Terrible business to deal with. Originally they seemed like they were going to be awesome, but…read morethen it was a fiasco. We were sharing fence with neighbor, so they stated her a price and us a price, and told us to pay our neighbor the other half of her cost for shared piece. Then they called neighbor and said they would come out Monday at 8am to start, so she told me they were starting and I was excited, cuz that meant mine would be 3-4 days later. Then Monday morning at 8am, they were knocking on MY door and I asked why they were starting with mine as they told my neighbor they'd start there!? They said that is what there order stated. I said OK, the neighbor went along - but she had purposely taken that day off to be there and would NOT be able to be there in 3 days when they started on hers since she started a new job. They finished up my fence in 3 days and I was questioning if it's truly 6"-1' inside our property on one side as we requested. We were told it is!? Then they started on the neighbors and I happened to see them measuring in a place where there wasn't fence to be and I asked what they were doing. They said that is where neighbor wanted fence. I said I don't want to talk for her, but she told me a different area, you may want to check with her first or start on the other side. They must have reached her because when I returned it was moved to correct area. Upon completion of both fences, I had paid in full and neighbor had not - they complained that they had misquoted and we both owed about $1000 more and we disagreed. During this entire process we called and called and texted repeatedly to no avail, reaching Mollie or anyone else in the "office" at Metro. So, when they said we owed, we were floored. Then, we asked them to fix the gaps in our pickets and the gates, they sent someone to fix gate, but NEVER have sent anyone to fix our pickets. Ben finally returned my call one day and said, "the gaps aren't that bad" and "someone did fix your gate", but I said, "Had I not already paid in full, you would have come out as you did with the neighbor, but now that I paid in full, you ignore me!?" Dan, possibly the owner, called and left a VM to tell me someone would be out this week, but it's Wednesday and haven't heard or seen anyone. I would recommend finding an alternate company if you need a vinyl fence.

Will not honor worksmanship warranty. Within the first 30 minutes of the install job last year,…read morethe two installers were drilling for one of the posts nearly a foot across the property line on the lot next door. They appeared to have never done a fencing job before who had no idea what they were doing. The back portion installed along the lake had probably 9-10" of clearance, which our dog could have gone under...and was a safety concern for our children. During installation, a few areas of our irrigation system had been damaged, and they said it wouldn't be a problem and would come out to repair it. The owner Danny came out to see where the areas were. While he was at the house for that, I pointed out an area of the fence that was installed, as it was rocking back and forth when the wind would blow. When the storm came through in October 2016, what do you know; those same posts gave in and fell over due to the wind. Not one other area of our fence had an issue during the storm. When I called Metro Fence, they came out and wanted $1,000 to fix four posts replace 2-3 pickets, and adjust the gate. Since there was a storm, they wouldn't honor my original complaint because it was conveniently never documented before the storm, so they blamed it on that. They were then real quick to ask for my credit card number if I wanted them to order the supplies for repair though! From that point on, any contact with them was through texting, so I would have documentation. After already wasting $4,000 on a terrible installation job, we didn't have another $1,000. A couple of months ago, I contacted them again because I was still fuming about what a terrible job had been done. After a couple of days of hearing nothing back, I messaged the owner's daughter again to see if they had received my message. She said she had and she was under the impression that her dad had called and talked to me, yet after a week later, I still hadn't heard anything directly from him. Finally on February 25, 2017, he called and said he would be out two or three days later. A few days later, I texted him to confirm and he told me he now had bronchitis and it'd be yet another few days. So on Friday morning, March 3, 2017, I texted him and asked if he'd be able to come by. About an hour later he showed up at the door. After pointing out to him where my issue was, he asked if I had a shovel since he was in the company car and didn't have his supplies. I grabbed two shovels, and said I'd like to be careful not to destroy the sod so I could put it back down afterwards. After digging down and seeing the problem, his explanation was that since I asked if they'd stay 6" inside of the property line, (which I said "I'd like to if possible" by the way), that's what they did. But what happened is that they started coming in contact with irrigation pipe. So instead of rerouting the pipe around the posts with a few simple pvc joints and glue, they sawed off half of post under the ground and only one side of the post remained. The fence rocks so badly to that side because so much of the support under ground is completely gone. When he showed me this, I asked him "then why didn't one of the guys come up to my door and explain to me what the issue was and how I'd like to proceed?" Better yet, I'd like to know why it wasn't just done right? If I had to pay for the pipe and glue, I would have...probably $15 for materials. Danny (the owner need I mind you) then got an attitude with me and said "you can't have your cake and eat it too," and that I "just want something for free," both of which were in a sharp/rude tone. He then stormed off to his car, left my house, and I never heard from him again. The fact of the matter is that he had already gotten $4,000 from me...far from "free." What they claim to be a "worksmanship warranty" is a joke...as they refuse to fix the issue after not properly installing the fence from day one, after being called for cutting corners. This guy is an absolute shyster, and I wouldn't recommend that my worst enemy use them!
