Everything is always cooked perfectly and the flavors are next level. He works together beautifully with his wife who makes awesome desserts. It is a full service experience from start to finish--preparing a menu, cooking food on site at your home, and then they take care of all the clean up when it's over. Not only is Chef Al an amazing chef, but he also is a pleasure to talk to, he's engaging, and he's happy to answer questions. Our kids love him too! If you're looking for an amazing private chef to deliver the ultimate luxurious dining experience, look no further. Chef Al is your guy!

WOW what an incredible dinner experience!…read more We provided Chef Al with a rough idea of our dinner preferences along with a couple food allergies and he created a stunning menu in no time. He was also able to make adjustments as needed. The private dinner was absolutely phenomenal and delicious. Chef Al is no ordinary chef, you can tell he has some upscale culinary training and experience. The food was so delicious we didn't want to stop eating lol. Ahi with an incredible soy orange glaze over crispy wontons and Chilean sea bass cooked to perfection were just a couple of the highlights from our dinner. Chef Al is so great this was actually the second time we booked him! And his encore was just as incredible as the first private dinner he did for us last year. Super friendly and professional - would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for the perfect private dinner experience.

I have put off this review for many months now. I hired Chef Keon June 2020 to cater my wedding in…read moreDecember 2020. The last weekend of October his wife sent an email saying that Chef Keon had a heart attack and a stroke and they could no longer cater the wedding. I was super understanding and asked if there was anything I could do. I never heard back. A few weeks later I'm rushing to find a caterer but I had already paid the down payment with Chef Keon. I sent another email asking if we could get the deposit back as we were on a tight budget and needed to pay the new caterer that was jumping up to fill this spot in less then 3 weeks before the wedding. I was told that he had taken a turn for the worst and she was trying to get refunds issued. Fast forward to AFTER the wedding I reach out again to try to get my money back. Their website and Facebook keeps saying they are doing events and looking to do more jobs. But they couldn't do mine that I paid for? I was also told they had multiple chefs in their employment and thats why they were still doing work. But no one could step up and do my wedding? I found their personal facebook pages that are public and not private at all to see Chef Keon and his wife both at home no mention of any serious injury's or illness. At this point I am confused. Would someone lie about being in the hospital with a heart attack and a stroke and then say they've taken a turn for the worst? But still post pictures of cooking at home and posting on social media to try to get new jobs? I've gotten some of my money back but I am still owed a few hundred dollars at this point that I don't think I will ever see. It is now March 2021 and this has been going on since November 2020. I am discouraged and angry at the lack of communication and confused at what the truth is. I just wanted my money back since I never got the service I paid for. I was so excited to work with Chef Keon as he was super nice and his cooking was great but I feel like I was scammed and I just wanted to warn others what has happened to me. I hate leaving bad reviews but I have no idea what else to do since they tend to ignore emails until I've sent 4 or 5.

The Rundown: You're paying for name, not necessarily a quality experience here…read more The Review: I'd never been here before, and it was rather hyped up before attending so I was looking forward to the experience. Initial impression from outside: Nice, I was surprised to find a golf course/(can you call it country?) club in the city! Once stepping inside however, it was very apparent that there was a general lack of attention to detail which I found odd. On the main screen the event going on is displayed and then you find yourself greeted by: a damaged sign advertising their Instagram. At a place that costs this much I'm really not sure how this is positive advertising? Took away from the initial experience. During the catering service the food was quite good, not anything that gave a memorable culinary experience and I'd say above average for catering but wasn't anything I would rave about. The odd part was the staff was almost TOO attentive. You'd turn around and anything at your spot belonging to the facility was removed. Did you go up to get more food? You'd return to find all the utensils gone. Eating and paused for a moment? If not, you'd likely turn and find an arm pop around you to remove your plate and any utensil around. It left a sense of feeling rushed and inconvenienced as there were no utensils clearly visible. You'd have to ask the staff who would direct you to utensils on a black tablecloth covered by a black napkin where there were a total of three sets. They were never refilled throughout the service so the running joke became asking your neighbor to guard your utensils and napkins if you'd step away otherwise risk eating with your hands. Also one of the staff you could always tell when she returned from a smoke break which was disappointing. But at least you knew a server was nearby when the odor of smoke came around and know your items might disappear if you weren't holding on to them? Overall, for the price you're paying keep in mind it's strictly for the name. The experience was subpar and I've been to better events where people spent less. This one felt very transactional - and not in a positive way.
