It just happens to be directly at the end of the Jetée Joséphine Baker where the ferries and cruise ship tender boats unload passengers. There's a public beach with a great view of the Lérins Islands and Estérel Massif in an area called Quai Laubeuf. It's also happens to be the name of the bus stop.
We had a very relaxing time soaking in the view right before taking our group tour to Grasse & Valbonne, and after exploring Cannes on foot. There's a pedestrian promenade that has benches to sit on that is just off the jetty. It's the perfect place to get a nice 360° view of the bay and Cannes. It was a beautiful sunny morning with sounds of the birds and the sea. What a view!
There were residents walking their dogs, exercising, and enjoying the beach. You'll see lighthouses and even a helicopter pad as you continue walking along the jetty from this area. It's a great place for families, pets, and tourists. A nice meeting point as well. read more
