Singing The Praises of All Phase Heating and Air Conditioning ! I scheduled the required five year deep clean and maintenance on my Fujitsu air unit. All Phase sent out a new hire technician who thoroughly acted it up. He ruined the main circuit boards and damaged the closet door that was right below the unit with excess water. Anyway, the unit was broken. I called All Phase this morning and they sent out their best guy, Chris, who worked here all afternoon. He purchased a floor air conditioner for Hill Top, so I can remain comfortable until the replacement parts arrive. All Phase is refunding me the maintenance fee, paying for the parts, and replacing my damaged door. Full apologies and no questions asked....BTW the new technician has been let go. It's going to cost All Ohase over a thousand dollars to get it all back in order. Just want everyone to know that the company had someone out first thing and stood behind their work. We were having triple digit heat and were in real need of service. I called at 1:04 pm on Tuesday and had the technicians show up at 1 pm that Thursday! We have had two contracts with All Phase. They installed a mini-split heat pump system in our guest house. Fair price and pristine installation. Also, they came today to troubleshoot a noisy HVAC motor. It is an old-fashioned electric motor with unsealed bearings. After inspection the tech determined that all that was needed was oil lubrication of the motor bearings. Another contractor wanted over $10,000 to pull the unit and repair. Brad arrived to give us an estimate. He took considerable time looking at our old units and when finished handed the paperwork to us, then and there. My husband and I looked at it, looked at each other, and without hesitation accepted All Phase's offer for two new furnaces and two AC units. The installation crew arrived in approximately one week. The technicians took great care while working in our home and were respectful at all times. Not to mention friendly, considerate and obviously very competent at their job. My husband is an engineer, machinist and lifelong do-it-yourselfer. He built his own home, from bottom to top, before I met him. This is the first time he hired someone else to do the job. We both were very impressed by the quality of the workmanship. They could have used some of the old sheet metal and insulation, but decided to replace it all. The final result was excellent, and beautiful, I might add! One of the old furnaces had failed during cold weather and we were concerned being without heat for an extended time. But, they got the job done very quickly. The new installation was completed in 2 1/2 days. They're good people and the service people are on top of their game. I've been very happy with the HVAC system they installed for me 7 1/2 years ago. However at start of the triple digit heatwave, they could not get to me for 2 weeks plus. I wish they would have told me they had Saturday techs available when I originally called the week before so I wouldn't have have sweltered for an extra week. I wouldn't have minded paying extra for Saturday work under those circumstances. But having waited that extra week I'm not feeling so good about it. I had you in for preventative maintenance in May, 2020. Can you apply the 15% repair discount you show in your website? I listed four stars but maybe kind of four star minus (3.8) because I sweltered for a week and I have health issues. read more

We had our annual furnace inspection in November 2021 and our furnace and AC were declared dead. We had several companies come out to take a look at the system and give us a replacement quote. All of the companies that came out were credible, but after speaking with a friend who installs HVAC in another state we decided on the Bryant system installed by All Phase. The technician did an excellent job of checking our system over and identified that we might have a leak. The office kept us informed of arrival time and scheduled a revisit to see if they can find any leakage using a bluelight with the previously injected dye. He did find one connection that was slightly loose which he tightened. So far a positive job. read more

The air conditioner in my parent's house stopped working and I was able to make an appointment to meet with a technician on a day that I was in town. He arrived exactly at the stated time. I explained what I thought might be wrong. He said "Let's take a look" and did a few tests. When I told him that the unit had been covered and possibly turned on with the cover on, he located a button to restart the air conditioner and it started up. He checked the freon and said it was slightly low but the cost to fill up such an old unit wasn't really worth the cost. Just charged me a service charge and we have been good since. Will definitely use All Phase again for any heating or air conditioning needs. Great service! read more

After recently moving to Nevada County from San Francisco, we were thrilled to enjoy our first summer in the foothills and bask in the heat of the days. What we weren't ready for were relentless scorching nuclear rays that decimate all carbon-based material from June-August and parts of September. In a nutshell, we weren't ready for the heat! But we had a monster A/C unit in the house which would definitely keep us comfortable, right? Wrong. For starters, our AC unit is medium-sized and serves our home of roughly 3,300 square feet. It functions normally, was built installed in 2014, and for all intents and purposes is OK. When it kicks on, our property experiences a dramatic home-dimming draw of electricity before banging on to loudly forcing air all over the place. It sends dust flying and ensures to suck all of the animal hair and dust near the intake vents to clog the air filter and send throughout the rest of the home. At roughly 33 amps, it's either ON or OFF and when it's ON it's absolutely decimating our wallets, consuming nearly 7kw per hour. During the day at $0.47/kwh, the AC unit alone costs us over $3/hr to run. Want to stay cool all afternoon and into the evening? That'll be $20/day, please! Even when we were hyper-conservative with our use, we still had electric bills over $600. WTF. What's worse is that the HVAC blew cold air wonderfully near the main ducts close to the unit, but as one travels to the further reaches of the home, the air piddles out of the registers and only a faint temperature difference can be noticed. On most nights, our master bedroom remained over 80 degrees inside, without the ability to do more than move air around from a space fan. So we were paying to cool air ducts and unoccupied rooms. And for all the loss. The LOWEST our home was able to reach in the hot summer days was around 82 degrees. That's with all cylinders firing on the HVAC unit... After two months of this nonsense, being uncomfortable/angry, and sweating through our sheets each night, we decided to call All Phase Electric on a recommendation from Precision Electric (Thanks Rachael!). It was probably the best call we have made in 2018 and remains so to this day! Brad came over and assessed our situation within days, and was able to recommend an expandable system within weeks. In addition to the temperature difference being night/day, we no longer had earth-shattering kicks form the AC unit and flurries of blustery air all over the house. The units now maintain constant temperatures in each zone and run quietly. In terms of electrical load and efficiency, these things are a sea change from our old forced air system. Our current system is a three-zone setup which services 5 rooms but helps with other surrounding ones without the wall units. We've got some medium-sized units in the bedrooms and a larger unit in the common area connecting our kitchen, dining, and living rooms. The new system **actually cools and heats the home*** and the condenser outside runs much quieter than our old system, even at full blast. But most times of the day, the fan runs so quietly I don't hear it unless I'm outside and near it. The rooms each run very quietly as well. Which is great for young sleeping children. It also runs by zone and doesn't rely on one thermostat in the hallway. Each zone maintains itself and can "connect" with other zones simply by opening doors to rooms/bathrooms that aren't serviced directly by wall units. And through all this, the system is 100% electric. No propane, no natural gas. This means that when heating our home, we're not paying $1.50+ in propane to heat the house. Which means our tank lasts longer and doesn't need to be filled during the peak winter season (with peak prices). The electrical consumption? Incredibly low. Whereas our old system would run at ~7.9kw - ~9.5kw when cooling and ~1.8kw when heating, the new system averages ~800w - ~2.5kw for both. And when it runs like that, it runs for under 5min. Our old HVAC could take 15-45min to set the temperature for one cycle. Then, minutes later, it'd kick back on again for another 15-45 min! Never again... Clearly, these things have changed the way we look at HVAC systems and the fact that they're all-electric allows us to directly benefit from solar, home battery storage, and better overall efficiency (and comfort!). We had an outstanding bill with All Phase and there was a mix up as to should be paying the bill, the landlord or us. Then we had a propane smell. I was very concerned about it and call All Phase. They refused to come out because of the unpaid bill. I was shocked that a safety issue was ignored. They have always be great before. Maybe it was someone new who answered the phone. We have been a customer of theirs for over 10 years. With that being said, I cannot provide a great review as requested. The issue did turn out to be our propane ran out which was discovered by Suburban, who quickly pay attention to our call.
