Overall it was our best decision ever to choose this spot to cater our holiday party. We went off of recommendations we saw online and my coworkers wouldn't stop raving about how flavorful the food was. It was extremely delicious. Everything was ready on time when I arrived and we ended up with a good amount of leftovers. You'll be happy with LowCountry Catering serving up delicious eats for your next get together or office party. read more

We had an event last night for 350 at the Atlanta Botanical Garden and LowCountry Catering absolutely killed it. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and efficient and the cost was reasonable. We had the roast turkey and roast beef carving station and I have to say, if my roast turkey at Thanksgiving came out as tender and tasty as the roast turkey they had, I'd be in heaven. The passed appetizers and grazing tables were a big hit. The decor was lovely, servers were super friendly and accommodating and really the food was amazing. Definitely try the pecan tarts - soo good. You can't go wrong with LowCountry catering. Thank you for a truly memorable event. read more

My brother in law got married a few weeks ago and used LowCountry as their caterers and my husband and I were so excited to taste those garlic mashed potatoes and short rib again like we had at our wedding. DID NOT DISAPPOINT. read more

Low Country Catering is truly amazing! We planned a wedding at Fernbank Museum with less than a year and we could not have done that without LCC and especially Mackenzie Gallagher! From the get go LCC was the first company to get back to us and so professional and courteous! We went to the tasting and fell in love with the food! It was important to us that the food be really memorable, as we had many foodies in attendance - they were not disappointed!! We had rave reviews on all of the food and the service was impeccable! We did the plated stations option and we had several stations, all of which were set up and run perfectly! LCC also helped us choose some options for people with dietary restrictions, and those ended up being enjoyed by everyone! I really can't say enough good things about them! We will be using them again for sure! read more

We couldn't have asked for a better caterer for our wedding reception. Communication throughout the planning process and leading up to the day was exceptional. James and his team hit it out of the park. His bar and menu suggestions were all spot on and our guests kept complimenting the food and drinks. Look no further for your catering needs, I highly recommend them! read more

No regrets when it came to choosing our caterer for our wedding. We had the most amazing experience with their team, and they answered all questions professionally and enthusiastically. They were willing to accommodate my over the top signature drink recipe without complaint, but the most spectacular part of their service was the thought behind the food. Everyone loved the dishes we chose and the bao bun and ice cream cookie sandwich bar was a huge hit. Definitely recommend low country catering, Jessica and her team are amazing and dedicated to their craft. read more

Highly recommend Jessica and the team at LowCountry. At my daughter's wedding, we all could not stop raving about the quality of the food. Staff were amazing and very professional. We highly recommend them and would definitely use them again the future. read more

LowCountry catered our wedding last weekend at The Fernbank Museum and my guest were blown away! People still have not stopped talking about how delicious the food was! The presentation was stunning, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and Mackenzie was my point person from start to finish and she was absolutely wonderful!!! She was very responsive the months leading up and she was there on the big day to ensure everything ran smoothly. My new husband and I were so busy talking to guest we barely got to eat and they packed us to-go boxes that we devoured in the honeymoon suite. This is one if the best choices you can make for your wedding day! You will not be sorry! I'll post pictures when I get them from my photographer! read more

Low Country BLEW US AWAY with their amazing service and food for our wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better catering company. They went above and beyond for us. The food was phenomenal and I cannot thank them enough for everything they provided for us and how seamless they made everything. Madison is an actual angel. We will be recommending this place to all of our friends. read more

Absolutely would recommend. They catered my husband's birthday party and the food was amazing, reasonably priced and provided everything we needed (plates, plastic ware, serving utensils, sauces, etc.). Bennett went above and beyond. We will definitely use them again!! read more

Low Country Catering is AMAZING!!! They catered a backyard bar-b-q for me this fall for about 50 people and a huge holiday party last weekend for more than 100. The team was superb, the food soooo delicious, every detail perfectly executed, and everybody had a blast at both parties. Highly recommend this company!! read more

Searched around Atlanta for a company to help us host an authentic oyster roast and the team at LowCountry Catering made it happen! What do you do when you want to feed a hungry bunch of Student Entrepreneurs? You call an entrepreneur BBQ master! At Georgia State University we have used Low Country BBQ for the last 3 years at our Annual Business Plan Competition. The students, faculty and alumni all rave about the food. Georgia State U. is one of the most ethnically diverse student populations in the U.S. and includes many vegetarians - but the Low Country menu satisfies everyone with their wide array of sides! Bennett Brown knows BBQ and he knows good service. Low Country can do anything from a rustic BBQ picnic to an elegant black tie dinner. But no matter what the event you get good food and attentive service. I mean seriously - would we use them 3 years running if it wasn't perfect? read more

We used LowCountry for our wedding at the Atlanta Botanical Garden and they were a delight to work with. Madison was a true professional, always calm and able to guide us towards a solution, never flustered or pushy, even when we had to do a last minute change for our set up because of rain the forecast. The food was wonderful and the staff the day of were wonderful. If we were doing another event in Atlanta LowCountry would be at the top of our list to work with again. read more

Words cannot express how incredible LowCountry Catering is! I'm not sure what's better, the amazing food or the amazing team! Both are truly one of a kind. My fiancé and I are using LowCountry for our wedding next year, and we just had our tasting with them. Madison has truly been THE best with answering my (countless) emails immediately, talking to me on the phone to explain our options, and working with us to stay within our budget. They are very busy with tastings this month, but they went out of their way to squeeze us in and schedule us on a day and time that my fiancé and I were both off work, which meant so much to us. We met with Madison and one of their waiters Zach, who served us the most delicious, huge, and perfect meal we've honestly ever had! We tried 4 hors d'oeuvres, 2 entrees, and 2 sides. We were absolutely stuffed, but couldn't stop eating because it was THAT great! We literally wouldn't have changed a single thing about anything we ate, and they even boxed up everything we didn't eat for us to take home!! The chef even came in to meet us and congratulate us, and asked how everything was! LowCountry has the sweetest personal touches that just makes you feel special, which is rare in the wedding planning world! I could (clearly) go on and on about how outstanding LowCountry Catering is and as a big review-reader myself, I wanted to share our experience! It really couldn't have been more perfect and we are SO excited for our wedding day, knowing that our wedding will have the very BEST food served by the very BEST team!! Thank you LowCountry Catering! :) read more

I had read several reviews on this vendor as well as the others which were on the preferred vendors list for the venue I had selected. This particular vendor had also been listed on some other venues preferred list and was one of the few which I felt would best feed our party. We have a varied group with varied tastes so allowing us the control to select our menu was quite helpful. I wanted something that would be satisfying without being too heavy. I liked that the dishes were appealing to a broad range of pallets because of their simplicity. While the seasoning and sauces complimented the dishes in such a way that it brought an exciting flair to the country cuisine! :-)' Morgan was such a pleasure to work with and was so quick to provide updated estimates when things did change. She helped to create a menu that gave us what we wanted on a budget we could afford. The staff on site were so pleasant, they brought us hot plates when we didn't come straight over and set down as expected. When the vegetarians came around, the told them just to be seated and fixed their plate, including a salad and found them. This was a great extra touch that I didn't expect even though it was only 4 out of 95 guests. It actually made them all feel so special and they loved the vegetarian lasagna. We selected a pork and chicken dish with roasted potatoes and green beans. They served a nice garden salad and rolls plus tea and lemonade to drink. Once the baker brought the cakes, we had the whole meal! There was plenty of food for everyone and some left over that they packaged for us to take home (well our designated person since we headed off to our honeymoon). There was also some beer and wine left and they even snuck in some of the barbeque sauces with our take home even though we didn't have barbeque for our dinner. Can't wait to get to try it! read more

LowCounty catered our company outing for several hundred people today. As a HUGE fan of BBQ let me start there and say the pork and chicken were both delicious. Two sauces were available, a traditional thicker sauce as well as a vinegar based sauce. I went back for seconds, then thirds. Sides were baked beans, potato salad, mac & cheese and some vegetarian options (not for this carnivore). Dessert choices consisted of lemon bars & huge chocolate chip cookies, but after all that awesome BBQ I had no room for sweets. Great service by the employees, I would be glad to use LowCountry again! read more

LowCounty provided a catered lunch that followed my company's annual meeting. LCBC provided barbecue, sides, desserts and all the fixings for several hundred people. As a huge fan of BBQ let me start by saying that the pulled pork, pork ribs, and barbecue chicken were all fantastic. I wish these guys had a retail / restaurant location. Two sauces were available, a traditional thick sweet / Kansas City type sauce as well as a vinegar based / Carolina style sauce. Sides were cole slaw, potato salad, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes (with gravy) and brunswick stew; the first two were good but the last three were pretty damn awesome. The mac & cheese, mashed potatoes & gravy and brunswick stew were of the quality one would expect at a family pot-luck / holiday / special occasion dinner. Dessert choices consisted of banana pudding & brownies - both fantastic! LCBC also provided spot on Southern Sweet Tea (and also the unsweetened variety). LCBC employees provided great service. I am already looking forward to next year's luncheon (which I am sure will again be catered by LowCountry!). read more

The food from here was amazing! We had BBQ type food catered to our office for lunch one day. Everything tasted great and was presented so nicely. What really stood out was the amazing service and hospitality from the two catering staff that traveled from Atlanta to Athens for us. Great place and would definitely recommend. read more

LowCountry Barbecue catered our engagement party, and they were absolutely fantastic. We had already loved their takeaway, so they were our first choice when we started planning the party. The buffet setup was perfect for the occasion - beautiful presentation, but nothing ostentatious. We had a pretty casual engagement party, but I know they can also do more elaborate set-ups for wedding receptions or corporate functions. The portions were massive, and we readily welcomed the leftovers. They offer a ton of options past traditional BBQ, especially for appetizers and sides. It's hard to pick a favorite, but I'm leaning towards dessert -- incredible peach cobbler, served bubbly and warm with vanilla ice cream. Yes, please. LBC were professional, courteous, and genuine throughout the entire process. Our friends and family raved about the food at our party, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a great event caterer. read more

As a vegetarian, I usually moan when I hear an event is being catered by a Barbeque place. Not so with LowCountry! Bennett Brown and crew put together over the top vegetarian options to go along with their beef, pork and chicken options. The last event I attended catered by Low Country included the most awesome grits I have ever tasted. According to the master of Barbeque at LowCountry, the grits were cooked for two hours. Shredded cheese, scallions, tomatoes (and bacon for the carnivores) were served as optional side items with the grits. I added cheese, scallions and tomatoes to mine -- and then hearing the advice of Mr. Bennett himself -- I dribbled a bit of barbeque sauce over the top ... Over the top! Yes, a perfect description. read more

Low Country has been catering our Annual Company BBQ Event for almost a decade, and we will continue to use them for years to come. They consistently provide us with an efficient planning process, friendly service, and a staff that is always professional and courteous to our guests on event day. Couldn't recommend this caterer more if you're looking for a reliable company to streamline your meal and rental needs bundled into one. Special Thanks to Bennett and Sarah for taking care of our team and making our event a success each year! PS. order the brownies, you won't regret it! ;) read more

I don't normally write reviews on yelp but being in the customer service business I wanted to write one for LCC on ever page that I could. We used Kaitlynne Grice. From the minute we contacted her she was on it! I have to say me and my daughter were a bit high maintenance and that did not bother her at all. She loved it and we joked about it. The tasting was remarkable especially after the tasting experience we had received prior to this one was awful, we all got sick. The food at LCC was just wonderful and the experience like no other I had had for a tasting. We were able to taste the exact food we wanted for the wedding not just a buffet. Kaitlynne was on top of everything, including when I forgot to add her to our final walk through at the wedding. OOOPS my bad, but she really wanted to be there so she made it work in her schedule. She want even upset and told me many times it was ok, it's a crazy time. Thank god she made it work even though our venue was an hour and 1/2 a way! lol At the walk through we went with several of her suggestions about the look and feel my daughter wanted. I was actually feeling like my daughter was a bridezilla but again Kaitlynne rolled with it as if she has had to deal with difficult people all the time. She kept saying it's her wedding and her day and we want to make it perfect. She came up with the suggestion that made all the difference to my daughter and we were so thrilled. All our vendors loved working with her and have suggested her to other brides. I recommended her and LCC to my daughters MOH who is getting married in September and they too fell in love with Kaitlynne and her team and LCC. Now I have another friend getting married in June in 2018 and I again reccomended Kaitlynne and her team. Weddings can be stressful so it is very important to have team players and LCC and all the team members there were it for us! I could not be more pleased with them! The day of was a fantastic day with absolutely no worries that Kaitlynn's team would deliver perfection and work with the rest of the vendors for a flawless day. It was perfect, I mean truly a fairy tale. I love all the compliments from the guest about how pretty the shooters were as well as how delicious everything was. Still after 3 months I'm still getting compliments! Thank you Kaitlynne, LCC and the whole crew for making our day one to remember! Karyn Lisk and the new Mrs. Shelby Peet! read more

Low Country is good, very good. It's absolutely best the same day it's out of their delicious smoking units. That wonderful smoky flavor dissipates quickly as I've recently discovered. I picked up some pulled pork on Saturday, the day before Easter. The smell was amazing as I entered their catering warehouse in Smyrna. The meal it was intended for on Sunday was mildly smoky, and the day after.. Well, a very VERY light smoky flavor left on the unused aluminum containers remained. I've had such better BBQ in the Atlanta area, but Low Country prices are very reasonable. It's so very good the day of release, but loses steam very quickly as a day or so passes. read more

Low Country Barbecue is a top notch catering company! We hosted a fundraiser in our county which was catered by Low Country Barbecue. They met all of our expectations and more. The food was great. They prepared a pig for a "Pig Picken" which was amazing. Our guests were able to pull the pork right off of the pig and make their own sliders. The boiled corn is the best I've ever had. It's made in a huge cooker with the shucks pulled back and dipped in butter. We also served their BBQ pork and chicken. It was the best I've ever eaten! The staff at Low Country is very professional and polite. I highly recommend Low Country for any of your catering needs! Bennett Brown, You rock! read more

If i could give it no stars I would. Disgusting! Unfortunately we are Grand Princess Detainees at Dobbins and that is what they are serving us. Sometimes we aren't sure what it is they are serving us. Probably to save money they send salads for lunch. Salads are a promise that food is coming, not a meal. We end of throwing is away, why not send sandwiches. 2 out of 3 meals a day is thrown in the trash! From the movie Uncle Buck, I would say "they are cooking up trash". read more

Wonderful! Low Country Catering just provided the most spectacular, delicious food at our daughter's wedding. Jessica and Bennett made the whole process easy and the wedding guests all raved about how delicious everything tasted! Job well done and thank you! read more

Could not have been happier with the service I got from these guys. Perry, who took care of my order, was professional, prompt and super nice. And the day of our party, they delivered just what they said they would, even in the pouring rain. Two servers, really nice, low-key, but kept everything moving, and the food was excellent (pork and chicken sliders, shrimp, mixed sausages, spinach dip, cheese tray, mixed veggies). Highly recommend, these guys are good! read more

The manager of this company insists that 12 VERY small pieces of chicken divided among 18 people along with a portion of pulled pork and a potion of macaroni and cheese is worth 50 dollars a plate. Nothing else... 50 DOLLARS A PLATE!!!!! The worst value for the money I have ever seen!!!! read more

Low Country helped us throw an incredible wedding! When choosing what type of food we wanted for our wedding we knew we wanted it to be fun and good. Low country hit both targets. They were easy to work with and set up a menu and rentals for tables, linens, etc. they really work with you to ensure that you are getting exactly what you want and staying within your budget. Prior to the wedding, Lisa, the event coordinator, met with me at the venue to make sure that we got exactly what we needed day of. During the reception our guests were raving about the delicious food. We had pulled pork, brisket, and tons of sides. People really loved the Mac and cheese and collards. I thought the potato salad and coleslaw were also top notch. The meat was tender and the sauces were outstanding! The staff from Low Country was very professional. They set up all tables to our specifications, bussed and cleared tables as needed, all with a smile on their face. All in all, this was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! read more

As the holidays are here! I am thinking of long-time friends and the nice 50th anniversary celebration we had last May. Low Country did a wonderful job catering. It was a delicious great afternoon. Tons of thanks to Theresa Allen for holding our hand and helping us put together a delicious menu. From start to finish it has been a pleasure working with Sarah Goodpaster and her team for our company's annual holiday party. This was our first time hosting an event at this particular venue and partnering with LowCountry made it very easy. Sarah listened to our initial needs and put together an amazing menu and decor for our event. Sarah was very patient, thorough, and her follow up was outstanding. Due to traffic my team was late arriving to the event; however, when we walked in to the venue everything had been set up and the team was extremely welcoming to us. The event team was very helpful and professional. The food was fantastic! Everything was delicious and our employees raves about the food the entire night.
