The staff was patient with me, answered all my questions, and never pressured me once. They helped me find something that actually fit my budget instead of trying to upsell me. I left feeling relieved, grateful, and honestly happy with the whole experience. Seeing those harsh reviews shocked me, because nothing about my visit felt anything like that. I would say stick to the nicer used car dealerships in the area that have gurantees and warrantys built into the sale. United Auto Group does not for a reason. There has been so many things wrong with the vehicle I bought from them, and the engine went out after a month. I am in a lot of debt now. But mostly I should have stuck to my gut and moved on from the purchase. The truck had been sitting there for 10 months and could not sold. They had an excuse for everything. This dealership beat the sales price of other Kia dealerships in the area by thousands. They were…read moregenerally good to deal with. I love my new car and am glad i bought it. The only snag was that I was supposed to receive a $300 refund after purchase and didn't get it for 6 weeks ( i had to wait 5 days or so after purchasing to get the color combination I wanted delivered to the dealership.) It took multiple conversations with the dealership to receive the funds. I was originally promised that it would be ready to pick up when I came to get the license plates-it wasn't. Then, more than one person over multiple weeks told me that the check was going to be signed on Wed and mailed to me. That didn't happen the first few times they said it either. No one ever said they weren't going to give it to me, so I don't know if they are super inefficient or were hoping I would forget about it. Eventually, my husband called and they sent the check out within a week. I would have been happy to refer them to others up until the sale closed. At this point, I would say go ahead and purchase from them but don't expect them to do anything they promise after the sale closes. It was not a huge amount relative to the purchase price of the car but it is always disappointing to me when a business doesn't follow through on what they promise.

The purchase was smooth, my trade in offer was fair, and he didn't pressure me into any extras. I noticed a few days after I bought the car that the tires were very close to needing replaced. My bad for not checking before purchase, but I reached out to the dealership and they replaced them immediately, even picked up the car and dropped it back off at my house for me to do so. Todd also hand delivered my plates and offered to put them on for me when they came in, as I live along his commute. Overall a really great experience, I always worry about buying a car, I hate haggling, I hate being pressured, etc etc but they made it super easy and painless!

My transmission was brought up and I flat out asked the guy if I needed to replace my transmission. He said no. I got the car inspected before moving from Lynnwood to Chicago. I made sure that everything was good to go for my +2,000 mile drive. He ensured me that it was. I am now stranded in Montana because my transmission isn't working. Took it to a shop here and was told that I needed a new transmission and where I am it could take weeks. I need to be in Chicago on the 3rd. I spent around $2,000 for nothing. Now I will have to spend around $8k for a new transmission and I will not make it to Chicago in time to claim my apartment and get my belongings from the movers. This has added a significant expense on this already expensive trip. I am furious and will be calling tomorrow for a partial refund. I would have put things off and replaced my transmission before leaving. I asked him if I should replace it and was told no. I have NEVER had such a terrible experience with a car in my life and I have driven some old crumby cars. DO NOT BEING YOUR CAR HERE The owner will respond and say That I just took it for an inspection and nothing was said about my transmission, and that's a lie. This owner can claim whatever he wants since it wasn't put on to paper.
