Management was awesome. Quiet and comfortable. Felt safe throughout our week stay. Came from Texas to visit family in local town.

I have a seasonal site since last year and have been very happy there. The kids love it and they are constantly making improvements. The pool is always clean as are the parks. They have an area to refill Your propane tanks if you need it and airs pumps for your camper/bike tires. There are quiet time rules in place, speed limit of 5 mph and they are enforced which I live since I have kids that ride their bikes around. If you want get your kids off their devices and out doing stuff, try it. If you follow the rules and respect the others at the campsite, no one bothers you read more

He was completely rude and said did she tell you a site? I said no, I just wanted to look and check some out. He then says there is nothing available and you have to leave NOW. Everything was great except the security guard Neil is extremely strict on the campground rules, got reprimanded for playing corn hole "too loudly" and was told to put it away at 10pm when quiet time is at 11pm, he also was hanging around watching us constantly, it made it uncomfortable. read more

This place is the absolute worst. I went for a weekend and I regret every minute of it. The security guard is the even worse than the camp itself. I got yelled at him three time and he threatened to kick me out twice for things that were so minor (like my friend running after ducks)... Don't go here. read more

Please disregard reviews from 2-3 years ago and further back. We spoke with some of the employees and owners and we understand that the original owner's daughter and her husband have recently taken over ownership and have made it there full time job to renovate and bring the campground to its fullest potential. This campground was exactly what we were looking for! Family owned, great communication and superb customer service. The playground, pool, pond, field and activities were all my kids needed and they cried when it was time to leave. We will definitely be back, and look forward to creating more great memories. read more

Came with family stayed in one of the rental campers it was right in the front by check in so not off to an amazing start. Also the rental camper we had stayed in there were ants all over as well as there being spider webs and other bugs. There was people walking behind the camper all the time so there was no quite time. Also there were people setting off fireworks. "BANNED: FIREWORKS/ FIRECRACKERS/ FIREARMS/ WEAPONS OF ANY KIND/ ILLEGAL DRUGS AND/OR ACTIVITIES ARE NOT PERMITTED" copied right from the website. I was very displeased with hearing the fireworks as well as they made all the dogs bark. We went to shower and one person took a fairly short shower and even 2 hours later when I went to shower there was no hot water very unpleasant. Also the wifi is non excitant so you will need to hotspot your computer or other devices. I recommend you Just go to a different camp site spend a little extra money and go to a nicer camp site. read more

From the website we thought this would be an okay RV park. We had a horrible camping experience! I called three months in advance of our stay and let them know we wanted a quiet area. They put us in the loudest area in the camp, with tents behind us with campers that were extremely loud and obnoxious, partying all day and up until 11:00 p.m. On their site map the tents were on the complete opposite side of the campground but apparently they allow tents campers to stay anywhere. Also, about 50% of the RVs there are long-term full-time tenants so it was junky. There are too many other places to stay in Pennsylvania, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. read more

we have a seasonal site here. It fit all our needs in order of spacious woodsy site, pool, playground, close to home and anything above n beyond that is great. They have miniature golf which the grandkids love. Granted the gameroom needs serious help 1/2 the machines are down but on a positive note keeps more money in the pocket with the g.kids lol. There is a nightly hayride n bonfire on the weekends for the gkids also. You do have to pay a fee even if they visit for a few hours on a saturday which i dont mind but i do think others ignore that rule. The seasonal site fee is comparable to others however the owner tony (very nice man) works with you. Everyone we came in contact with including other seasonals have all been very nice. We trust our camper there and know some of the seasonals will look out for us as we would do the same for them. Yes there is a few that definatley should clean up there site and make it look bad however maybe in future things will get stricter where that is concerned. We just make sure ours looks great with the flowers and always cleaned, never cluttered. People complained of the bathrooms cleanliness however i have never seen the bathroom unclean, its always been cleaned. I use the one attached to the rental office. And i met the cleaning lady, she is also nice. Regarding the loudness, again its a campground and ppl are on vacation. We have stayed several fri/sat nites and it has never been loud past a decent hour. So before you get scared go check it out and remember its camping. If you want the ritz then go to the ritz. Looks like it was a spectacular Campground...25 years ago. My site, #14 was the most unlevel spot I have ever been on, but other than that the place was reasonable. The pool water was well maintained and wonderfully refreshing, but the floor of the pool was damaged in a couple of spots quite badly. Beautiful sylvan setting, but difficult to get into the spots and out of them due to that...as well as acorns and hickory nuts randomly falling on your camper. Bathroom facilities were adequate but not very clean or pleasant. read more

We have a seasonal site and the daughter took over a couple years ago. Her and her husband have been trying very hard to do repairs and make things better. My grandchildren love it and we have a great time whenever we are there. I hope to see more activities for the children in the future, but I have seen much improvemtn read more

Is there a no star option? DO NOT camp here. The place is run down. The prices are high. Hospitality management is in need. The new owner is a stickler. They raised all the prices and charge full price for a half filled propane tank. Seasonals beware!! Your seasonal access is monitored by hidden cameras, these cameras are not used for protection. They are used to monitor any daily activity. You have absolutely no privacy. Fabricated Rumors travel quickly amongst the regulars and owner. They are overly picky and unrealistic in their approach to solve any issue. Do Not get personal with anyone!! Illegal drug use and meth labs have been known to be or have been in the past. The coke machine out front is poorly stocked and the only access to drinks after store closes. Good luck standing at the soda machine for 15 min wrestling the dollars to go in. The owner is not customer service friendly and is extremely cheap with a non refundable reservation . There are no realistic refunds given under any circumstances. They discriminate all people and given evictions out like hot cakes with no real logical reasoning of any kind to address issues . The only result is a termination of your stay. They are completely unreasonable and nosey. Any good review on her is a fabrication and pushed by the owner to falsify the reviews to make it seem like something it's not! read more

I just camped here last weekend with my husband and child. I will always return. Even with the recent March snow storms the campground was convenient spacious and clean. I haven't been here in a couple years. People were friendly and you can tell owner is trying to make improvements. There were multiple cats roaming our sites that had to be scared away and we were warned by others to wipe everything down in mornings as they pee on everything. Dogs have to be leashed per rules but cat don't I guess. This is my biggest complaint. read more

We are planning a huge move from Texas to Pennsylvania and staying at Quakerwoods until we purchased a home. Unfortunately, our truck was stolen in Texas while here in Pennsylvania checking out the town looking for doctors since I'm disabled. I had made a deposit of $200 to hold a spot, but I had to cancel the reservation and they charged me a $50 service fee when other campsites in the area give you a full refund or $5 charge if cancelled within 48 hours. I cancelled three weeks before. I really think it's unjust and will report this to my credit card company because there is no statement on the receipt about cancellation fees. read more

STAY AWAY! While our site was spacious, and the fire ring was clean, that is THE BEST thing I can say. We spent the weekend of August 21-23, 2015. We had no picnic table... because the seasonal site behind us had 5! We had trouble getting into our site because the seasonal on the other side parked their car in the road. The seasonal people here treat this place like a Redneck Hunting camp. There are piles of junk, damaged furniture, and tarp covered piles everywhere! The seasonal campers are rusted and covered with mold. And when the wifi signal isnt stong enough for them, the run a wire to any tree, get a ladder and hang a booster box. They have no regard for how low the wire may hang into another site. They dont seem to take any pride in their sites at all. I saw one person working maintenance and he was setting up the bonfire. Sunday morning the site was littered with beer bottles. And I didnt see anyone cleaning the 'bathrooms ' which i was blessed not to have to use. Thankfully our camper has our own bathroom. And 'quiet hours'? There was so much music playing loudly at other sites all day, we could not even hear ours. And the screaming, shouting and loud conversations continued until after 1 am. Picnic table man had such a foul mouth. It was very offensive. And where were the owners? Good question. I have to add one more thing to this rewiew. Before we pulled out, I HAD to use a bathroom. I chose the one attached to the office. My service dog and I were greeted by an off leash chihua who came charging and barking out of the bathroom. When we finally got inside, I was really disappointed that they did not have a handicapped stall. I had to pee with the stall door open because there,was no place for my dog. read more

Total rip off- showed up to camp and they had no electric but yet insisted on us paying for an electric site!!! Seasonals have piles of junk all over, basket hoop on the ground. Pool unkept and very shallow. Extra $$ for horseshoes and shuffle board- 5.00 extra really?!?!?! They refused to give us our deposit back but we left anyway- total dive. read more

It's alittle nuts here the permanent campers rule here... The weekend campers beware. It's not family weekend friendly. If you speak up, your not welcome. Stayed at Quakerwoods Campground for their Halloween weekend. It was so much fun! They had trick or treating, a site decorating contest and the best part was the haunted hayride! I am definitely planning to go again. It gave our kids plenty to do in a safe place. read more

It's a shame that what should be a nice campground is ruined by a few. We got there Friday and at least 2 campers were blasting music until 11:00. Same problem Saturday and when we tried to get them to turn it down it turned into an argument. Owners and security were little help so we packed up and left. Bathrooms were dirty and I don't think I ever met such rude people camping or not. Owners need to read their rules and enforse them. read more

Hi went camping here in April 2016. I have a 19' pull behind RV. I camped in a full hookup campsite. I signed in with the manager Tony he was very nice and informative. I went to my site and made all necessary hookups I found the water was not turned on and made a call to Tony he had his maintenance person John quickly respond and he kindly turned the water on. The local seasonal campers were friendly. I had a few campfires and cooked out. It was quiet after 10PM The bathrooms were ok. I would return in the future. read more
