They don't even deserve the 1 star. I will NEVER recommend this company. I will be reporting them…read moreto the BBB. Brothers, William & Wesley Alves own this business. I can't speak for William or any of the employees, but I sure can speak for Wesley. I needed service on my AC which Wesley installed in my attic approx 5 years ago. Recently, the unit, out of nowhere just shut off. A 5" diameter water spot appeared on my ceiling under the location of the AC. I spoke with Wesley, assuming when he said " I will be there Monday" it would be him coming to service it. Instead, Wesley sent his 2 nephews. They came without a multimeter tool needed to test the outside condenser & without a ladder needed to enter my attic. After 30 minutes of "looking" at it, they determined the AC water pan in the attic overflowed (onto my ceiling) due to a non-working overflow switch. They drained the pan (with our garden hose because all they had was a small pail to go up & down the attic). When they finished, I was told the overflow switch was old & not working, they drained the pan & the ceiling would "dry up quickly because it's so hot up there". And to "call if you need us". I paid them & off they went. This was Monday. On, Friday, there was a 4'x2' long water spot on my ceiling with water actually dripping onto my floor, along with ceiling paint peeling. I immediately called WW Brothers. This was approx 3:00 pm. I spoke with Wesley. Basically, I was told he wouldn't come out because it was " a Friday afternoon & I am now on overtime. Who calls on a Friday afternoon, expecting someone to come out. I tried explaining my situation ....that the problem the nephews said was fixed was obviously not fixed & they told me to "call us if you to". He proceeded to tell me "he had a golf tournament & he needed to spend time with his kids". Now, mind you, he advertises 24 hour service. We argued for a bit & his voice got louder, his words became very inappropriate. He was very argumentative, rude, disrespectful, & a poor representative for that business. In my opinion, throwing the "F" word around is just plain unacceptable. On, Saturday, another company serviced the AC unit. The overflow pan had a crack in it & needed to be replaced. The overflow switch that wasn't working, that should have been replaced was replaced. I have no problem paying whatever a service costs (as long as the service is acceptable). However, I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. I am not only out the money paid to WW Brothers for doing nothing ($250 for draining a pan & approx 30 minutes of their time). Because of WW Brothers' shoddy service, I had to hire another HVAC company to correctly service my AC. (and I will say there was NO COMPARISON to the customer communication). Additionally, I have to hire someone to repair the water spots and paint the entire ceiling.

RLF Heating & Cooling

RLF Heating & Cooling is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Bob Fleming will be my HVAC guy until the day he…read moreretires (hopefully never!). It's difficult to explain how much I recommend RLF Heating & Cooling. Where do I start? In mid-June of 2026 both our upstairs and downstairs A/C systems were completely dead. Bob Fleming came to the rescue in a big way! It was H-O-T hot! And it was very uncomfortable to sleep upstairs with no A/C. We decided to install a SEER20 Bosch 36k BTU Bosch heat pump A/C system, which supplies both A/C and Heat at a cost effective rate. It was a big project that also required replacing the air handler in the attic. Since this wasn't going to happen overnight, Bob went out of his way and bought 3 new window AC units for us to use upstairs (which he installed) until the work was completed. He didn't charge us a penny for these. He let us borrow them for free! That bridged the gap perfectly. The new A/C system works perfectly! It's quiet, efficient, and very professionally installed, along with a smart Ecobee thermostat that I quite like. The heat pump also supplies heat during the winter. Bob smartly set it up so that it automatically uses the heat pump when the outside temperature gets down to as low as 35F. If the outside temp goes below 35F, then the energy source automatically transitions to our pre-existing natural gas system. Supposedly that's the sweet spot to use both systems as effectively and cost-conscious as possible. It's brilliant! Bob also reinstalled our old A/C lines that went to three different mini-split systems on the first floor. He professionally pressure tested everything, and it's all working perfectly. Bob was so polite, asking whether it was okay to work past a certain hour as he wanted to get the job done as quickly as possible, while also respecting our family's privacy. He cleaned all of his work up leaving nothing behind. That summer, I felt in a strange way that Bob became an extension of our family. He was so polite to all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed having him around the house, and completely trusted him. I am so fortunate to have found RLF Heating & Cooling. His reviews were fantastic. That's why I reached out to him for our projects and he still totally surpassed my expectations. RLF Heating & Cooling for the win! 100% recommended!
