Yes, I am picky, but when you promise to do something, you should not only do it, but do it well. Example of other cleaners... windows are usually always cleaned, but the screens aren't cleaned well or the sills are still dirty (and yes, they were included in the others pricing). All Purpose Window Cleaning actually wet cleans your sills, so they were actually cleaned.. not wiped or brushed dirt off. They did not take my screen outside and wet clean them with a hose, but they did use the same tools they use for the windows to wipe them with a cleaning product and thoroughly wiped the sides so they weren't grimy anymore. The guys were personable and courteous and wore booties throughout the house too! Yes, they are insured and provided the certificate upon request as well. All of this and they were significantly less money that other companies quoted this year. I will not only highly recommend them, but I will use them again next year... a first for any window cleaner I've had.

I was a little disappointed that attention to detail wasn't more of a focus. There were several areas that were still dusty and not fully cleaned. I had to go around and double check everything was properly deep cleaned. I do understand that checking is part of the 100% guarantee, but I wish I didn't have to ask them to go back and re clean some areas For $600 worth of cleaning (including rug and chair)...I shouldn't have to follow people around after they are done to ensure everything was thoroughly cleaned. Fortunately, the company I hired had no problem doing my job on a Friday when I contacted them the previous Monday. That owner actually called me the same day as when I contacted her and Holistic Home here on Yelp. It worked out, because they did a fabulous job and I would definitely use them again (see my stellar 5-star review, above). I would also point out if you look at Holistic Home's other reviews, you'll see that customer service appears to be a recurring problem. She likes to be nasty to people on Yelp--it's a habit for her. I've been a customer of Olga's for several years now for a biweekly house cleaning, and I can't…read morerecommend them enough. They're reliable, they do a great job every time, and they're always willing to work around me and my family (including that I work from home). To me, the whole point of having house cleaners is to free up time and eliminate stress, and hiring Olga's has definitely done that. Before Olga's I've used or trialled at least half a dozen cleaners in Philadelphia. Full disclosure, Olga's was one of the most expensive services per hour, but worth it IMO. My main complaint with other cleaners is that the quality of the cleans goes down over time and management is ineffective or defensive about it, and so after a year or two I have to shop for a new cleaner. Not so with Olga's. Every clean is as good as the last. If something isn't done with way I like or I want to add a new service, I just send a text and it's taken care of. I hope they stay in business for a long time because it's such a relief to know that my house will just be taken care of. The other thing is how comfortable I feel with Olga's cleaners. That's a wierd thing to say, but it can be kind of scary to have strangers come into your home and clean up after you. Part of it is shame that your house is dirty and you're not keeping up with it, and part of it trusting the cleaners with your home. The cleaners from Olga's have always been super friendly and nice, they've never made me feel weird or bad about my home (including the explosion of toys and clutter after my daughter came along). Over the years, I've left jewelry or cash around and I've never had to worry. It's just been a great find and a happy working relationship.

From the start, Olga was quick to respond and easy to communicate with, which made scheduling seamless. The team arrived on time and immediately got to work, moving efficiently while still being incredibly thorough. They cleaned areas that are often skipped, including baseboards, trim, and hard-to-reach corners, and treated the home with real care. I also have a cat, so pet hair and stray litter can be a challenge, but they handled it without issue. Floors, corners, and high-traffic areas looked noticeably better, and the space felt truly clean--not just surface-level tidy. They worked steadily the entire time they were at my home. Olga actually called me with an updated quote after the team felt more time was needed to finish the job. Communication was appreciated and given the thorough effort and quality of their teamwork, pricing is fair. For anyone in Wilmington, DE, Olga's Cleaning Services is a fantastic choice. Professional, responsive, and extremely thorough--I'll definitely be using them again.
