    I used this company and the representative and I met at a café and my mom was there. During this…read moremeeting I explicitly said that I didn't want Blinds with the string on them that you pull to raise up. So that meant i wanted blinds that you just push up with your hands. I picked colors and everything, then he came out to the house and again, several times i noted i didnt want blinds with the strings to pull them up. So he measured and sent me a quote And I said OK great. I think I made some change with the style or the color and he sent me the quote again and I approved it. come to find out on installation day he installs all the blinds and they all have strings (!!!!). and when I bring this to his attention he's like, "well you approved the quote, i gave you what was listed on the invoice," and I'm like, "l but I told you several times I don't want Blinds with strings on them. So you send a quote with details that the average person doesn't know what all the abbreviations mean. and the first quote you sent me Had blinds that did not have strings on them, so why would you update the quote and add strings AND NOT COMMUNICATE THIS CHANGE CLEARLY TO ME and explain why you made such a change?!?! and his response was, "oh I was trying to save you some money." so I warn you, if you want to use this guy you better read every single detail and get him to clarify and reaffirm what you want because he seems to think that he can make a design decision based on the what he thinks you want vs what you ask for Because "he wants to save you some money" but he doesn't communicate that to you at all through the process. He reinstalled the blinds and I paid the difference in cost because the ones I wanted were a bit more expensive. And he acted like he was doing me this huge favor by re-ordering the blinds and installing what I wanted even though the error initially was his. And yes I didn't catch it on the invoice because there's all the abbreviation and what have you and why would you change the invoice and not tell me that something that I repeated to you several times I don't want XYZ you added on an invoice and don't tell me?? Such unbelievable arrogance by this guy and seriously I do not recommend you use him. This occurred over a year ago and I'm only now able to explain it without losing my cool. Worst customer service experience ever.

Kevin scheduled a no-risk, in-person consultation where we met to discuss the various treatment options. Let me be clear here- he did not push me to as sale what-so-ever! That alone made me comfortable working with him from the start. During the consultation, Kevin took measurements of my home's windows and then presented his ideas. I had several needs that nobody else in the Memphis area could meet. Kevin took down my ideas, researched with his vendors, and came back to me with a terrific solution to meet my needs. Kevin sent me the installation diagram of the blinds I was interested in because he understood that I enjoyed that level of detail with my order. His invoice was spot on, and easy to pay! During COVID, Kevin kept open and honest feedback about the installation time frame. He touched base with his vendors, confirmed tracking information, and sent several emails to keep me informed. He personally arrived back at my home to install the window treatments. Kevin did not have a separate install team because he wanted to ensure that his expectations and my expectations were met. NOW, for the all-star customer service story. After several weeks, one of the blinds began to sag. Without hesitation, Kevin ordered a replacement blind, kept me informed on the new installation timeline, and replaced the blind in question. Memphis is a working town- many people work at various hours of the day/night. If you need a blackout room for day sleeping, Kevin has the technology and expertise to make it happen. For my first time going through this process, I can certainly say he set the bar high. He will always be my go-to window treatment guy in the Memphis area. Kevin, thank you for running an honest business that places customer service at your core. Nice job! Take a look at the custom blinds and plantation shutter.

    I had a terrible experience. I paid for a door in May 2025 costing $2850. The door was not…read morereceived until August 2025 and the company couldn't get the door installed until September 2025. I waited a lengthy time only for the door to have major imperfections. Scratches were on the door and the panel was scared up. It did not look like it was worth the cost. The door came with a battery powered keypad and a key turn lock that had only one key that did not work with the lock. I went back and forth trying to reach Don, which was a waste of time because he didn't answer my phone calls and office personnel didn't answer but when I inquired about getting the door, responses were super fast and everyone was very pleasant. Don only started responding to me when I spoke to Bruce about him avoiding my calls. Don responded with nothing but excuses. We went back and forth for weeks about getting touch up paint and keys to fit the door and I still didn't get a remedy. I had the worst experience ever. I would caution anyone using The Window Source. What you pay for might not be what you get and there are extensive wait times. Customer service is not great. I will say Bruce was nice and empathetic. The good thing that came out of this ordeal was I got my money back after requesting it. Nothing could be disputed and Don knew the door and my experience were a flop and bad business.
