We had an extremely aggressive timeline and needed to close in just two weeks. Not only did he and his team prioritize my file to get it done without delaying the closing date by even a single day, they did so while securing a rate that was substantially better than anything else I was offered (if not the best). Throughout the entire process (and I did not make it easy!) Terry remained extremely responsive at all hours of the day, patient, kind and able to keep the process moving forward without creating any additional stress for me despite multiple hurdles. As a first-time buyer, I had plenty of questions and there were a lot of moving pieces, but he was always available, straightforward, and extremely patient when explaining what needed to happen and making sure I had the best outcome for my needs. His team including Cynthia and Aline were equally impressive, organized, proactive, and consistently ahead of deadlines. Buying a home can be overwhelming, especially on a compressed timeline, but Terry and his team executed flawlessly and they deserve recognition for it. They delivered exactly what they promised, secured an outstanding rate, and got us to the closing table on time. I would recommend Terry and PHM Loans to anyone without hesitation. Thank you all, again!

During document collection, my co-signer's name was written as a completely different name and when I alerted the mortgage consultant to this, they did not even double check and insisted that they used the name that was on the submitted documents. I can understand that typos happen, but this careless mistake and more importantly their response to it made me have very little faith in those working on my loan. Ultimately, other careless mistakes led to last minute issues ON the day of closing and my closing almost did not happen because of the negligence demonstrated by the individuals working on my loan. I do NOT recommend Guaranteed Rate.

Redfin has been a terrible experience for me. My real estate agent, Patricia Amman in Falls Church,…read moreVA, was extremely unhelpful. She often sent trainees to show me houses instead of assisting me herself. I both sold and bought a house through her, but she provided little guidance on preparing my home for sale and often had a dismissive attitude. My ex even chose not to work with her for that reason. When I purchased my current home, she advised me to offer as much as I could without properly investigating the property. She later sent another new agent to complete the inspection after I had already agreed to buy. As a result, I ended up with a 20-year-old HVAC system and water heater -- issues I wasn't made aware of -- and I significantly overpaid for the house. When I posted an honest review about my experience, Redfin blocked me and told me I could no longer use their services. That's fine -- I wouldn't use them again anyway. I lost a lot of money through this process, and I believe Redfin and this agent acted unprofessionally and without integrity.

The services they offer are top notch 2. They represent you; when they say if you buy and sell with us, you get a refund, they mean it! So our goal was to move from Germantown, a big house, to a smaller house. We worked with our agent, and we were able to sell our house (5 days) and get our new house (a little longer, we are picky)! Let's start with our Agent. Colette Releford. We have dogs, and they are very important to us. Colette walked into our house for the first we are going on the market soon to meet; our dogs loved her! 1. She listened to what we wanted 2. She was patient and worked as our sales and purchase representative. 3. Full service? On the day of our closing, Colette drove to our old house and took a load of stuff to the new house. I mean, that is Full-Service. So I will end with this we highly recommend RedFIN! They are awesome. But if you are in the Maryland area and need a Realtor why not go with the best Colette rocks!
