I have been going to The Mechanic Spot for 2yrs now! It started when I had an issue with my Jaguar…read moreF-Pace and the dealership wanted to charge and arm and leg for a service! After inspecting the vehicle, I was told that I needed a new transmission and was quoted just under $9,000 for the repair. I reviewed the diagnostic report they provided, which mentioned battery issues, several transmission-related codes, and other findings. I paid $160 for the diagnostic and left. I then took my car to a shop that specializes in transmissions and came highly recommended by several people, including a Toyota specialist that does not focus on transmissions. After thoroughly inspecting the vehicle, they could not find any issues with the transmission and did not charge me for the inspection. I also had the battery checked again and was told there was nothing wrong with it. I had the fuel system cleaned as well, and my car has been running perfectly fine ever since. I would personally save your money and stay away from The Mechanic Spot!
