I really don't think I'll be doing laundry at my mom's anymore when I can just come here and relax and get my 4-5 weekly loads done within an hour!! Washes are a little pricey but worth it! Free dryers on the bottom row!! (That makes up for the pricey washes ). Thank you very much Laundromat of Downey! So clean and convenient!! So easy!! Also, forgot to mention, if you don't have cash to pay for your washes, you can scan the QR codes & pay via Apple Pay or Google pay etc. yay!!! I'll be back next week! Thank you! (:

Terrible customer service. I put in exactly $7.00, which was the amount required for machine #44,…read morebut the machine stopped at $0.25. I asked my dad for an extra dollar in quarters, then added 3 more quarters, but the machine still wouldn't budge. I called one of the employees over for help, and right from the start, she approached me with an annoyed attitude, asking, "What's wrong?" I explained that the machine had taken my quarters, but she looked at the machine and told me it was missing a quarter, as if I didn't understand what I was doing. She asked if I had an extra quarter, and I said yes. She put it in, and the machine finally worked. She then said that it "just needed an extra quarter." I tried explaining to her that I had already put in exactly $7.00, and the only reason I had additional quarters was because I had asked my dad for an extra dollar in quarters. However, she completely dismissed what I was saying and kept insisting that the machine just needed another dollar. The issue wasn't just the machine malfunctioning; it was the employee's unprofessional attitude and unwillingness to listen to my concerns. Instead of acknowledging the problem or trying to understand what had happened, she made me feel as though I was being treated like I didn't know what I was talking about. On top of that, she is always wearing earphones, even while speaking to customers, which comes across as unprofessional and disrespectful. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. I understand that machines can malfunction, but customers deserve to be treated with patience, respect, and professionalism. I hope management addresses both the machine issue and the customer service, because this experience was completely unacceptable.

The place looked fairly clean for it being open for 24 hours! The staff was great and welcomed me when I walked in the door. I actually had time to study here and grub on a few, tasty tamales that were being sold streetside. There aren't any outlets, so come with a charged phone if you plan on staying for awhile. I've had great experiences here and hope that this business continues to stand for many years. It'll definitely help out those in need looking for a place to do laundry at any time of the day!

Where you put the soap at are disgusting with old buildup soap from other peoples soap because they aren't clean. This laundry mat needs to get closed down!!!!!! The bathroom are dirty. No soap and no lock so anyone can walk in at anytime! It's disgusting since a lot of homeless come in here. Also, your clothes will not smell good. They will smell like mold wet clothes that's been sitting for days. The dryers also suck they turn off after 5 seconds of turning them on so you have to watch your dryers to make sure they actually dry!! Also some dont heat so you also have to be checking to make sure they dry. My clothes has to be double washed because all it does is put out soapy water when it's in rinse because of all the buildup soap! 11 bucks for a big machine!!! Now having to do double will cost 22 dollars just to wash out the soap!!! You are better off going to the laundry mat down the street from here on 92nd and central ave!!!! There should be no excuse for how dirty this coin laundry is the one down the street is very clean! Either hire people that will do their job right or close for good!!!!

I don't mind the price of $90 for pickup/drop off laundry, but the constant texting back and forth, the handling, and basic customer service was really unprofessional. I acknowledge that the confirmation email went to the wrong address, but it should not have taken over two weeks to get my mother's laundry back. When finding out what went wrong, the whole transaction wasn't handled professionally. After two weeks, my mom's laundry was dropped off in front of her apartment door. No phone call, no attempt to reach her or me. At least they took a picture and texted it to me proving delivery. Thankfully, no one took it. When things go wrong in business, you bend over backwards to fix it. I didn't see this happening, just excuses and no solution. I realize that mistakes happen. But the frequent texting, delay in delivery, making excuses, a week delay in payment (you should let customers know about different/faster payment options than PayPal), then dropping them off outside a front door without communication is unacceptable.
