TDN you are a challenge…read more As the parent of a student who went there for three years, I've had ups and downs with this place. The instructors seem to truly care, but our last two lacked discipline and classes can sometimes get rowdy. Quieter children, like mine, are in the shadow of louder kids who do a lot of whatever they want. Many guardians hang out in the lobby, but unlike other dance studios, there is no attempt to make a community of parents. The lobby in this location could also use a good deep clean. Songs and routines are fun and the kids are in to them. This is the good stuff. The location is also killer if you live in Lawrenceville. The recitals here are mixed. In some ways they are very fun. The first one we had at TCNJ went off without a hitch. The last two haven't been as smooth, and the practice for this last recital was a joke. They were incredibly disorganized, there was nothing for young kids to do backstage, and my wife waited for a while for a parent to show up. None did so she just hung out backstage for pretty much the whole rehearsal. At the end of the day, this is a decent dance studio. If you're not taking things too seriously and you're looking for a convenient location, you probably won't go wrong here. That said, we've had experience with a number of places, and this one wasn't exactly on the top of our list. As convenient as it was, we ultimately decided not to come back. This may or may not end up working for you.

Again, I'm doing a review here in detail because I guess I didn't finish it before and Help would…read morelike me to get moving on it. I took this class and almost completed it until our family emergency changed the outcome. I was going to reactivate my real estate license and that's still my intention and so now I really like the school the teacher was fantastic. The layout study guide were great and I plan to go back this year.

This school is excellent. I passed my state exam on the first try. I was in the January 2015…read moreintensive course (9-5 weekdays for 2 weeks). The course is in my opinion expensive, however the first day was canceled without much notice and they staff was professional enough to provide the course book at no cost as a perk. They also offer the ability to retake the class at no charge if you fail the test, something I haven't heard of before and was my primary reason for selecting this school along with its recommendation. The instructor is Bob Sherwood who, in my opinion, is an excellent academic instructor. He isn't afraid to joke with students and I found most of the class liked him. He is somewhat abrasive however, and won't hesitate to throw a sarcastic answer in there now and then (leading some students to dislike him simply because of his attitude) however his teaching methods are extremely effective and the information is relevant. This next part is important - The class consists of a great deal of material. The first is the 600 page book, where you must read it in its entirety in the two weeks, the chapter summaries, the chapter reviews, the end chapter quizzes, plus Bob hands out a synopsis of pertinent information along with several practice tests. It's a lot. I (and this is the key factor) did none of it. Literally none. I read none of the chapters, I did none of the chapter reviews, chapter quizzes, or read any of the material Bob handed out and didn't do a single sample test. I DID, however, pay attention to his lectures and took notes. I was apathetic to this course because I could take it again at a later date and actually read the material, but that turned out to be unnecessary as I passed the course exam on the last day without any problem due to Bob's lectures. Lastly, I took the state exam later in the week and passed on my first try. To sum up, this course is intense in material and the instructor can be gruff at times, but it is highly recommended by everyone in my office, and I was able to pass the course and the state exam on the lectures alone by paying attention. Definitely sign up for this class. Financially and academically advantageous.
