Checked in with the family. Went to the room to get swimsuits on. Headed down to the pool only to be told the chemical/pH levels were off and the pool was closed. But a pool is why we booked a room at your hotel, I told the receptionist. If I'd known, I would've booked a room across the street at Baymont by Wyndham. As apologetic as she was, the receptionist knew I wasn't asking for "I'm sorry's," I was asking for a pool to entertain my family during a long road trip. Even knowing that "expectation is the root of all heartache" doesn't soothe the seethe. We still had to pay for services unrendered. read more

This place was bad. So bad that there was a sign in the breakfast area asking people to limit what they drink and eat. Generic off brand sodas with misleading name brand vending labels at a premium price. Says Dasani but you get Walmart water and you pay over 2.00 dollars!. read more

For hotels under $100, this is absolutely the place to stay! It's very clean and quiet. The hotel staff is very friendly and they dug out one of their last rooms for me (or at least lied and made me feel special). I slept from 9:30 to 7:00 without being woken once by any noises. That's almost unheard of in a crowded hotel, so clearly the rooms are super-quiet and the beds are super-comfortable. Everything worked in the rooms except there was one hole where an outlet should be in the left side headboard of my bed. Maybe only 2-person rooms get two headboard outlets... I made do. There's a pool here, and then in the morning there is an expansive breakfast with many hot selections. People, seriously! What is up with your 1 star reviews? I know that this isn't TripAdvisor, but you'd think a few real Yelpers would have stayed here by now! ... Tom D.? Totally calling you out here. Superb from service through stay. One of the worst hotels i've visited in my life. Disgusting even, horrible service and staff. Needs new owners!

They are currently in the swing of remodeling. We got a remodeled room but it wasn't too clean. The floor was messy and everything was dusty. The beds were clean but the shower had dust and other things in it. Otherwise, it was kind of clean, maybe 7.5? We will not stay here again but if you need to it's fine. read more

DON'T DO IT! I thought maybe the reviews were just people being over the top picky but listen to the reviews. We asked if they had a pool and hot tub area and the front desk guy said yes and said the pool was heated. We were traveling with 3 kiddos and they wanted a pool and hot tub after being cooped up in the car. Go to the pool area after getting settled in and literally temperature dropped 10-15 degrees from the lobby to the pool area and the water was FREEZING! Hot tub was disgusting and only had about a foot of water I. The bottom and it was filling the room with a dragnet smell. I went back to change into a hoodie and sweats to watch them swim. They shivered the whole time but they really wanted to swim they had looked forward to it for the 4 hour drive. Also they didn't have light on in the pool area and just lights from the pool and shinning in the windows. Really dark, never been to a hotel that doesn't keep their pool area well lit especially at night. Had we not had 3 tired kids and already unloaded everything and got settled in we woulda got back in the car and kept driving. The fitness room equipment was gross! Ceilings are cracked and particles keep falling, I'm assuming when someone walks above. Tub had hairs in it and black mold. I had to clean the tub with clorox wipes before even getting a QUICK shower (thankfully I happened to have them in the car ONLY because it's flu season). I didn't even let the kids shower there I made them wait. The TV kept freezing and getting blurry so that was a fun time with the kids at night. Heater worked for a bit then quit then after messing with it finally got it to work some more but for the most part we froze all night. When asking for an extra blanket we were given a sheet. Breakfast was terrible the only thing that looked edible was the cereal but we just went up the road instead. WiFi was slower than dial up which is a question asked before booking and we were told WiFi was good, so my husband was not able to do any of his work while there. Center door from back parking lot does not lock. You could open it right up with out a key card, super safe. If I could give negative stars I would, but if I had to pick something for the one star to be it would be the fact that the water was at least hot, so maybe that helped kill any bacteria I missed while cleaning the tub. This is THE WORST hotel we have ever been to and we are always traveling. I will never be at another one of these ever again. Sad part is the pool area is pretty cool and has potential to be nice. Save having a terrible experience and go somewhere else. Thanks for reminding us why we usually only stay at Hamptons. There is a hampton in the same area but unfortunately it was booked. There are many things I can handle when it comes to hotels. But an uncomfortable rock hard bed that's tilted so my body is at an angle and the blood rushes to my head is not one of those things. Awful awful bed. Other than the bed there is just nothing impressive about the room. The carpet is outdated and gross, chipped paint, and didn't even consider using the shower as the tub was black. The floor in the hallway on the 2nd floor seemed to dip in places which is kinda of scary. I also felt like it wasn't all that safe. The rates may be low but it's just not worth it. read more

Just nothing to be impressed by. The price was low and that set the stage for what this place is like. However, I've been more let down with a hotel. I may never come back to this place, but it's not a one star hotel! Check in was slow as there was only person at the front desk and three people ahead of me - amazing that many people picked this place! The room was ok but lacked anything new or even updated. The wardrobe was a but broken, the paint was a bit old and cracked, the chair should have been donated to Goodwill and the floor needs to be replaced, but the bed and the bedding was clean! The pool was ice cold and there was no hot tub, but based on the cleanliness of the pool water - I wouldn't have used a hot tub in this hotel even if they had one. The pool area also lacked proper size towels and any type of decor. Seven chairs and three little tables and a bunch of what I call hand towels. I'm not sure about breakfast here, but there is a Bob Evans right out front. Good news is that they do offer free coffee in the lobby and if you forgot any necessities they have them available for free! BTW - security also sucks - the pool door to the outside and the car wash in the back is always left open - anyone could gain access to this place! read more

Upon entering the hotel smelled like a strong air freshener or carpet deodorizer. It was so strong that my son and I developed sneezing, coughing, and nasal congestion. The rooms are only ok. The carpets are gross! The staff is super friendly but that doesn't help with the allergy we developed during our two night stay. I wouldn't come back to this hotel unless I had zero other options. read more

I am a very frequent stayer at Choice Hotels. 2 stays away from Diamond status. The one thing that I demand from a hotel is that if I am told something, I will be able to believe it. I had made a reservation for 1 night and decided that I wanted to stay over another night. I went to the front desk and asked if I could get the same rate as last night. The very nice lady at the front desk told me I could and that I should check when I checked out to make sure I had received the same rate and if not, they would be glad to adjust it. At check out a less than nice lady told me that the rate for the second night was $15 more and that they could not adjust the price. I told them what the lady the day before had told me and she said that didn't make any difference that was the company policy. I'm a senior and am traveling the US and have stayed 38 nights at Choice hotels and was planning on using them exclusively for my pilgrimage. However, if that is the way I'm going to be treated, then I am definitely changing my hotel preference. Do not stay at this hotel and if you do, do not believe anything they tell you. read more

The sign says new management. New management needs to get busy. Room keys stop working, no plugs for phones etc. Loose tiles in bathroom floor. Slow, ucky drain. The staff didn't even wipe off the sink. I'm not impressed at all. read more

This place is a mess! Hallways reek of smoke and our room smells like mildew. We've had to keep our window open the whole time. You can't plug anything into the outlets because it just falls out. I have to hold the plug while I dry my hair. Ridiculous! read more

I really like this hotel but find it needs a face lift. My room had a squeaky bed with the lining ripped underneath. One of the drapes was off the hook and the vent in the bathroom was halfway on the wall with only two screws attached out of four. It is a quiet hotel and the breakfast is consistent each day. The front desk service varied by day. Two of the employees were on a cigarette break and reeked when they came out front to help the customers. If you are planning on staying here again be sure to sign up for the Choice awards program to earn points at Quality Inn hotels. read more

I was just there the evening of May 21, 2016..THANK GOODNESS ONLY ONE NIGHT...and came home with bed bugs....which has led to a real nightmare of cleaning, spraying, vacuuming, and washing....I took along a pillow from my home and two days later.....covered in bites all over my body! The owner, Anish Shah has not returned a single e-mail or reimbursed my for the chemicals and all of the bedding I had to throw away. If you are in room 207...beware!! I would NOT recommend this hotel!!!! read more
