It's unfortunate because I had such a great experience last time, which is why I chose to stay at this location again in 2026 but I found it to be a far more "muted" experience this time. Upon check in, I was not greeted as a gold status member. I was not offered a welcome snack like last time. The peloton in my room was missing hand weights, which I specifically was looking forward to using. The bathroom tub had hair from either from housekeeping or the previous guest. I ended up calling the front desk late one night because of a significant noise disturbance from the room below me. The staff member did not initiate/offer looking into the noise complaint until I specifically asked them to - that was disappointing. I had hoped they would take more initiative to "make things right." Because the bar was set so high last time, I found these combination of events disappointing and unfortunately dampened my impression of this location.

It was never fixed so we took cold showers for 5 days. Also the shower water backed up and I personally had to remove the grate and scrape a wad of hair and grossness with a coffee stirrer. And the soap bottle was not refilled so we ran out, and i had to go to the desk again. Lastly they short sheet the beds. Not happy.

It's common to see large nicks and scuffs on the walls and furniture in the room. The former breakfast buffet offering is long gone - now replaced with a much pricier a la carte option. The hotel shuttle to/from the airport is no longer an amenity. The large gym is a highlight as it's often empty so you get it all to yourself. Equipment is rather old but operational and good enough. The real value is having Parker John's bbq right next door because their food is A+. So while the Cambria has become a bit lackluster and dated, at least you can enjoy a really good meal close by.

I did not wake up on time to try their morning breakfast that ends at 9 am. I did frequent the coffee available down stairs in the lobby each day. The coffee was decent and hit the spot for my morning caffeine fix. The room was lovely. The bed was comfy with lots of pillows. I also like the large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in the shower. The room had a small fridge, coffee maker, and purchasable large bottles of water ($4 each). Overall my stay was pleasant. The only thing I did not like was my housekeeping came while the Do Not Disturb sign was on my door. I was there for a short stay and I fid not need fresh towels or my bed made but they did it anyways.

The free hot breakfast is always a perk, and the kids absolutely LOVE the locations with a waterslide. The room was clean, but there were some dirty marks on the wall and in the tub. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows are a little too much like rocks. Service was excellent. It was still a good place to call "home" for 2 nights. We'll definitely be back!

Very terse, short, provided minimal information about the hotel, I had to ask basic questions about pool, breakfast, etc. Sad to see the quality of hotels in the country go down like this, and poor customer service.

We had all of the comforts of home: a fireplace, a fridge, a gigantic bed, a large en-suite bathroom, and a huge jacuzzi bathtub (big enough for the two of us to enjoy together!). Breakfast was served at our requested time and we enjoyed it both in our room an in the dining room with other guests, depending on the day. De Ann is an absolutely fantastic cook; her breakfasts aren't to be missed. While we didn't spend much time in it, there is a lovely back garden with a screened in gazebo, a bubbling fountain, and yard games for your enjoyment. The Roost is conveniently located close to Neenah, downtown Appleton, and about 30 minutes south of Green Bay. There's even a lovely house dog, Zada, who was very excited to greet us and give us all the kisses we could ask for. We will most certainly be back and are recommending Roost Bed & Breakfast to every single person we've met, both in Wisconsin and elsewhere. If you're thinking about visiting, please do--it is absolutely incredible and a 5 star experience!

The condo was beautiful, except for the scary clown artwork. The condo seems to be a new build, with great appliances. The beds were comfortable and the condo was clean. Communication with Simple Life was good. I received several emails with instructions for check in, garbage service, and check out. The condo is centrally located in Door County. The indoor pool is nice but they seemed to be making improvements to the outdoor pool, which was closed. It claimed to have a fitness center but it only had 4 pieces of equipment. The only negative things I can say about the condo was that is wasn't stocked with many necessities. I would suggest bringing your own towels. We were given 6 for 7 people. We couldn't find any dish towels. They had plenty of dinnerware but the coffee cups were tiny( more like espresso cups, so bring your own). There is a limited amount of serving dishes. We were given two dishwasher pods and laundry pods( once again, bring your own) and one roll of paper towels. There's no Kleenex provided. So while the place is lovely, just know that you will have to bring in some items. And the previous guests left there garbage in the garage. I communicated this to Simple Life and they responded immediately. I didn't want to be blamed for that. Overall, this is a clean, comfortable, centrally located condo. We would stay again and use Simple Life in the future.
