I did not fully understand that this shop was going to do a counter quote. After dropping off my car and getting my insurance info over (which I should have never done) I get notified two weeks later that my vehicle is totaled because the shop sent a counter quote back to my insurance and stripped a lot of the vehicle down and said it was going to cost upwards of 10,000 to fix in which my insurance totaled the vehicle. Because my insurance totaled the vehicle this shop would not let me have my vehicle back unless my insurance paid them over $3,000 for the "work" that was "performed" and the "daily vehicle storage fee". The car was never repaired, and I was left with a now "totaled" vehicle that only had cosmetic issues and a bent door frame... Beyond the worst experience at any shop I've ever had. Do not take your vehicle here as this shop tries to squeeze money out of insurance and will hold your vehicle hostage. Edit after shop reply 10/30/25: My first mistake was dropping the vehicle off. My second mistake was sending my insurance info over. All I wanted was the door bent back straight and a basic repair. When I dropped my vehicle off I don't remember it being clear that you were going to do a tear down and then charge a storage fee towards insurance. After I finally Received my vehicle back from your shop I put my own vehicle back together after I got it back and it took me about 2hrs. Charging my insurance $3000 for no actual repair work is insane. I remember quote for quote what you said to insurance since they hadn't paid you yet and they were only willing to pay you around $1200 for vehicle storage and the "work" preformed.. you said "that's not good enough." because you wanted over $3000 from my insurance for this "work" that was preformed and storage fees... aka just a tear down of the inner fender, the outer fender flair the front bumper and grill taken off and lights off. (The only reason I brought this vehicle in is because wind pulled the driver door open and bent the hinges and slightly cracked where the hinges are welded to the A pillar. A simple fix is all I asked for not a full a pillar replacement...." you bent the front fender while getting the door open (which I could have done myself but wanted to try and not bend anything more which is why I took this to a shop in the first place...) and then did a full tear down of the driver side door including taking the glass out.. I don't even care about that Jeep anymore and was willing to just give it away at that point in this process because of how pissed off I was and still am about this whole thing. You should have called me before sending any "supplement" to my insurance. Moral of the story for anyone who is considering this shop: don't involve insurance with this shop or you will be sitting between a shop feud with your insurance as the shop is trying to squeeze money out of the insurance company. They might like to do repair work but all this shop sees when you have insurance involved is dollar signs.

It's crazy the difference between. This business and another collision center that I dealt with a couple weeks prior. Unfortunately my wife and I had both of our cars damaged within weeks of each other. I made the mistake of going with another company even though I had been recommended to JD's. I have since learned my lesson and will never use any other business besides them. I have to admit I am a tough customer and when it came to the idea of having someone repair my 2024 Raptor R scared me. I didn't want some repair that people could look at and tell that something had happened. They out that worry to rest. I was blown away by their level of detail and they even had to order some additional parts because of damage that I couldn't see. They gave me timely updates and even got the truck back to me sooner than expected. The cherry on top was that it came back cleaner than when I dropped it off. I am not just saying they washed the truck (which they did). I am pretty sure they even vacuumed they truck and were able to get dog hair out that even I hadn't been able to get and I keep my truck showroom ready except for the floor mats. That's where they really took it a notch above. They cleaned my floor mats to where they looked brand new. I know that doesn't seem like much but it's the little things like that combined with the big things (exceptional repair) that make this team the best of the best. Thank you to everyone here for taking care of my baby. My wife says I love my truck more than her and while I am not saying that is true, they sure made the playing field pretty even. I was lucky and had insurance pay for all the repairs but if in the future, if I ever have to pay for repairs out of pocket the value they provide would far exceed any cost.

I took my daughter's care to Iron Mountain after her accident, from a referral from the owner's…read morenephew. They received the vehicle on Friday, Oct 31st, 2025. On Tuesday, Nov 4th, I received an estimate for the wheels, tires, and alignment to be completed to make the vehicle drivable for evaluation and further estimates of damage. It took until Wednesday, November 12th, to have the tires and wheels, and alignment completed, at which time I received a further estimate of charges for repairs. I had questions about the repairs and spoke to Will (co-owner) to go over them, as they totaled almost $5,000. I received a new estimate on Thursday, Nov 13th, at 2:16 pm that prioritized repairs. I had follow-up questions trying to understand everything that was needed with his priority, but I was not allowed to speak to Will again, and after numerous attempts, I received a text on Friday, November 15th (at 1:32 - less than 24 hours after my estimate) stating that "Kevin has made an executive decision for NOCO Mechanical to discontinue any more services on your vehicle at this time." When I tried to find out what happened, I was told that "this is not a debate over the situation" and that I needed to pick up my car or I would be charged for storage starting Monday, November 17th. I was continually told by the owner, Kevin, that EVERYTHING could be handled for the insurance claim, both repairs and body work. Unfortunately, I had to pay $983.41 and left with a car in need of repairs and body work. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TAKING A VEHICLE TO THIS COMPANY.
