The good thing is that whatever you need last minute, chances are they will have it. I was looking for straps to attach to an outfit, and they had them, when nobody else would. The not so good side is that unlike other beauty supply companies, they will not do exchanges or refunds under any circumstances. So, please make sure whatever you are buying is what you truly want. They don't care and do not do refunds, exchanges or in store credits. So just due to overpricing, the refund, credit or exchange policy, plus the attitude that came with the refund or exchange issue, the score took a well deserved decrease.

While I didn't make it there, I did find another store in the Perimeter Mall on Summer. I just bought a used TV/VCR combo for my daughters' room and was in desperate need of VHS tapes. I thought that you could only find them on ebay, but guess what? Overstock has them. For 50 cents each. Wow! We found Free Willy, Three Men & A Baby, and a Christmas tape. I also saw a ton of wedding dresses for only $99.99 each. Formal attire begins at $19.99. I'm not in the market for a wedding dress, but I couldn't resist checking out a few styles, and they did have quite a few pretty ones. There were also bath soaps, cute frames, computer and home office equipment, lawn and garden items, stoves, insulation, beanie babies, wine caddies, and countless other items. I don't believe the selection is as vast as the Cumberland Street location (going by its reviews), so I may need to check that one out too.

You'll find literally everything, 'from soup to nuts', in the big warehouse, items that have been bought from department stores and other retails places. Man, my grandma goes nuts in there and only complains that everything is slightly more expensive than it was in 1947.

On these days I always breath a sigh of relief. Everyone one here is super friendly and helpful to me when I'm looking for certain things. There are just things here that you can't find anywhere else. Thus the reason I have found myself there often and recommend (with warnings) to others. Part of me wishes they would take everything out (it is a bit muddled in there), give the whole establishment one good scrub down, and then just put everything back. However there is the part of me (in the majority) that kinda wants it to stay just the way it is. Guess its the grunginess that lends this place a slight charm .... Go figure!

My mother-in-law and several other people recommended them for their quality and history as a company. - I called Siano appliance today to redeem my warranty/5 year GUARANTEE that I bought. They told me in the most condescending way that even though I still had my sales invoice and Siano appliances warranty/guarantee protection plan paperwork (on the same letter head that they still use), that they could not honor the paperwork because they were under new management. -Apparently the new owners wanted to buy the Siano name but not the Siano guarantees. Apparently they wanted to buy the Siano distributors and suppliers but not supply the same customer service that came with the name. Apparently they wanted to buy a name and a company that had decades of trust and reputation but not honor the trust and reputation of the name . I feel bad for me and everyone else who over the last couple years have spent hundreds of dollars on a five-year warranty-guarantee as well as a 10 year warranty -guarantee who are about to find out that they will not only honor the warranty, but also the guarantee of getting 50% of your money back if you never have to use the warranty. This will be the first of many posts that I will make. Thanks to social media, I plan to find as many people as I can that have paid for the services and will not receive them. I will call the Better Business Bureau as well as anyone else I can to right this wrong.
