I've been meaning to write this review for quite some time now, and shame on me for not doing it…read moresooner. I was the most miserable person-literally. I had just about every bad ache a human being could possibly have: lower back pain, neck pain, and numbness and tingling in my hands, feet, and legs. I couldn't get a good night's sleep because of the constant discomfort. I went to see practically every specialist my insurance offered, only to be told it was "normal" because I was getting older (I was only 45 at the peak of my pain!). I felt like a guinea pig going through spinal taps (which are super nasty if you've never had one), endless blood tests, and studies, but nothing worked. The only thing I hadn't tried was voodoo. LOL One day while scrolling, my algorithm started suggesting chiropractors and alternative treatments. That's when I found LPI. I felt like the guy in the video was talking directly to me and describing everything that was going wrong with my body. Without hesitating, I booked a free consultation. That turned out to be one of the most important decisions of my life. When I showed up for my appointment, Wendy greeted me. There are NOT enough positive things I can say about her. She isn't just super nice-you can tell she was born to do this. She's passionate, incredibly knowledgeable, and never rushes you out the door to get to the next appointment. She treats you like a real person, not just a slot on a schedule. Honestly, she's a miracle worker. When she asked what my goal was, I told her, and she promised to do everything she could to get me there-and she delivered! Thanks to her, I can now take long drives without my legs going numb, play with my kids, play golf, go on walks with my wife, and enjoy downtime together. These might sound like basic everyday activities to most people, but I couldn't do any of them before. To me, being able to do these things is priceless. If your story is anything like mine, don't hesitate to go. Wendy and the team at LPI will have you feeling like a million bucks. Wendy, you are the GOAT!

I highly recommend the Longevity Performance Institute and Dr. Benjamin Yu. From the very…read morebeginning, Dr. Yu took the time to understand my injury history and created a customized program specifically tailored to my needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. During the program, I unfortunately sustained another injury affecting my neck, shoulder, and back. Instead of simply pausing my progress, Dr. Yu quickly pivoted and developed a new plan that worked around my limitations while helping me recover safely. His depth of knowledge of the human body is truly remarkable. Thanks to his expertise and personalized approach, I'm now able to work out again and even get back to hiking--activities I wasn't sure I'd be able to enjoy after my injuries. That progress has been incredibly meaningful to me. Dr. Yu is like a mad scientist--in the best possible way. He's completely devoted to his craft, constantly analyzing, adapting, and finding the most effective approach for each individual. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping his clients heal, move better, and perform at their best. If you're looking for someone who combines scientific expertise with personalized care and delivers real results, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Benjamin Yu and the Longevity Performance Institute.

After discovering I had a certain condition, Wendy Nguyen, PA-C, was very knowledgeable regarding my condition and gave me any recommendations for my workplace. They have a small and narrow lot that's always crowded no matter that time of day. It gets frustrating because of the wait times. I'm on time for my appointment, but I don't get seen until more than 40 minutes later. The waiting room is very unusually large. They have one restroom for patients to use in the waiting room, and another one inside. They are only open on the weekdays. I am very selective when it comes to healthcare providers and I trust Wendy.

If you are being treated then it's all good. But the moment you need to talk through some concerns or need paperwork filled out, you are just an inconvenience. We were treated like crap and all the relationship building got tossed out the window because you just want to make money. These damn doctors forgot that we have to get by in this world too and I guess when you make six figures, it easy to forget where you came from. We had to talk to him about some important paperwork and he did not care enough to hear us out. Just remember this Dr. Zhao, your choices have consequences.

When you have a hammer, all you see are nails to be hammered down. Dr. Zhao not only treats me as a pin cushion and justifies every aspect of pain that I have with injections and medicine that don't really help, he gets annoyed when you try to see if there are other options. Perhaps he is that way because he knows nothing else and treats everyone as if they all have the same condition. I ended up going to a different hospital affiliate and they immediately said that my condition, which is severe disc degeration, needed a different type of procedure that actually targets the source of the pain. That procedure at the other hospital immensely helped my pain, and this bothered me because I spent so much time putting my faith in Dr. Zhao who just kept doing the same stuff over and over and just wants me to magically get better. All in all, he appears to be very tunnel visioned when treating patients, and I think he thinks everything can be solved with an injection rather than actually figuring out the root cause.

This has caused pain in my right upper leg. I have suffered for 17 months because of doctors lacking in knowledge and compassion. No one knows the amount of pain you experience with nerve pain until you have experienced it. Dr. Minehart recommendation was an upidural in my lower back. I had some ray of hope, but this ended quickly. He told me that he was on network with Blue Shield PPO. I never heard back from his office. My husband and I made 8 phone calls trying to figure out what the problem was. My husband and I literally drove to his office trying to get an answer. In the meantime, I get a letter from Blue Shield stating the shot was denied because it wasn't nedically necessary. This is because the employee who filled out the request didn't know what she was doing. She didn't put in the appropriate information. My husband and I spoke to the office mgr, Mario. He promised us an answer. He never called us back. BTW: The doctor is not in network. He didn't even know if he was in network. We asked Mario for a cash price. We never received an answer. I guess they dont care about patients. One time I called, the girl at the front desk told me that the doctor sees 40 patients a day. That's another lie. No doctor sees that many patients. This doctor's office is the worst. I can't believe they stay open. Now, here's the cherry on the cake. We get a bill for $1,570.00. All we had was an office visit. When we asked what the price was for an office visit, the doctor said $500.00. The doctor said, "Oh, something is very wrong here." No kidding!! My opinion is to stay far away from this doctor and office. They lie, don't know what they are doing, and never return calls even when they promise to return a call. Horrible customer service.
