appeared to be remodeled, but rest of hotel was old and dated. Hall smelled of cigarettes and carpet very worn. First thing in room saw dead roach in bathroom and a live one climbing up wall. It scurried under the baseboard. My traveling companion wanted to leave but room was paid for and it was late. Decided to keep all luggage off the floor just in case. Last thing I want is to transport roaches home. Checked bed to make sure it was clean and went to sleep. Next morning went down to eat breakfast and saw roaches on the carpet in hallways. Another hotel guest stopped us and warned us of deplorable conditions when he saw us heading to breakfast area. He said that he had tried to get help from front desk clerk with no luck. He was on phone calling the hotel headquarters. We walked into breakfast room looked around and decided not to eat there due to what we had witnessed in our room and the hallway. While checking out I mentioned to the clerk that there were roaches in the room and hall and that it might be wise to call pest control. He did not even acknowledge my comment. This hotel is awful. The room and all over hotel is filthy. The hallway to the room had an awful smell, the bed was filthy, the bathroom fixtures were broken but at least there was hot water. The ice bucket was moldy, the bathroom was moldy and filthy including dirt and hair in the shower. The handle to the door didn't work almost trapping a family member in the bathroom. The key cards were blank and questionable and the outside door didn't even shut questioning the safety of the hotel. The "manager" was anything but friendly and there was hardly anyone at the front desk if needed. A pool and hot breakfast were advertised but when arriving we found out the pool was empty and there was no breakfast AT ALL, not even a hot cup of coffee. They claimed this is due to Covid but the letter stating why it was closed was obviously from 3 years ago with the date crossed out. The hotel was partially under construction if they are even working on it, which gave it a unclean and unsafe feeling. The air conditioner leaked and the floor had questionable stains and stickiness. I was traveling with my 3 granddaughters visiting family in Colby, and stayed at Quality Inn and Suites. After checking in we left our luggage in the car to check for bedbugs but found none. There was no carpet on the floor of our room. We were gone till after 10 PM. I noticed there was NO security lock on our door, it had been removed, the screw holes were still there and it wasn't painted. With 3 preteen girls that was unsettling. They took showers first so there was one towel left. When I got in the tub, it was filthy! Not from the girls, but from not being cleaned for how long? It was a buildup of grime! I cleaned it as best I could. When finished with my shower I dried off only to find short hairs all over my body. The more I wiped the more clung to my wet skin. I showered again. Took a picture of the towel then went to the front desk. I shook it out on the desk and told him I was very upset. He assured me I could talk with the manager in the morning. He brought A clean towel to our room. There were hairs in the bathroom and in the sink upon further investigation. Do NOT stay at this motel! Pay a little extra and go across the street, or to the next town! There is NO security on the entrance door from outside. There's a code card but you just push the door open from outside and you can get in without using your card. A piece of carpet or rug covers a huge hole at the side entrance as you go in. The place is filthy. I was waiting to talk with the guy before checking out and looked in the foyer at the huge chandelier, the pictures, everything is covered with dirt and grime! No offer to deduct anything off my bill. Only a promise that the manager would contact me. Never happened! read more
