The initial repair quote was $7,800, but after discussions it dropped to around $2,000. That dramatic price difference immediately made me question whether I was being charged fairly. During the process, I also believe information provided to my home warranty company was misleading in an attempt to increase the amount they would pay. After I paid for the repair, the technicians installed two major parts that were incorrect and not up to code, which later had to be replaced. No homeowner should have to pay for repairs that aren't done correctly the first time. To make matters worse, the system stopped working again just two days later. Despite the outside temperature exceeding 95°F, I was left without air conditioning for three days before anyone came back out. Being without AC in that kind of heat is unacceptable, especially after spending thousands of dollars on a repair that should have solved the problem. Between the questionable pricing, the poor workmanship, the code issues, and the lack of urgency after the repair failed, I have completely lost confidence in this company. If you're considering Advanced Heating & Air, I would encourage you to get multiple opinions and estimates before committing. I certainly wish I had.
