This company installed our heating and cooling unit 4 years ago and until now we've had no issues. However, in the last few days we had an extreme leak from condensation on the unit. It was coming through our ceiling and dripping through a vent and through our ceiling tile. I contacted M&M to come look at it. And after their brief look at our unit they immediately blamed it on our filters needing to be changed. And also saying we needed a fan system in the attic, which we found odd considering we have not needed one all this time. They then "cleaned" the pipes where the condensation is meant to drip out of and I paid their $170 bill. I asked before they left if the leaking would stop and they said it would. Well, maybe 3-4 hours later the leak had tripled on the ceiling because what they did to the pipes made them not work at all. My husband found the issue on his own when he came home from work. Turns out the unit had settled and caused a dip and that's why the water was pooling and not leaving out of the pipe as it should. Which caused the leak. Mind you, these M&M guys did not say once about any kind of leveling issue causing the leak. They blamed filters and saying the pipe was clogged. So I contact them again, appropriately annoyed, and the owner spoke to my husband in the rudest way. My husband was not disrespectful or raised his voice once but the owner was only rude to him. They also said they would call us the next day to arrange a time to come back out for no extra charge. To which they did not hold to that. So, my husband has fixed the issue on his own and the leak has stopped. We never once asked for a refund or demand they fix our ceiling. All we wanted was for the leak to stop before our tiling fell out completely. We did not have a good experience this time, unfortunately. read more
