Jose is here to fix the mess the plumbers left, and it was quite a mess. Jose is very creative and doing a good job! At first he wasn't sure he would be able to fix it, but he did!! The plumbers left holes all around the walk in shower they installed, they obviously can't measure. I can't add more than two photos apparently, so one before and one after. Different sections of the same wall. Just to the right of the handrail. read more

I would avoid this business at all cost. I gave it a good review, but I had some issues couple weeks later with the cracking the ceiling reappearing, and after numerous calls, they continued to fail to appear to rectify the problem, although they kept saying they would, had to hire another group. Worst customer service and workmanship. Stay away. read more

We had a positive experience with Quality Ceiling Refinishing. Anthony returned our initial phone call to office promptly. He arrived on time for our estimate appointment. He was pleasance & professional. He explained the process for popcorn removal, knock down application and painting. He told us what would be done to protect carpet and large pieces of furniture we did not have to remove the rooms. Randy arrived on time to do the work on the scheduled day. He was professional and friendly. He answered all my husband's questions. He did great work retaping all the ceiling seams and fixing all the problem areas. We would highly recommend Quality Ceiling Refinishing for your popcorn removal. read more

Everything about this company was great! The popcorn removal and knock down was finished in record time. Miguel and Eddie were very professional and polite. read more

The owner Anthony is a nice, pleasant guy but Randy who worked on our popcorn ceiling removal and repair was consistently rude and condescending. Each time he came back to our house to work on the repairs, he complained and even no-showed twice. The company offers a year warranty for anything that goes wrong. Unfortunately, our issues are still ongoing and no solution has been found, so the warranty means nothing. I wouldn't waste your time or money on this company. read more

We had our popcorn ceiling replaced and with a knock down ceiling, the crew that was sent did a very poor job, it was in my opinion sloppy, rushed, and no attention to detail. We called Anthony and complained he sent one person to fix the problem areas. He did what he could and fixed the problem in two rooms. We were told the company would reach out to us to do finish the other three rooms. No one called, we called Anthony again and told us he would send out a crew to finish the other rooms on and set up a date for the work to be done on the May 23. We waited all day and no one showed up. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I had my popcorn ceiling repainted and wall texturizing on several walls that needed minor repairs. David and Eddie showed up right on time and started prepping and David reviewed the job with me in a walk thru. All details I was concerned about were addressed and the job turned out fine. They both were knowledgeable and fast and I would recommend them. read more

Tom and his assistant did a great job repairing my leak damaged ceiling. My biggest concern was if the "stomp" ceiling pattern could be matched to the original work. Tom knows his craft; no one will be able to tell where the damage was, once the old and new sections are painted. Don't expect skilled profesionals to move your belongings, or hang around for the paint to dry so they can re-attach your light fixtures and you won't be disappointed. read more

Quality Ceiling Refinishing - a crack in the wall - General Contractors Near Me - Port Richey, Florida

Good quality workmanship, fast workers. Four stars because we were told 8:00 am and they didn't show up until 11:30. No notification at all. The other 2 days they were on time. read more

Great job. Very clean and fast! Appreciate Tom and company for doing such a wonderful job. Would highly recommend.

I wanted him to see the job his C Team did day after but no show or call. Sent same team to fix it by having to redo the entire ceiling a few days later. Did not finish, was to come back another 2 times appointment was scheduled and no show. We had to finish the area and repaint entire ceiling from all they missed twice. Wanted us to reschedule a third time but I'm not waiting another day for them to not show up and do not want the same team again. Still sanding walls from their mess. My biggest regret was paying them in cash and tipping the team on first day. read more

Tom and Juan did a very professional job. I appreciated that they listened and worked with me and the job was beautiful. Thanks guys!

Very expensive. Offered a 5% VETERAN DISCOUNT after it was all paid for and I still haven't got that. 5% what a joke, thank you veterans.

PSA for everyone. DO NOT go with Quality Ceiling Refinishing, Inc. Their "vice-president" Anthony is not a man of his word and you cannot trust anything he tells you. He failed to prepare us for the popcorn removal and then ended up charging us approximately $300 extra because the job took longer than it should have. Could completely been avoided if he had helped us prepare properly. To add insult to injury, the crew did not re-install 4 can lights in our 16 foot ceilings. I understand that it is in the fine print that they do not re-install lights, but, again, it would have been good to know that we would have to go to the depot, rent a ladder, somehow wrangle it to our house and into the living room, and take my 63 year-old self to the top of the ladder to replace the lights. I would gladly have given the crew $50 to do it for me, but I wasn't even aware that the $7000+ we paid didn't cover that service. Repeat: stay away from "Quality" Ceiling Refinishing. I feel sorry for the crew, because they did a good job, but I cannot and will not recommend this company to anyone. read more

These guys are great! Anthony was very personable and honest. If he thought they couldn't do it, he would tell us, and refer us to someone who could. His guys showed when they told me they would, every morning, and were very patient with our many dogs! Extremely respectful, and kept me involved if they ran into any issues. They had a challenge with our walls and ceilings because of the way they were put in when our house was built. But they fixed the blemishes- and the new ceiling and our bigger room is amazing! Thanks guys! We will definitely be referring Quality! Rick & Connie read more

We had popcorn ceiling removed and knockdown paint/finish completed in a 1,000 sq ft condo, Job was completed 10/16/2021. The good: they showed up on time and did a good job on most ceiling areas. The rest: they placed our tv and other furniture items on the back porch and then hung the plastic to avoid making a mess on the walls and floor. But.. they left the back slider unlocked and tv and all other items outside on the back porch (only screened in and not protected in any other way) when leaving after day 1. I called the manager after realizing that the place was left unlocked and he had the techs call me back who ended up screaming at me over the phone. I called the manager back and he replaced the one tech who did the yelling for day 2. Nothing was really resolved. They were gone for the day and I just crossed my fingers that nothing was taken off the back porch. The techs that came out initially said that they would not be resurfacing inside closets until I referenced the estimate received, as I did not want ceilings incomplete/not matching. They did all but one and said since the air conditioner is in there, they definitely would not do that. Edges had some popcorn remaining. Very negative experience and would not recommend. read more

Matt did a great job! Very professional! He cleaned up well and we are very pleased with the results. I would def recommend these guys.

Quality Ceiling did a terrible job repairing a ceiling crack in my living room. They attempted the repair three times and each time did damage to other areas in my home. The crack is still visible and I now have spray paint on my front door, railings and balusters, damage to my railing where the paint hose wore a divot in it, and primer stains on my driveway, I was promised that the damage to my front door, railing, balusters and driveway would be repaired but almost 6 months later I am still waiting for these items to be repaired. We are both seniors, my husband a veteran and we feel like we were misled and cheated out of our hard earned money. read more

Horrible work, lack professionalism by the workers and owner. Integrity and quality work is evidently not part of this company's core values. NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY. First time out: The workers sent to complete the work did not do what was agreed to by the owner, Anthony Pesce. Mr. Pesce did come to see the completed job and sent them back out again after he spoke to me in an offensive bullying tone. Second time out: The ceiling was completed at the most basic level of satisfaction. He told me I could not paint my own ceiliing (their product stunk! And I see another review that said the customer could have picked up their own paint at Sherwin Williams!?!) When I went outside to move my vehicle (a Lexus) back into my driveway, IT WAS COVERED IN KNOCKDOWN MATERIAL! Apparently there was a malfunction which his workers failed to share with me and neither did Mr. Pesce until I called him. His employees left quickly and did not complete a 2nd part of the job Anthony agreed to, nor did they mention they got stuff all over my car. Mr. Pesce, agreed to cover the cost of the detailing plus some. That was 4 weeks ago. NO REIMBURSEMENT WAS EVER RECEIVED. Beware! read more

Well Anthony delivered the paint this morning. Still yelling told me I could have went to Sherman Williams. He didn't appreciate my review. His crew did a great job. Attention to detail. Excellent clean up. I understand his business very well. I did marketing for contractors for years. He has good people when we had them two years ago. Customer satisfaction and customer service is what makes businesses successful. I recommend but do not appreciate the way I was spoken to this morning. read more

hired to remove popcorn in a townhouse, showed up 4 days later than supposed too. took off doors, removed lights, removed ceiling fan blades, removed blinds, removed shower curtains. When they were done did not put doors back on, did not put blinds up, did not put ceiling fan blades back on did not put up shower curtains. threw everything in a bath tub and did not cover it. Looked like a jailbreak, paid him too early, promised he'd come back, did not come back or return my phone calls. total lack of professionalism, character and integrity. read more

Hiring Quality Ceiling Refinishing to remove our old popcorn ceilings was the best decision EVER! This company is TOP NOTCH! The attention to detail, professionalism, and excellence are all on full display in the beautiful ceilings we now have. Our crew, Ray, Matthew and Roy were exceptionally skilled and took much pride in going above and beyond to do an exceptional job!! The owner, Anthony, is wonderful and guarantees all work for one one year. Lisa in scheduling is also outstanding and goes the extra mile, making sure our expectations were exceeded! You cannot go wrong hiring Quality Ceiling Refinishing!! HIGHLY recommend and if I could give 10 Stars I would! read more

What a fantastic company! I unfortunately suffered a roof leak overnight with Elsa and called Quality Ceiling Refinishing this morning. The receptionist could not have been more kind, professional, and caring to my inquiry. Anthony called me shortly afterwards and asked to send him some pictures of what was going on. It appeared to be nothing major and he gave me some solutions. I asked kindly if he wouldn't mind coming in person, and without hesitation or question, he said absolutely. After arriving during the time frame given as promised, he looked at everything and reassured me that from what he could tell, no work needed to be done, and if anything changed to call him back. Once again, he gave me some solutions and what to watch for. With the challenges of finding qualified and "honest" professionals these days, I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them for any business. If anything changes with my drywall, I will be calling them back for sure. Highly recommend. read more

This is an update on a review I left last month. Shortly after my ceiling was done I begin noticing small rust spots in the ceiling of one of the rooms. The rust apparently is coming from the metal corner bead used to create the angles in the ceiling. I called Anthony and left a message informing him of the spots. No return call so after several days I called him once again. This time he answered and told me he'd call me the following Monday and get somebody out to address the problem. No further calls from Anthony so I called and left him a message. Nothing! Called him again and left another message. Still nothing!!! I'm not sure what a year's warranty is for if you aren't going to respond to a customer's calls. I do not recommend this company! Apparently he is anxious to take your money but that's it! Customer service stinks!!! Stay away!!! read more

Work was good. To bad nothing in my house was covered up like Anthony said it would be. I will being cleaning my hose for years to come. Very disappointed Anthony..Very...... I have a film all over every thing in my home.. God Bless you Anthony... One day it will be your turn. I must say the receptionist was very nice. read more

I am still so angry about the way this company handled my business. I had to have my living room and garage ceilings fixed. The living room was completed very well but when the crew went into my garage they said that there was too much stuff to move so I promised that I would clean it all out before I called them to return to complete the project. Anthony did tell the workers to let me know that they were taking $500 off because they had to come back. When they came back to finish the garage I was given a bill for $985.00 after the job was finished!!!! Anthony told me on the phone, that he had told me that there would be an additional charge since they had to come back!!! First of all they had to come back because the workers did not want to move my stuff in the garage because it would take them too long. Second, Anthony LIED to me about telling me that. My son, Brian, knows Anthony and his father personally and my son was the one who recommended this company to me. If this is how they treat people that are recommended, I would never recommend them. I hate to be lied to!!!!!!!! Every time I make a payment on my credit card I am reminded of how they handled this job. read more

I hired this company to remove ceiling popcorn from a 2-story townhouse. All of the ceiling fixtures, the chandelier, vents, lights, closet doors were removed, and they said they would come back in 4 days when the ceiling dried to put everything back the way it was and to clean up the mess on the floors. They never came back. I spoke to Anthony multiple times. Several times he said he would call me back and never did. The last time, he told me he was busy and he gave me a date and time 2 weeks later when they would come back, but they never showed up. I called again, and he gave me another time block for the same day. I hired a neighbor to sit in front of the townhouse to let them in, but, again, they never showed and never called. Now I've hired someone to put everything back, including a heavy chandelier, at great expense. This company should not be in business! read more

The best in the business!! Clean, prompt and professional! Ask for Anthony!! I will refer often!!

Finished product is beautiful, but that's where it ends. Crew was late everyday. Smoked with my front door open smelling up my entire house. Took two days longer than promised and scratched my brand new floor even after my husband specifically told them NOT to slide the refrigerator. Spent an insane amount of money for a whole lot of aggravation. They never scheduled the electrician that THEY recommended causing me more time off work an extra expenses. The list goes on. read more

Horrible work, foul mouthed employees, left mess, Anthony Pesce lies constantly..never returned calls, only after I put in a dispute with my credit card company did he respond...my mistake when I signed on his iPad as he never showed me second page about no disputes allowed, but I see why because of his horrible work...run from this company as fast as you can...$3000 down the drain as I have to hire another company to completely redo all work read more

These people did a terrible job!! They were supposed to scrape, retexture and paint my ceiling. They did that okay but in the process made a huge mess of my walls. The contract said they would caulk the line between the wall and the ceiling. They did not do that. They left a terrible line and smeared texture all over the place. I had t have a painter come back in and repair what they messed up. Also, before they started I told them to be care to cover my brand new wood floors. They said they would put down plastic. I told them specifically that I wanted more protection and they failed to do that. They put at least 30 scratches, dents and gouges in my new wood floors. Again, I have to pay someone to come in and fix what they messed up. Don't let these people anywhere near your home!! read more

a job started and not finished is NO way to run a business. Anthony Pesce told us he would be back out on to check on our complaints and not a phone call or him keeping his appt. with us. I am seeking a full refund for poor job this company did on my home last June in Tampa

The company completed a knockdown and covered a bedroom window. The finish was done terribly and I had them come back to fix but they said it looked like I had tried to repair the finish but of course I did not touch there work. When the owner came to the house he said he would fix but it would cost me $795. They had charged me $2,185 to complete the work already. This company does not stand by there work. read more

Would choose ZERO stars, but not an option. "Quality" Ceiling Refinishing is anything but! My advice is RUN!! The front man Anthony promises you the moon with clean work, quick in-and-out service, and a reasonable price. (Check out their BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU reports, there are many dissatisfied customers, many of whom mention "Anthony" by name.) In reality, in my case, they removed the popcorn ceiling but also damaged my walls by tearing not only the paint but the textured drywall down about 1-5" the walls. I have photos to prove it. We hired them to do 3 ceilings. The first day, they worked on 2 ceilings. The next day, we asked them to re-do the work because of so much yellowing and bleed through. They did. Then they did the third ceiling. They assured me the last ceiling (which was, unfortunately not quite dry yet when I paid in full) would not need a second coat of paint. Well, by the next day, it became clear that yes, it would need another coat. When I called back to tell him, he told me to just hire my wall painters to repair their work and to finish the job. He said he'd pay me back. When I told him the price of the job, he refused to pay anything! There were SO MANY THINGS THAT WERE DAMAGED while they were working here (scratched teak-wood staircase, texture goo on the ceiling fans, light fixtures, and a/c vents, and ruined drywall) There was NO WAY we wanted them back in there to fix the mess they'd already made. We ended up hiring someone else to fix and finish the job they promised to do. I believe they are scammers and liars. Not only do I NOT recommend them, I recommend YOU TO RUN as far away as possible if they offer you a quote. read more
