Contractor ghosted me in November 2025. There goes my life time warranty! I was able to pass inspection so room is usable but not cosmetically finished. Punch list he promised to do, I have to hire another contractor to complete. He closed his business in the middle of my project. Day after I found out he closed his business, I had a stress induced heart attack and have been hospitalized 12 times since. They installed our enclosed sunroom in June 2025. It leaks when there's a heavy rain. Although they've come 3 times to caulk at base, it still leaks. Cass did not show or call when scheduled to look at it in October, and has not responded to subsequent calls or our October 14 letter. Jimmy and Rob no longer work for the company. We've had to use wet vac to vacuum water and removed the furniture and rug, and have to check it whenever it rains. We have blankets and wet vac in the sunroom at the ready. Hopefully there isn't mold. The warranty seems useless since they are not responsive. I worry about water once hurricane season starts! We can't enjoy the sunroom. read more

I hired East Coast Enclosures, LLC to complete a project at my home. The job started in March 2025 and was supposed to be finished much sooner, but it is now December 2025 and the work is still incomplete. I called the office many times and constantly got the runaround. I reached out to the owner, Cass Lowrie, several times, left multiple voicemails, and sent emails, but never received a return call. I even went to their office in July and spoke with the office manager, Nicole Cosenza, who assured me the project would be completed, but nothing ever moved forward. Their phone number now appears to be disconnected, and I am not sure if the company is still operating. To make matters worse, one of the windows they installed is still cracked, and I have no way to contact anyone to fix it. Hired East Coast to install a screen room in Sept, 2025. After multiple times postponing us I learn that he has filed for bankruptcy!! And I am out $17,000+. BEWARE!! He sounded so legit, giving a copy of his Contractors license, copy of insurance, drawings of room, etc. I know he was having health issues with his son, and I feel sorry about that but he STOLE my money. Absolutely the worst in trying to repair anything from East Coast. Constant excuses and will not honor their warranty. Do not use them. Others have complained about them. I should have know better. read more

East Coast Enclosures built a glass sun room under my existing roof. Work started a day later than expected unrelated to weather. Workers arrived early afternoon on day 2 to commence with build but encountered a 2+ hour delay because they showed up without materials. Once work got going, Jerry and Josh were extremely courteous and customer focused in addressing my questions and concerns. Dealings with Jimmy Farr were favorable throughout the process. However, I did encounter an issue with construction that was not resolved. One transom was noticeably lower than the other transoms so I asked for solutions to rectify although it received final approval by the city inspector. Jerry stopped out the next morning after final city inspection. He discussed two labor intensive reconstructive options, which I was wary would lead to more issues. I told Jerry I would forego remediation efforts but asked for an allowance adjustment off the final payment. Jerry agreed to follow with Jimmy Farr and get back to me. Approximately 15 minutes later, I received a call from Cass Lowrie asking if he could stop over to view and resolve the issue and upon my telling him that I was on my way out in 10-15 minutes, he immediately responded that my final payment was late and that he was going to put a lien on my house. Needless to say, I was blindsided and shocked by his tone and response. Initially, I thought there was a misunderstanding as he had no interactions directly with me so I attempted to explain my position, but he remained steadfast with his threats and intimidation. That said, I reluctantly made the final payment in full and now have to live with their construction flaw, which seems unfair to me as a customer. In conclusion, be careful in contract dealings and make sure final payment is based on final 'customer' inspection to ensure complete satisfaction. read more
