Then cue my frustrating insurance company wanting their own people to do inspection/estimate, which ended up being about a hundred less than what Joe had said. The claims adjuster made things sound really complicated when I called to tell her the prices didn't match; so I called Auto Top back for help. Lyle was reassuring on the phone and then again when I went in person to show my insurance paperwork and make an appointment/deposit. They offered to call and deal with the insurance people... thank you! It gets better! My school schedule is hard to plan around and I had some other commitments to complicate things, but they set me up for the VERY NEXT DAY. Lyle gave me a ride home after I dropped of my car at 8am and offered to come back for me at the end of the day. Very courteous. The show room at Earl's is very large with what seems like a million wheels and tires to chose from. Of course the guys here can look up and get anything that they can find online. After only a few minuets we found the style of wheels that I wanted, but I was not sure of tires. Luckily there were a few examples already mounted outside in the parking lot. My driver had to remind them to secure the wires that were left hanging and to reseal the roof which was still leaking after they had fixed. They also had to re-do the door which they claimed it had been fixed. I spoke with the owner who became defensive and threatened to undo all the repairs and refund my money. Additionally, he gave me a hand- written receipt which does not contain his business name. I have reached out to him twice and he still hasn't submitted the receipt. Moreover, owner used very unprofessional language and was disrespectful. He eventually apologized and blamed " the heat of the moment"
