We recently worked with Servando on a full kitchen remodel, and I can confidently say he is the…read morebest contractor I've ever worked with. Our project was extensive--he handled moving utilities, prepping for cabinets and countertops, installing appliances and new lighting, relocating a large kitchen window, drywall, and installing brand new engineered hardwood flooring. He also retiled our fireplace, built a new mudroom, and relocated our laundry room with new machine installs. Every aspect of his work was top-notch. I work with vendors and contractors all the time in my profession, and Servando was by far one of the easiest and most professional people I've worked with. He communicated clearly and effectively throughout the entire project, was always on time, and kept the worksite extremely clean and organized. One thing I especially appreciated was that if I gave him information or directions that didn't seem quite right, he wouldn't just blindly move forward--he would ask thoughtful questions to make sure we were making the best decision possible. That level of communication and attention to detail made a huge difference and really helped ensure the project came out perfectly. Another thing that stood out was how honest and straightforward he was with pricing. There were no surprise change orders, no ballooning costs, and no unexpected price increases that we weren't aware of ahead of time. If something was going to cost more, he clearly communicated it upfront and explained why. It was incredibly refreshing to work with someone who made us feel like he genuinely cared about the project instead of trying to take advantage of it financially. Any time we had questions or minor concerns, he stayed calm, listened, and worked with us to come up with the best solution. His pricing was extremely fair, especially considering the quality of work. In fact, the only regret I have is not awarding him the cabinets and countertops portion of the job. We went with a cheaper bid from another company to save a couple thousand dollars, and it turned into a nightmare. Servando was the complete opposite experience. If you want a contractor who will do things right the first time, stay on schedule, communicate well, and deliver high-quality results, Servando is your guy. I highly recommend him for any project. Aldo (Carrillo Granite) came highly recommended from Bedrosians Tile & Stone, where we purchased our granite and quartz slabs. We purchased a beautiful piece of granite that had this amazing blueish natural pattern running through it. We had a vision for what we wanted for our kitchen island and Aldo beautifully fabricated the granite, using the natural pattern as the focus. Aldo met us at the granite shop to look at the granite, met us in Truckee to take measurements and then fabricated the granite and quartz for installation. Aldo was always responsive from the first phone call and even after completion when we had a question. He kept all appointments, great communication and just overall wonderful to work with. We highly recommend Aldo (Carrillo Granite) and will share his information with anyone needing counter fabrication and installation. We are so happy and absolutely love our counters. Thank You!!

We ran into an issue with one of the vanity with 6" apron. He creatively came up a solution and tirelessly carried the stone piece back to his shop to refinish. They were not clear with how our counter would be installed. It was badly cut and badly arranged…read more The son Ryan did a poor job measuring our area for the counter and he never informed us we could use their software to correctly arrange our slabs for our kitchen counter and backsplash so that they would match and look seamless. The slabs do not match and have a poor continuity. One of the seams between the slabs, because of the poor cuts/measurements, is large enough to fit a coin between the two slabs. This particular seam is the backsplash behind my stove so not easily hidden. Their solution, rather than using a new slab, was to just add extra caulk. When we expressed our concerns to the father owner Steve, his response was to tell us they had been in business for years and did the Governor's house years ago. Perhaps they would have done a good job for us if I was the Governor, but instead they did less than adequate work. Also, they did not put the hours for the sink faucets in the place where we wanted them. They did not ask for instruction on where to place the holes, even though we were in the house when they were making them. I had to have them come to our house several times to correctly caulk the seams. The technician did a sort of ok job. But the counters were never installed to our satisfaction. When we voiced our concerns Steve and Ryan simply dismissed us and our concerns. My husban
