Great Service, great quality and Value! Craig and his team are honest and very respectful!

I hired them to change the AC at my house. Craig dropped off two interns and left for the day. They rushed the job in every possible way. Left debris all over the place, threw away their trash in dark places of the attic. They installed one of the copper pipes in the middle of the way ... so if you're walking through you have to bend over. I had them fix that and other things. The job was done to leave the house as soon as possible. Not to do it right. After the installation the outside unit was making noise. I reached out to Craig. To this day I have not heard back from him. Do not hire these people. They will leave your house worse than they find it, and once you make full payment you're on your own. Shame on you, Craig. Your crew is a joke. How can you still be in business? read more

had a problem with my furnace and called one of the big "Grass Valley air and heating" companies. they came out and spent over 2 1/2 hours working on my unit. They installed an expensive part and did other work on my ducting that I never authorized them to do. the bill was over $400 and in the morning the heater wasn't fixed. they would'nt come and look at it unless I paid them again. called Craig and he diagnosed the problem over the phone. He made time to come over the very next day and fixed it in about 20 minutes. It turned out to be something the other company never even thought about looking at. A plugged up drain in the condensation unit... Big thanks to Craig. Great guy and a man to be trusted. read more

In 2013, Quality Heating & Cooling installed a new Heating unit and a new AC unit in our newly remodeled house in Lake Wildwood. In Feb 2020, the heater unit failed. I had Quality Heating & Cooling come out to take a look. Quality Heating & Cooling recommended installation of a brand new Heater unit and offered to give me a quote for a new unit as they said this heater unit was un-repairable. No mention of Warranty work or standing by their installation done only 7 years ago. Quality Heating & Cooling said the cause of the failure was due to the unit burning out from lack of propane- which turned out not to be true. Apparently this unit was installed by the owner's Father who was "no longer part of the business" and both units are also out of warranty. Turns out, Quality Heating and Cooling originally installed a Heater unit in my house in 2013 that was manufactured in Jul 2008. (see pic) unit The AC that was installed in 2013 was manufactured in 2010. When I brought this up Quality Heating & Cooling had no answer to how this could even be possible to install units that were already 5 and 3 years old... (and partially through their Warranty) Well, the heater WAS able to be repaired. It did NOT need replacing as Quality Heating & Cooling had recommended. I had the Heater unit successfully repaired by different HVAC company at a reasonable cost. I would caution anyone using Quality Heating and Cooling to make sure you check around before you go with them and look twice at the manufacturing dates on any units they are installing and how they back up their installations. I had a terrible, expensive experience with this company. I will not call on them again. read more

A big heating and cooling outfit in the area told me my furnace couldn't be fixed and gave me a quote on a new furnace. I called Craig to see how much he would charge for a new furnace. He told me my furnace could be fixed and explained the two parts necessary. The two parts were expensive but not nearly as expensive as a new furnace! Quality Heating and Cooling charged us $99 to come out and diagnose our mini-split air conditioner system. They seemed to have little knowledge, or experience on these systems. They called the manufacturer for tech support without success. I provided the contact info I had from the manufacturer. I was steered into purchasing a very expensive part that did not resolve the issue. I called another HVAC contractor in GV who fixed the system within 20 minutes of arriving at the house. Not sure if a contractor should be accepting work and charging for systems they cannot diagnose, or fix! read more
