I had the opportunity to do business with Charlton Well today when we had a little emergency. I didn't find out we had a problem until about about 10:15 am and I was nervous that they wouldn't be able to address our problem on such short notice (and on a Friday). I explained the problem to the person who answered the call (Mary) and she told me she thought they had a service technician out our way and she would call him to see if he could help us. Mary called me right back and said he could be there shortly. The technician arrived shortly after (Pete) and he checked over our problem and gave me a price. Pete got right to work on it and was out of here in about an hour and 15 minutes. I'm not sure if we would have got anyone else to come if they weren't available and we might not have had water for a couple days. These guys are the best! Long story short, we've had problems with our water pressure and hot water for quite some time now. Yesterday, on 2/15/23, the owner of the company himself, Peter Belanger, came to the house (I know my yelp shows Southbridge, but we've lived in Sturbridge for 3 years). I wasn't home, but my husband said he was SO nice and SO professional! He listened to all of the issues we've been having, he fixed the water pressure part and for the hot water, he instructed my husband how to do it (an easy fix!), which saved us $500.00! Also, my husband called on 2/14/23 and they were at the house as mentioned on 2/15/23. You don't see many companies these days with honesty and integrity, but Charlton Well has both. We've used them now for 3 years and we know we will be life-long customers, as long as they're open! read more

Don't bother calling Charlton Well for any well work. My sister-in-law (SIL) called them because she could only get water intermittently. The 2 guys who came out were unfriendly and rude. They looked at her well and pressure tank. Dug a little bit in the well to uncover some wires, dropped a stone to hear the water level then told my SIL to just shut off the power to the well and turn it back on again in 24 hrs... When my SIL turned the pump back on, there was NO water at all. They charged her $85 for a 1/2 hr visit. They didn't bother with any real trouble-shooting to find out if the problem was with the pump, pressure switch, conduit or pressure tank. So my SIL called Charlton Well to come back... She got an extremely rude, ignorant and unprofessional person who answered the phone blaming the lack of water due to very old equipment... Well yeah, Duh!!! We needed Charlton Well to trouble-shoot the problem so it could be fixed and the necessary parts could be replaced. I told my SIL to call a competitor... And they came out the same day. They were professional and courteous. After spending about 45 mins, they determined that her system needed a new pump. They dug out the old pump and replaced it along with some wires (that was damaged by the Charlton Well morons). They also tested the pressure tank and switches, etc. They were thorough. I won't give the name of the company who came out otherwise it will look like I'm writing a review for them. If you still decide to call Charlton Well, good luck... You'll need it. read more

As a real estate agent I have used this company in the past and had pretty good luck. Recently though I needed service on a well pump at my own house. I called Charlton Well, made an appointment for 2 weeks out because that's the soonest they could come. The never showed up and when I called to see what happened they never returned my call. I tried again and the womoan at Charlton Well told me they didn't service that town...really poor service. They shouldn't have let me book the appointment and should have at least returned my call once they missed the appointment. No apology from the woman at Charlton Well either, I will not use them again and don't recommend them to my clients any longer. read more

Great customer service, young woman was very helpful on the phone since I called in a panic abut not having clean water for my new born. Service guys were wonderful and replaced my water filter. They also came in a timely manner which was great! read more

Very, very bad customer service. Techs courteous. Very expensive. There are other better Well companies out there. Due diligenceis recommended. read more
