Katie helped me through the meal planning, actually recommending that I reduce the order, and delivered to my daughter's home exactly on schedule. The food was great, very generous portions (I'm still eating the potato salad for lunch) and there was a wide choice among selections that could be served at room temperature - a real plus when you're not sure when people will actually eat. She made the process fun and exciting, she loves her work and it really shows. During cocktail hour, Chef Aaron was flipping waffles on the patio as he served bite sized fried chicken and waffles with bourbon syrup. Huuuge hit with my friends, especially the yankees who came in from NYC and didn't know what southern fried chicken is all about :) The beef bourguinon and shrimp and grits were also a 10 / 10. We had some issues with buses being delayed with traffic, our day-of wedding coordinator showing up with an infant and mostly just taking care of her baby and not doing her job, and a few other things...Jin was our saving grace, she set everything straight, delivered incredible food and service. Jin and Aaron, I can't thank you enough. Drew

The communication and interpersonal skills were lacking and the level of unprofessionalism was astounding. Kendra contacted me after 8 pm, the evening prior to my event. I explained that I was at a show and requested she text what was the issue. She requested an additional $175 because she replaced a menu item. When I requested she bring me a receipt the next day, the day of my event, not unreasonable, since I didn't approve a change, she became extremely belligerent and said she wasn't going to " go through this" and stated she threw the receipt away! I responded that as a business that was out of the ordinary to discard a receipt. She replied "that she can run her business anyway she wants and she would eat the cost. I later learned that guests complained about her "attitude " and she told my brother to get out of the kitchen. I understand from guests that her assistant apologized several times for her behavior. A guest was a chef and I asked for his honest opinion, it was not flattering. She lacks the proper equipment to cater a meal, renting chafing dishes . Of course I found this out after I signed the contract. In good will, I paid her the extra $175 in spite of the poor service received. In short, she threw my meal together and took many shortcuts with the replaced protein item and serving cut up croissants instead of dinner rolls like she promised in the contract. And had the gall to ask for a tip the afternoon before - in very poor taste - even though she already added it to the cost. I responded that I needed to taste her food first. I posted this review to provide an honest assessment about my experience. I hope this will allow her to reexamine her business practices and possibly improver her customer service and meal prep skills. Customers do not want to feel like their job is an afterthought or gear excuses about why one couldn't deliver as promised in a contract.

But after a while, I found Chef Chip online. I was a little nervous getting his services for the first time for my wife's birthday, but I am glad I did. His communication with me was fabulous from moment one. He Arrived one hour earlier to start cooking brunch and returned in the afternoon for dinner. Everything was perfect. The food was of excellent quality and delicious. His prices were very fair, with all the costs explained upfront. I won't be surprised to see him one day on the TV winning TOP CHEF! I can't wait to have Chef Chip back here for another fantastic meal. THANKS CHEF!

Chip is good-natured and friendly and joined in our family banter with ease, while at the same time producing a gourmet meal from a tiny kitchen in a rented house that had only a hodgepodge of dishes and cutlery. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, blueberry salad, filet and scallops and sea bass, and lemon curd. Everything was cooked to perfection, and he even took the time to teach my niece a little something about plating and presenting during the dessert course. Overall it was a 5-star experience that would have been worth twice the (surprisingly affordable) price!
