After only several visits to her,…read moreduring which she used a "shockwave therapy" treatment on my very injured wrists and hands, I had significant improvements. This is after almost no improvements from 7 months of physical therapy at a different medical center and being told by a specialist I would never be able to move my thumb normally again. I was overjoyed by the progress after seeing Hiromi for only a few visits. I would estimate I had an 80 percent improvement from two visits with her versus approximately a 5 percent improvement of twice weekly physical therapy, cortisone shots, doctor's visits, etc. for many months elsewhere. Hiromi is precise, very informed, and extremely talented. The studio itself is spacious and spotless, and includes all types of Pilates equipment. I can't recommend Hiromi highly enough. The physical therapists are OK, but their billing system is horrible. I need all medical bills by…read moremail for my accountant, because we itemize Schedule A deductions. I mentioned this and my very first appointment, and the receptionist said I would receive bills by mail. After a lot of wasted time, I found out much later that the the woman at the front desk does not actually handle bills, their national billing office does. And that's the problem. The policy of their national billing office is to send notice that you have a bill (but not the actual bill) via a text message, to save the company money. But the text contains a very suspicious link where you have to go in and enter all of your personal information, before you even see or pay the bill. I understand they're trying to save 75 cents by never mailing bills, but when a patient ask for bills by mail, the company should send the bill by mail. Will never use Select Physical Therapy again, because of their lousy billing practices.

Agreed with other reviews,…read morethis session is like no other; it's multi-disciplinary- part therapy, part Reiki (?) and reflexology and sports massage. It's painful at times, for sure but cathartic in my case. From one session, she was able to give me a sense of clarity, both mental and muscular. I started the session with my left side much tighter than my right, evidenced by my left leg about half an inch shorter. By the end of the session, she worked it out so that they were even. I hope to come back yearly to see her. She's a national treasure!
