DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! Had this company scheduled for a week. Explicitly told them when I scheduled that I work full time M-F & asked for a weekend. They scheduled me for the following Saturday morning 8-10am. Got a call from them mid week asking if I can change the time between 1-3 pm on Saturday, but if not they'll have to figure something out with another technician (not my problem). I told them I would check with my husband & get back to them if it works. They called me 3 times during my work hours on the Friday before my appointment, I returned their call when I got off work around 6 pm leaving a message that I unfortunately couldn't change my other appointment on Saturday & didn't get a call back. They called me at 8 am the Saturday I had them scheduled completely canceling my appointment & saying they can get out Monday or Tuesday afternoon. Again, I had EXPLICITLY said I cannot do weekdays. If you're going to set up customers for a specific appointment, how about you make sure you have the proper manpower to run your business. Complete waste of my time & now I have to go call around to try to find same day service. read more

They scheduled me in for an appointment and worked around my time constraints. The day of the appointment, Ryan arrived towards the beginning of my appointment window. I've never gotten my couches professionally cleaned before, but after a few years of usage (they were second-hand couches to begin with), it was time to get them cleaned. I called a variety of companies, and Quality Carpet Cleaning had the best price. They also have a good Yelp deal going on right now. They gave me a quote over the phone based on a few questions (size of my couches, if I had pets, etc.) and were available the very next day!! They told me the cleaner would arrive between 10-12 in the morning, and the cleaner arrived around 11:45. It took a few hours but he did such a thorough job!! Be warned that the couches take a while to dry - I wasn't able to sit on them for about 24 hours and flipped the cushions every 3 hours to ensure they dried correctly. I had a small area on the carpeting - literally just 4x6 - that needed to be cleaned because my cat had an accident. Not only did they charge me the $87 minimum, which is for at least 2 rooms, but actually had the nerve to charge me like 40 bucks extra for pet services, which consisted of him spraying some enzyme on the carpet (3 squirts) which he then promptly washed away with the carpet cleaning. First of all, enzymes for cat urine cost $25- 30 MAX for the whole bottle. They applied 3 squirts and charged an extra $40. Second, when you apply enzyme, you are supposed to apply it afterwards to let it do its job as it takes time to digest the urine etc. You are not supposed to clean it off. Regardless, given that they were doing such an extremely small space, the $87 should have been enough. Instead they charged me $120 total for a small patch - not a room, half a room or even quarter of a room but for a 4x6 mini patch. Really don't appreciate places with such business practices that have no shame and decency! read more

These guys put out a letter citing 2 rooms for $87 but it is too good to be true, apparently, that is only for "steaming" and for the "real" cleaning that is going to be $160 for one room + $60 per room.... So that got us off to a bad start. We had a few bad stains on the carpet which he did get out, overall he did an OK job but I just don't like how it feels like the entire industry is all about the upsell. If you are dealing with them over the phone, be sure to be very specific on exactly what you need done and what it will cost. If you are responding to any print ads they send out, again, you need to call them and be very specific in what you get. The ad I have is "creatively worded" for plausible deniability and upselling you. read more

We had another cleaning person from a diff company come the other day to give a free estimate and they seemed so sketchy that we were hesitant to have someone else come, but, gladly, Robert was very pleasant! I called Quality Carpet Cleaning to ask if they did carpet stretching. I was told yes they did. I told them I had a small area in my bedroom that needed to be restretched. The area is about 3x4 feet . The technician came today for an estimate. For this small area he wanted $ 450. I was shocked. I had checked online about carpet stretching prices and for a single room 200 to 400 sq ft the average cost was between $ 40 -$80 A 1500 sq ft house was between $ 120 -$ 350 To quote me a price of $ 450 for a 3 ft x 4 ft section of my bedroom was ridiculous. I am a disabled senior citizen. Quoting me a price of $ 450 is outrageous. When I said no he technician said he could give me a 50% discount $ 225. This is not a good business practice. I will never use this company and I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to use this company. read more

Never, never hire Quality Carpet Cleaning Company everything about them is a scam and a lie. I called over 24 hours ahead to book an appointment. They said they would arrive between 3 and 5 pm the next day. Prior to arrival they called me 7 times to guarantee I would be there. This is an upscale building in a good area and carpet cleaning to be done in an empty apartment. They lied; no they never showed up. The tech called at 3 pm to let me know he would be there at 3:30 pm- At 4 p.m. I called the company to find out what happened. The phone woman said she would call me right back....no call back. I called again 4 times each time I was told that I would get a return call. No call was ever received, no work was ever done. Quality Carpet Cleaning Co. reeks of dishonesty and gets a sick pleasure of not showing up to do work. They are irresponsible. I do not believe they have a license and their business is a complete scam. Do not bother with this company; even if they ever show up they have no client respect or pride in their work.
