The only reason we couldn't do mobile repair was due to our specific vehicle type requiring recalibration for the safety features on the dash/glass (cameras, auto cruise control, etc.) but that was explained before scheduling. Communication was great throughout the day of repair, both through phone call and their mobile website tracking. The glass repair cost was comparable to other places we checked before going with insurance. We contacted several automotive glass repair places in the DSM area and no one was willing to repair the chip. Glass Doctor said "Sure bring it on in!" We drove an hour there and they explained that because it was the original windshield in the car, which obviously was an antique, there was always the chance that the glass could shatter while repairing it.
