Only reason there is no ants is because I took care of them

Clean rooms thoroughly prior to accepting guests in the room. I had to clean the bath tub prior to my cold/luke warm temperature bath on top of a $400 hold on card for one guest one night checking in for 11 hours

    bugs :(

Stayed here for a few nights and i wouldn't recommend anymore then 1 night here :/ my first night i went to brush my teeth and there were toothpaste stains already on the sink faucet which made me believe they don't do a great job cleaning. i looked at the mirrors and they looked dirty too. that same night i left my loofah on the bathtub faucet and when i woke up in the morning to shower there were ants alllll on it and in it i was disgusted it was a brand new loofah too. i seen an ant in the sink and when i opened the drawer by the mini fridge there had been two crumbs in it (which were not from me or any food i had eaten there) and seen a billionnnn ants in there. i also seen an earwig bug in the tub. i seen other reviews talking about bugs and how they've reported it and the hotel staff does not seem to care or do anything. i didn't report it or ask for any refunds because i had only been in the room to sleep but either way this is a dirty environment and just embarrassing for a hotel business. they need to take the proper measures to fix this bug problem and actually throughly clean their rooms. aside from that this place had potential i liked the breakfast, pool, and hot tub and the fact that it's near downtown but there are most definitely better hotels in that area. i stayed at the courtyard on my previous trip to walla now that's a place that deserves 5 stars !

When we were looking for a hotel in Walla Walla we didn't want anything expensive (since who really spends all that much time in a hotel?), but wanted to stay downtown, knowing we wouldn't have a car. Therefore, we found Quality Inn & Suites, which turned out to be an amazing stay and experience! Once we landed we called Quality Inn to see if they had shuttle service from the airport. Although they do not have a shuttle service, the friendly employee recommended two drivers and gave me their phone numbers. The driver we used was gratuity-based, so saved us money, had we chosen ride share. When we checked in the same friendly employee welcomed us and our check-in was fast and efficient. I wish I remembered his name, but our whole time here, he was the nicest person and we saw how helpful he was with all the guests. Our room was very nice! We had a king size bed, mini fridge, microwave, air conditioning, free wifi and HBO. The amenities for the hotel included a gym, pool, hot tub, outdoor grill, complimentary continental breakast, and they're dog-friendly at no additional charge! The location was also in downtown Walla Walla, so we were able to walk everywhere! We were also flying out for home on the last flight, so they happily let us check out an hour past noon, the normal check-out time, and held our luggage for us until we went to the airport. Quality Inn & Suites is an affordable hotel that has the basics and more. If you're looking for something fancy then this is not your cup of tea. But if you want something reasonable and comfortable, this is where to stay in downtown Walla Walla. We were very pleased with our stay here; it will definitely be our choice hotel for the next time we visit Walla Walla.

There are several hotels in this town if you need one. This is a first for me, coming into a town that I used to live in and needing a place to stay for the night. You'll find a comfortable bed at a reasonable cost with a location that is just off the freeway and a short distance from the downtown drag, if that's what you need. It isn't too far from the police station, so you can take that as either a positive or negative. When I stayed here, they were busy putting on a new roof. That didn't deter from my stay, but it might be why the great price.

Over the years Walla Walla has not been blessed with an over abundance of solid hotels. Since the tourist wine industry has evolved to the point where Walla Walla has become a destination, the number of hotel rooms has bloomed. This is a good example of a middle tier hotel with the usual amenities-swimming pool, exercise room, free breakfast, free parking, and walking distance to downtown. If you are in Walla Walla and you want a place to stay without spending an arm and a leg this hotel will probably suit your requirements.

Shower stool if needed (how great)!

Drove to the front where well landscaped and seems to be maintained on the outside of the Inn. Walking through the door smelled clean and fresh and well kept. This is always a positive to me. Coming in staff welcoming giving me my key card and seeming very personable and gave me easy to understand direction to where my room was located. Coming into the room, very clean and maintained. Nothing out of sorts or nothing that presents to me as if someone was not doing their job in cleaning the rooms. linens seemed fairly well tucked and both beds organized. No real damage that I can tell. Room was set to a comfortable temperature. Leaving to get dinner, I left my key card in the room... oops... but the attendant at the front was kind and shared she does it all the time normalizing the feeling of "I am that guy having to get another key card." Stay overall good... price reasonable. Location of food... within walking distance and within walking distance of a gas station for any snack-type needs.

Terrible customer service. I stay at a ton of hotels, and it's the worst checkout process I've ever seen.

Karrie, the owner, innkeeper extraordinaire, chef, driver, travel agent, and woman known about town, must have spent no fewer than 40 hours planning and taking care of us. She booked us in the LV suite with fine linens, pillows, towels, robes, and bath products surrounded by tasteful antiques and a balcony looking over some of her gardens. The quiet and romantic setting created a perfect getaway for us. We enjoyed breakfast on the front porch with fresh-pressed coffee, homemade local berry scones. In four wonderful days, Karrie introduced us to each of the 6 wine regions! Just off the plan in Walla Walla, we started in the Airport District. The GG is a short walk from the Downtown District where we dined each evening in a gastronomic delight of restaurants and flavors and wines of course. Karrie packed lunches for us with private reservations of some of the finest wineries. We experienced the regional "terroirs" of the Districts in the Westside, Southside, the Rocks of Milton-Freewater AVA in Oregon, and finally on the Westside before heading back to the airport. She privately engaged us with local artists and the winemakers with private tours. This may sound busy, but the experience was relaxing and memorable. Walla Walla is a must for wine lovers, but Karrie made all the difference in creating a tailor-made holiday for us Texans! Patrick Choosing to stay at the GG netted us a highly personalized first visit to Walla Walla. Karrie went to great lengths to ensure our experience was superiorly comfortable and she homed in on our preferences and desires to elevate and enhance our "jouissance" in delectable wines and exceptional dining experiences. The home, nestled on a shady tree-lined street, beckoned for strolls after breakfast or a quick walk to town to visit Walla Walla's finest shops. La vie est bonne! Lily

From our initial meeting with Kristin, the Sales and Event Manager, the process began smoothly with a tour of the venue and setting the date. She organized a wonderful food tasting at The Chef's Table, allowing us to sample and choose the ideal menu for the occasion. As the big day approached, Kristin met with us regularly to finalize important decisions, documenting every detail and providing thorough plans that included a precise schedule and room layouts for the wedding day. On the day itself, Kristin's support and organization was unwavering - starting with escorting the bride from the suite to the ceremony and ending with making sure there were snacks available for late-night dancers - she ensured everything went smoothly from start to finish. The whole team was friendly and performed excellently. We'd like to acknowledge the chefs, servers, bartenders, and everyone involved in preparing each room and the dance floor. The day exceeded our expectations, and everyone provided outstanding service. Thank you!

If you want to stay at a hotel with old world charm, MW is where it's at!!! The lobby is quite grand, and check-in was easy and looks like those old school hotels with cubbies for the hotel keys. There's even some Telephone booths right by the check-in counter. And it's dog friendly!!! I saw a few pooches during my short stay. My room was located in the West Wing - so the newer wing attached to the Conference Center, but they still kept the old world charm in the room with cool decorations. For whatever reason, I may have booked an ADA room, but that also means my bathroom was huge! And I didn't feel it compromised the size of the bedroom. Parking was free, it did have an overflow area close to the Conference Center. The staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Walla Walla is beautiful wine country but still very much a small town. There is not really a full service hotel here except for the Marcus Whitman which was sold out. After a bad pre arrival experience with the Courtyard by Marriott we chose the Hampton because it is pet friendly. It is a little farther from the action, about a seven minute drive to Main Street where most of the tasting rooms, shops and restaurants are, but you need to drive to most wineries and activities anyway so it is not a bad location at all. Service here was excellent. When my husband did not like the first room we were given they moved us to a suite and that was definitely the right call for the extra space with the dogs. They were also very responsive. We had an issue with our AC which is a must have in the summer and they stopped by a couple of times to make sure it was working right. That kind of follow up really stood out. This place is very dog friendly. The dogs got treats at check in and they were able to put us on the first floor near an exit for quick trips outside. There is even a huge off leash dog park right across the street which was a big bonus. It is newly renovated and feels fresh. The area seemed safe and we left our car in the open lot without any problems. The amenities include an outdoor pool, a nice fitness center which I used every day, and the classic Hampton breakfast that in my opinion is better than Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, or SpringHill Suites breakfasts. We stayed for a week, part work and part vacation, the days I had to work I had zero issues with wifi, and for a limited service property it really does have a full service feel. I would happily come back if I ever made the long drive to Walla Walla again, though that is a big if.

Due to the college move in timing, all the hotels and AirBnB rates were very high. Best Western was still the best deal among all the options. Therefore all the windows were blocked, which was fine since we were busy with moving anyways. Maybe due to the hot weather, this time we got so many flies. The flies came into our room, the breakfast room, and everywhere you can think of. If there were only a few flies, it wouldn't bother us much, but there were quite a few. We didn't have this issue when we were there in April. One more issue was that the internet WiFi service sucked this time. We barely could get connected, so we basically had to use our data. They told us that they were in the middle of changing the providers so hopefully the situation would improve once they complete the change.
