Room 307 had cockroaches. So we asked for another room. Room 309 was filthy. The refrigerator did not work. There was lollipop sticks in the corner. The walls were covered with grime. The comforter had blood stains on it. The bedspread had stains all over it. The room smelled like smoke. The staff was nice, but I would not recommend staying here. read more

We are visiting for an ice skating competition (location wise- this is PERFECT! Less an a mile from the rink and close to target and restaurants). Staff- the woman at check in was super friendly and accommodating when we asked for a late check out Cleanliness- in general, it appears cleaned. It just appears that they haven't maintained the hotel. The TV doesn't have a remote and half the screen is broken. Carpet is loose. Peeling ceilings. Musty smelling room (Room also has a non functioning dehumidifier in it). Room-we have a double queen room with a pull out couch. Pull out couch is only a twin. But this allows each teen kid to have their own bed while us parents have a bed. Works perfect for our situation. Overall- probably wouldn't stay here again with kids. My husband and I can rough it out. But the kids are hating the smell and it really isn't pleasant. read more

My wife and I arrived on the evening of April 29 and checked out within an hour due to the condition of the property. The hallway carpets were visibly dirty and severely worn. The lobby had a strong unpleasant odor upon arrival. Common areas showed heavy soiling throughout. Room lighting was well below any acceptable standard. The front desk associate was courteous and acknowledged our concerns, which was the only positive aspect of our visit. We could not stay. The condition of this property does not reflect what is advertised and falls well below the standard expected of any branded hotel. We would not return and cannot recommend this property to anyone. read more

Moldy bathroom. Moldy everywhere. Hasn't been cleaned. Dirty sheets. Vomit on side of bed. Dirty as hell. Never come here. Ac wasn't working originally and I had a decent room COMPARED TO THE NEW ONE THEY GAVE ME. Too many hazards for health. Who knows about all the stains on these sheets. Smells like secondhand smoke. read more

11/28-29/25 Quality Inn & Suites PA 780 We had to ask to switch rooms four (4) times! We usually do not stay in Quality Inns but were making last minute reservations on a holiday weekend. Everything was booked. We booked two connecting rooms. Room 204 was clean enough, but the smoke detector was missing with wire hanging out of wall, wall sockets had no covers, toilet paper dispenser was broken, and the bathroom ceiling was peeling so bad paint chips were coming down. Room 206 was not cleaned, clothes rack was hanging off the wall, and when we pulled the sheets back there were human hairs on the sheets. Room 208 looked cleaner but when we turned on the bathroom light which also controlled the fan, the fan was broken and made a racket so loud it was freaky. Room 208 was filthy and was not clean. Room 203 was clean enough but the toilet was leaking all over the bathroom floor. The staff acted like it was just another typical day. read more

I had to stay here for business for 2 nights. I was staying in room 132. For most of the night I heard banging on the ceiling, a woman screaming about money and her boyfriend threatening some guys over his girlfriend. A fight broke out and I heard were cuss words, things about prostitution and wanting to call the police. I went to the desk and complained and they said it didn't bother them but if I wanted them to call the police they would take my ID and call on my behalf. What an awful hotel! You take your life in your hands staying here! Never again! Obviously they are permitting a prostitution scam to be run our of this place. Stay away! read more

A few of my photos are not important such as scratched paint. However I booked this room because I had a specialist doctors appointment in the area. It was a more reasonable price than others and now I see why. Upon entering the room I instantly checked for clean bedding. Our room didn't have clean bedding. Some spots were stained, which I get but other spots had fresh dirt. In the coffee pot was a used coffee bag. In the mini fridge was someone's left over chicken wings. Above the bed was paint peeling from previous water damage. There was no smoke detector on the wall which is a safety risk. Also there wasn't any toilet paper stocked in the bathroom and the roll was almost empty. Definitely didn't seem like the room was cleaned or stocked. Was not happy about it & wouldn't recommend staying here. Put your money towards something better. read more

Gross doesn't even come close to how dirty our room was. After being in a car for 9 hrs with a 13 month old we were glad to hit our resting spot. That came to a screeching halt as soon as we entered the room. The smell of mold was so overpowering when we opened the door, I immediately asked if there was another room available, to be told they were sold out and were initially going to cancel our reservation. Sleeping in my car would have been better and cleaner! I went out and bought bleach cleaner and sprayed down the black spotted air conditioner. The bedding was covered in old stains. The toilet barely flushed. Carpet was frayed and pulling apart. The walls were splattered with who knows what. The bathroom floor had old hair, makeup and jelly smears. The tv remote had peeling tape holding it together, and still didn't have a back to keep the batteries in place. A free continental breakfast doesn't make up for the filth. When you're traveling the last thing you want to have to do is worry about the place you are staying. I would never recommend this facility. read more

I've stayed in way worse hotels. I've stayed in way better. The room was not clean. It wasn't total filth, but not clean. The walls were dirty. The room was painted and there are drips all over the floor in every area of the room. The towel bar was in the bathroom, broken off the wall. Instead of fixing it, but was just thrown on the bathroom floor behind the trash can. There was also a random pube in the tub along with other particles of dirt when I rinsed out the tub. The water also drained slow and the drain plug was broken. Light fixture by the door flickered constantly. The lamp shade was broken and was blinding me while I sat on the bed with the way it was tilted. The phone. Ewwww. Before we went to bed, yes, I checked to make sure the sheets were changed. I know staffing is an issue right now, but these rooms need to be properly cleaned. The desk people were nice. The breakfast was just standard quick serve fare, but was good. My back didn't feel like death in the morning, so the bed was good. Check out my pics!!! read more

This is not a place where I would recommend to stay! For some reason all the local hotels of higher quality were booked for miles around and location was important for a funeral attendance. Just look at attached photos for dirty phone, broken and stained lampshades, stained carpet at bedside, peeling surface to toilet seat, unsafe elevator entrance! The smoke detector kept beeps by and replacing the battery did not fix the issue! The only positive was the bed was comfortable and seemed clean! read more

Decent little hotel conveniently located on the outskirts of Pittsboygh right off the freeway. Here's the G,B&U Good: -Super cheap as we booked a room for ±$70 thru booking.com -Bed was actually pretty comfortable -Free WiFi that worked well -Fridge w/freezer, microwave and coffee pot -USB charging ports on the lamps -Continental breakfast -Check-in lady was friendly―albeit a bit bizarre... -AC worked almost too good -Shower was nice and hot w/ good water pressure The Bad: -Located next to train tracks so be prepared to be woken up at least twice at night by freight trains passing thru. -Rooms are tiny -A lot of the room was in disrepair, such as the shower curtain rod was barely hanging on by a thread -Paper-thin walls and doors The Ugly -The whole hotel had a funky odor and smelled of cigarettes Overall decent place for a great price. Would def recommend if someone is looking for somewhere comfortable and doesn't need a whole lot of frills. read more

My goal on this cross-country road trip was to find cheap lodging. This place was about $70 (without tax) on booking.com. It's in the middle of nowhere which is odd since we were supposedly on the outskirts of Pittsburgh. I missed the exit and had to go 7 miles to turn around. We couldn't believe there were no other exits around. But I digress... Everything in our room was falling apart and the doors (adjoining doors to the other room and hallway) had a big gap letting in noise. And lots of stale cigarette smoke throughout the building. However... *The bed was very comfortable. *The shower was nice and hot. *Every room has a microwave and fridge. Huge plus when you're traveling. *Free WiFi *Supposedly they have Showtime but we didn't even turn on the TV. *Breakfast included. Nothing special but some hot items, yogurt, bagels, fruit, etc. We're staying at another Quality Inn tonight so it will be interesting to compare. read more

rooms were smelly and not good. We didn't get the room we payed for and the AC doesn't work. The front desk was no help especially MOIRA. She had very bad attitude and blamed us if she landed in the hospital because they didn't have any rooms "cleaned" or "available". Very, Very bad. read more

This is my worst hotel stay ever! I stayed at other Quality Inns. None of them were this bad and that's why I booked it here. The photos oon hotel.com was nice and I didn't think it was a stretch because, like I said, I've stayed at different Quality Inns. So, I arrive at the hotel and this was the thinnest Quality Inn that I ever stayed at. But, okay! I proceed to the front desk. The lady was friendly. I got the keys and went to the room. .... I was speechless... Inside the door didn't have a hook to actually secure the door. So, I had to use the lock on the door where you manually turn the knob. As I step into the room, things were getting worse. The comforter had stains on it, the walls were dirty, there were mold on the toilet, the room stinked with cigarette stink and was giving me a headache, you could hear everything from the next room like, the people talking, toilet flushing, tv watching, etc. I was so tired from my flight and feeling a bit disgusting, but I really couldn't take a shower because nothing seemed to be clean in the room. Not only old building but horribly maintained! I was hoping I was just going to fall asleep from my exhausting trip, but I couldn't sleep because I Just didn't feel comfortable! I ended up sleeping fully clothed. This was the only time that I really contemplated if I should just go to another hotel! I didn't even have breakfast and rushed out the hotel. My worst nightmare, seriously! read more

Not a bad hotel to stay the night in. Rooms were a good size for one or two people. The rooms were clean, no sign of dirtiness. Front desk was nice and helpful. Not much of a breakfast selection. It's like 20 min from Pittsburgh so it isn't a bad spot to stay for the night. read more

Horrible horrible horrible place. Shower didn't drain. Refrigerator barley worked and the freezer part was filthy. Heating unit made a loud bang every time it kicked on, and while using the toilet a cockaroach crawled across the bathroom floor. Was told by the desk clerk, who was having a bitch session with the cleaning lady, that I would be issued a full refund. That didn't happen. terrible place read more

To start off the check in was great. They let us check in early due an early arrival, and Angie who checked us in was very helpful and friendly. But after that it all went down hill. After we took our stuff to the room we needed ice so there was a cleaning lady right outside our room door so I asked her where the ice machine is and with an attitude she responded "downstairs" I said ok well downstairs is big where at downstairs? She said Ugh, just go down those steps and it's right there. Ok well exxxcccuussee me for asking an employee where something is. Totally rude! And my girlfriend and I are in the service industry so we get it. Stuff gets tedious and rough but no need to treat guests with such disrespect. Then once we get back to the room and settle in we notice there is gross black stuff on the chairs and dirty marks all over the wall and the tub was absolutely filthy with dirt and grime all over the bottom of the tub. Then the complimentary breakfast was no bueno! Well the waffles were good but that's just because you have to make them yourself and then there was no syrup to even go with them. Then the scrambled eggs were rubbery and the sausage wasn't even cooked all the way through. Listen for me having to pay $90 some to spend a night there this was absolutely not worth it and I will never do it again nor will I recommend it to anyone I know!!! read more

This was our first time in Pittsburgh, and we were in town one night for a wedding. Highlights: - Clean. Checked the mattresses and there were no signs of bugs anywhere - Mini fridge and microwave in the room was a huge plus - 2pm check-in and 11am checkout-- way better than the normal 3pm/10am at other hotels - Cute decorations for harvest/Halloween in the main area - Affordable - Good location. Close to food/beer. Points to consider: - Everything is cramped. There isn't much extra room in the guest rooms. We had four people in a room with two queen beds, and we were climbing all over each other. This extends to the lobby; there is no real "lobby," entryway is immediately the breakfast buffet on your right (food not out, but the waffle maker, cereal dispenser, etc. we're out). You have to walk in between the tables and chairs to get to the front desk. - Very thin walls/doors. At 7am, our neighbors got up and got ready. I think someone was doing an intense hairstyle because they spent 45 minutes using the hairdryer provided by the hotel. They kept turning it on for 30-45 seconds, turning it off for a minute, then turning it back on for 30 seconds, off for a minute, and so on. We couldn't tune it out. We could hear them talking to each other and their shower running. We knocked on the door to get them to be quieter, but no response. - A tad aged; the comforters were a little yellow-y. - The front desk associates were a little uninformed. We used a third party booking service, which emailed us saying that we would pay the hotel (see picture), but then the staff told us that we already paid through the third party. We were splitting the cost, and the hotel was unable to produce a receipt of charges of any kind or any confirmation that our bill was paid. They kept referring us to the third party agency. Just made the cost splitting a little more difficult. read more

Quality Inn & Suites - Hotels Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

My wife and I were coming to PA to visit falling waters and most of the hotels were booked due to a football game. So we had to stay at Quality inn. First off it to 45 minutes or them to check us in. The lobby was filthy when we opened the door to our room the smell of mildew and water and filth almost knocked me on the floor. There was black mold growing on all the walls. It looked like pipe had burst and flooded the place. The bed sheets were dirty . This is literally the most disgusting hell hole that I have ever stayed in my life . This place should be shut down. read more

Easily the most disgusting experience I've ever had at a hotel and I travel for work. I arrived after a long work day at about 9 pm and was assigned room 125. When I entered the room I was hit with an overwhelming smell of urine. It seemed as though someone or an animal had urinated all over the carpets in the room. I ended up sleeping with a pillow over my face all night to try to lower the smell of the urine. I paid $169 for that experience and I wouldn't recommend it. read more

This is where my family and I spent out first night for our long road trip. We were pleasantly happy with our stay, although it was very short. There is complimentary, easy parking available and check in was a breeze. They provide on site breakfast (eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, coffee, etc). It wasn't amazing quality, but it gets the job done. The hotel is conveniently located by a target as well so we were able to buy some groceries for our road trip. The only thing that made me feel very awkward was the maid service. As I was having breakfast, I noticed all the maids (younger women maybe late 20s) were on their personal phone having conversations and also dressed unprofessionally. It did not bother our stay, but it was just awkward to see them dressed and act like they did, compared to other inns I have stayed in. read more

Not bad place to lay your head for the night. Clean comforting. Don't expect amazing but decent place.

This was absolutely one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. First they put us in a room right off the lobby. Slamming doors kept us up all night & people were yelling in the lobby starting at 6am. They moved us to a room down the hall which was quieter, but promptly at 6am we could still hear people yelling in the lobby. Additionally, the room had a broken lock and toilet paper holder & the bottom of the tub was brown with dirt. The staff was very nice, but poorly trained. "Someone new" had apparently put us in the room off the lobby. It was this same person who told us to not worry about the lock on the back door because it's always open. When I inquired as to the safety of the hotel if it's always open she didn't know how to answer. Also, on the first day I misplaced my key and when I went to the desk & asked for a replacement the woman there gave me a new one without asking for any ID. I will never stay here again and will possibly take Quality Inns off my list altogether. read more
