Fixing our problem wasn't easy, but they were able to figure it out! Just a note- people need to remember, with these types of companies, people are on the road a lot and they're dealing with many people who all claim to have an emergency, so we have to give slack when waiting for a call back.

I highly recommend Quabbin Well and Pump Service, and especially Nate, for your needs.

I explained the problem to the person who answered the call (Mary) and she told me she thought they had a service technician out our way and she would call him to see if he could help us. Mary called me right back and said he could be there shortly. The technician arrived shortly after (Pete) and he checked over our problem and gave me a price. Pete got right to work on it and was out of here in about an hour and 15 minutes. I'm not sure if we would have got anyone else to come if they weren't available and we might not have had water for a couple days. Thank you Charlton Well, Mary and Pete for resolving our problem so quickly.

I had no water and my plumber told me the existing driven point was clogged. My plumber suggested tying into city water or drilling a well. The city water option would cost ~$15,000 and the first drilling estimate was ~$10,000. When Dave Gagne met me at my camp the first thing he said was "you're not thinking of drilling a well, are you?" He said it didn't make sense to spend that much money on a seasonal place and instead suggested that another driven point be installed for a max of $2,500! Not only was he the only person out of the 10 people involved who had any common sense but he said he would try to get the existing system working - and he was successful! I am so grateful to this company. Excellent customer service and practical advice!!! Thank you!

There only two plumber/sever companies I have ever dealt with in the past and I didn't want to use either of them because of past experiences. I wasn't really sure what to do so I jumped on Yelp and found All In One Drain Cleaning. I called and got a live person, Bill, who said that someone would be coming out my way in a few hours. Blake was the person who showed up, before noon. He tried snaking the pipe with a monster snake and had no luck. He then had to send a camera down the drain to see what was up. He told me how much it would cost and my eyes rolled into the back of my head but I had no choice and had to go with it. I am really shocked at how much it costs to send a camera down the pipe for 5 minutes. Yikes! Anyway, the camera revealed that the pipe was clogged solid so that was a good call. The next step was to blast the blockage with a water jet. Because of where my drain cleanout is located in the basement, there was no way to blast it without flooding the basement. This is where his boss, Bill, stepped in and a decision was made to dig up the front yard and install a cleanout pipe connected to the main pipe. The whole job took several hours and was finished around 7PM. It cost an arm, a leg, a lamppost, and my firstborn but at last, I was able to shower and poop without worrying that the goods would end up in the basement again. I guess certain services are just very expensive. I don't have any point of reference as to the price point because I wasn't able to "shop" around, although I am also not sure I would want to anyway. Bill and Blake a couple of very hard-working guys and they know their craft. On top of that, they are very personable and bicker like an old married couple. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is dealing with serious plumbing or sewage problems.

After my septic tank was pumped, my receipt was left in the front door with the notation, "Cover warped, not sitting properly -- if interested, 9" riser with concrete cover." There was no direct communication explaining the severity of the issue. When I contacted the office the following day for clarification, I was told the area was unsafe and posed a major safety hazard because the warped cover was only a few inches beneath the dirt. If someone stepped on that area, they could potentially fall through the cover and directly into the septic tank below.I was shocked that nobody had notified me of this danger. I asked to speak with the owner, who was understandably upset with his team and deeply apologetic. He acknowledged that the situation never should have been handled that way and that I should have been directly notified of the safety hazard. Despite it being after regular business hours, he came to my home that evening to secure the cover with screws for the night, then returned the following morning to complete the repair. While the lack of communication was a serious concern, I genuinely appreciate the owner's response, accountability, and willingness to make things right. Even when a major mistake occurred, he took responsibility and addressed the situation promptly. For that reason, I will continue to be a customer of Helgerson's.
