the food was great the ambiance was awesome the service was fantastic I truly recommend this place over chipotle any day any time if you haven't been there you must go try them immediately read more

The way it works is you select bowl or tortilla and then go onto select the type rice; brown or white, type of protein; chicken or beef, followed by bean type and the topping such as corn, tomato's, pickled onions. Then there is the type of sauce or sour cream. There are a lot of decisions for a lunch. I was full afterwards and would return. read more

QDOBA Mexican Eats - Chicken Queso Bowl - Mexican Near Me - Wellesley, Massachusetts

I want to start by saying I genuinely love Qdoba -- the food, the customization, the value. I have been a loyal customer for years. Which makes what happened at this location all the more infuriating and heartbreaking. We walked in 30 minutes before closing -- which, last I checked, means the restaurant is **open**. Now, I will be the first to admit that coming in 10 to 15 minutes before closing is not ideal, and I genuinely respect the people who work in food service. That is why I was thoughtful about my order -- I kept it simple and ordered a bowl specifically so it would be quick and easy for them to make. I was trying to be considerate. I was not there to make anyone's night harder. The moment we stepped through the door, both employees on the line loudly announced their disbelief that we had the audacity to show up. Not under their breath. Out loud. To our faces. It went downhill from there. They were slamming and throwing things around behind the counter, cursing openly, and making it crystal clear that we were an inconvenience they had zero interest in tolerating. What made this experience truly disturbing was witnessing the cashier -- who appeared to also be the manager on duty -- behave in a physically aggressive and violent manner. This was not just rudeness or a bad attitude. Watching someone in a position of authority throwing objects and acting with that level of hostility made me feel genuinely unsafe. If this is how they treat customers in plain view, I shudder to think what goes on otherwise. I should not have to fear for my physical safety while ordering a burrito bowl. I have never in my life been made to feel so unwelcome at a place I genuinely love. This wasn't a bad day or a passive eye-roll. This was aggressive, disrespectful, and frankly unacceptable behavior that should result in serious disciplinary action. To Qdoba corporate: you have customers who want to love your brand. Don't let two employees who clearly didn't want to be there destroy it. I will not be returning to this location, and I strongly urge you to review whatever happened that night. No one deserves to be treated like that. Ever. read more

It's a Qdoba, don't overthink it. I stopped by here after work with my girlfriend for dinner. It was my first time trying Qdoba. I ordered a burrito with white rice, pinto beans, chicken, pico de gallo, guacamole, and cheese. We got chips with guacamole and queso on the side. I will say, while extremely cost effective (cheaper than Chipotle), the burrito itself was a bit underwhelming in flavor. Most of my flavor came from the cholula hot sauce I added. The chips and guac were good, but the queso was just okay. I do like how the sides were free, and the guac was made from real avocados and hand smashed. I would come here again, but would maybe try a bowl with more veggies and steak for flavor. read more

It's a Qdoba, don't overthink it. The food was good, I got a hearty amount of food in my bowl as did my girlfriend. It was her first time and she liked it! The employees were quiet but got their jobs done. It hit the spot after a long day of work. My only concern is that it could stand to be a little cleaner, I noticed the floor was kind of dirty but the area where food was prepared was clean and organized, so not a huge deal. read more

Food was good but portions are super small. Ordered burrito bowl and workers are very stingy. Back to Chipotle it is. Can't be paying full price for half portions in this economy. read more

Food is always Good this place is always clean and brightly lit... one thing, though even though there were only literally three people in the entire restaurant and no one behind me the person making the burritos seemed be in a giant rush and kept asking me. What do you want? What do you want? I don't know if he was rude, Kurt ,or it was just me. Operator note the cashier was super pleasant. read more

Food tasted delicious but there were only about 4 small pieces of chicken in my bowl. Really stingy with chicken and the manager or guy at the counter was super grumpy. this used to be my go to place for mexican food- it's better than chipotle and used to be more generous. now i will re think qdoba.l at this location. read more

I haven't been in a Qdoba in 16 years and after this interaction I can safely say I won't be back. The store was empty & the two men serving food were two of the rudest people I've ever encountered. They were so shockingly rude I actually short circuited for a second as it was so jarring. The food (with the exception of the chips) was trash. The worst salsa and dried out tortillas. Meh. In reading other reviews it seems rudeness is a staple and not a unique experience. 0 out of 10 do not recommend. read more

I don't write reviews but I had to for this one. It's sad cause the first one is a bad one. The food and atmosphere is good. No complains. BUT this one worker which I think is the manger is just absolutely rude and I don't engage with any type of rudeness but I had to after experiencing this 3 times. I may not know all the ingredients name on top of my name as I don't go often. I asked him what certain ingredients are then always responses in rudely by responding like it's my fault not knowing what each ingredient are and tastes. I gave HIM multiple chances which seems more he would only do that to younger people and I bet he doesn't have the guts to act the same way towards older adults. I've been working in customer service for a while and it's just not acceptable from my point a view as a same person in the industry. Other workers are great and to be honest, they might be less experienced but at least they try to brighten up and welcome other customers. Quite frankly, they're better than him who seems like he thinks he's above everyone else just because he has more experience maybe. Sad to say this but wanted others to be aware so they don't have face the same experience because all I wanted was to have a happy lunch. read more

Good food, but the employee who served up was in foul mood that reflected his service. It seemed he was mad at his co-worker; regardless he presented an unwelcoming demeanor. No biggie, just won't go back to that location. read more

We went yesterday for lunch as a family. I started to order and the server ignored me twice and asked my husband to order first. My husband pointed me to order first and as I again tried but he said, "no, you first" to my husband. We were very confused and taken aback so my husband ordered first and he proceeded to get our orders and shook his head. He was very rude and condescending. We will never go there again. We are never going again. We did not make a scene because of our children but not acceptable. read more

We had a big order and they were great! Everything was perfect and super filled up!! It was ready before the time I picked! Thank you!!

Of course it's probably a quick meal you just need to "pick up" instead of something you plan out for dinner... but I'm continually happy with this Q'doba! I had lunch there today, and the quality of the food and seasoning is what's making me write this. The shrimp in the burrito bowl has good (mild) spice with a bright lime finish. The brown rice smartly has more than just bland rice--you can see and taste what I think might be a hint of cumin and paprika--actual substance behind what is usually just the canvas for your dinner. The cilantro and guacamole were fresh and bright green. And I can't leave out the queso---get a bag of chips and this deliciously addictive liquid gold! It has chopped peppers, tomato, and spices, and the chips themselves are thin, crispy, and perfectly salty. I'm pleasantly surprised, and I've had a great meal (not just your teenager's bowl of empty calories) every time. read more

TLDR: it's a qdoba, don't over think it Came on a Saturday night. Food was good. Service was quick. If you like qdoba you'll like this place. read more

The customer service here is an absolute JOKE! Literally EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Me and my family eat here, we get treated like absolute garbage. I don't know why this team of employees feels the need to be rude to us for absolutely no reason, every single time without fail. The manager is relatively nice (mostly because he recognizes us from coming in for a long time,) But the other employees treat us like we disrespect them for coming into their jobs and having them serve us. I have no other reason for them treating us so badly. It's crazy. I'm shocked every time, idk. Other then that, the food is good. We will keep coming back for Qudoba's food! Wished there was another one in the area to go to so we don't have to put up with the rudeness, but there isn't. Oh well! read more

Food was good. Workers were so rude. I am not one to write reviews but these workers gave me rolled eyes, sighed in my face, and laughed in my face at me as I walked out. Never going back read more

I really dislike giving bad reviews but...... I pick up lunch a couple times a week from here and the inside is absolutely DISGUSTING! Walking thru the door that is so filthy and seeing the garbage overflowing is concerning. Such a bummer because the food is so yummy. Hopefully the manager can take the time and windex the entrance daily. read more

Was pretty disappointed. First time trying Qdoba and it was probably the last. We got two bowls and then also tried the new Mac n queso. The bowls were both not full and the chicken was dry, and overall they weren't special. The Mac n queso... the pasta was clearly old and dried out and there was barely any queso. Chips were good but guac was nothing special. Staff was super kind, there was plenty of seating and parking but the place was kind of dirty and overall just not the best experience. read more

Normally enjoy Qdoba food , but this place seems to be dealing with an infestation of stuff some sort. Small flies absolutely everywhere , flying near the food your trying to eat , in the bathroom , on walls. I would recommend management shut down the place for a day or 2 and fumigate. read more

The best fast food burritos ever in Wellesley. Go try it if you have a craving for queso.

This place closes at 10pm, but at 9pm the chairs were already placed on top of the tables, which confused us for a bit. But there was a short line at the counter, so we entered. Service was personalized - when your order is requested, you can follow along the counter with your server to request exactly what you want included in your dish, and how much. I got the vegetarian mango salad taco bowl for $7.29 ($7.80 after tax) with both mild salsas and ended up with a filling salad I could by no means finish! At the end of the night, while they tried to collect the metal plates from our party, they not only took our trash as well, but I was offered a plastic bag to go with my covered leftovers. Nice! If you plan to frequent this chain, they have a card that you may register online and collect points towards a future free entree. 3.5 stars for a satisfying basic meal with pleasant service read more

Employees were unfriendly, food is mid (it doesnt taste fresh). Really overpriced for what it is.

Recently, the food has been really sub par. I went in for a quesadilla yesterday and today and they were awful both times. How hard is it to make a cheese quesadilla??? read more

Unsafe and rude! We ordered a curbside pickup and paid by credit card online including providing automobile details. We called upon arrival and they did not pick up, even though it was not busy at all. We called 2 times over 10 minutes and nothing. Called a third time and their connection was terrible but I had full bars. They hung up on us. Called again a fourth and same problem but we gave them our details and yes, they heard us. They hung up on us in the middle of the conversation but obviously heard our information because they immediately cane out to the car. They didn't try to talk to us to figure out any other details. We positioned the car so that the trunk was facing the door of the store - like 6 feet away. A woman comes out and dumps the food in the trunk without bothering to close it. We made it so easy for them. We have tried to tip extra during these hard times and even thought about how we could safely add to our original tip when someone recently provided amazing food delivery service. We are just trying to get done food while remaining safe, and supporting local jobs in these hard times. We did everything we could to keep everyone safe. By not closing the trunk we had to get out on a busy street - not what we really had in mind as Covid-19 rises in Massachusetts. This is the worst experience I've ever had at a fast food restaurant in my entire life. I know restaurants and workers are suffering. I'm literally looking for an excuse to give hard working people on the front lines a huge tip. Like recently we've been giving 35% to help people out even for quick curbside pickups. But Qdoba - what is wrong with you? You're biting the hand that is feeding you. We literally asked you to close the trunk - it's kind of obvious. But sadly as we were asking you hung up on us. What's wrong with your phones? You had very few customers and we were literally right outside. I don't imagine ever going back to a restaurant that has such contempt for the well-being of its customers. We want our restaurants to make it through Covid and our money and tips talk much louder than mere sentiment, but Qdoba seems like it wants to die. read more

Guess it wasn't just me! Read the reviews and beware, the staff are rude for no reason at this one Qdoba. Weird.

Qdoba used to be my least favorite of the 3 big burrito chains here. Chipotle and Moe's, being the other 2. Somehow, Qdoba has catapulted into 1st place for me. PROS: Great menu options! Standard burritos and bowls, but they also have a variety of Tacos that are great! I happen to also love that they carry Chalulua hot sauce! That's key for me. Ingredients are fresh and the Guac is super good. Qdoba beats out Moe's for ingredients by a landslide. It has the edge on Chipotle with ingredients, but here's where they blow away Chipotle: 1. Bottled soda! Mexican coke! Way better than fountain drinks. 2. Chalula hot sauce. Chipotle offers Tabasco. Come on. Tabasco is terrible for burritos 3. Qdoba is clean and bright. Chipotle restaurants all feel dark and dank. Bonus: I got chips at Chipotle, I swear they were made of salt. It was the grossest thing ever! Too much salt, I could not eat them. Qboda has better chips. I didn't add this above, because I'm not sure if I got a bad batch at Chipotle, or maybe it was the location. CONS: None that I can think of. OVERALL: I really happen to love Qdoba now. The burritos and tacos are stellar. The choice of bottled soda is huge for me, since I don't like the fountain stuff. The ingredients are fresh. You can't go wrong here. read more

One member of the staff was very disrespectful when I asked if they could not add a topping and then they added it anyway I asked if he could remake it and he argued with me and then told me to "stop" talking to him and that is how it was made. So I told him not worry about making the food and I walked out. If customer service is what you are looking for, don't come here. They also told my friends they couldn't eat in the dining room because they closed in 30 minutes. I would be disappointed if I owned this location and employed individuals who treated their customer's this way. read more

There are actually a couple of Mexican chains nearby: Qdoba, Chipotle, and Boloco. Qdoba in Wellesley is just a place that you can find a passable burrito, quickly. The things I personally want to remember when coming here: *Get my burrito to go. There are too many Woo Dudes in here for my dining pleasure. *Don't order anything that sounds weird, gimmicky, or otherwise fused between food cultures. This is not a fusion restaurant, and it will be unfortunate for my taste buds. read more

The food is alright, but there is an employee there that is a complete asshole to younger people (15ish) you can expect rude comments from him and bad service; there was no line and he made a burrito for me in like 15 seconds with no care. I bet if they set up a camera here (Wellesley linden) at this location he would act much differently. read more

Ewwww.. that's all I have to say for this location.. probably the nastiest food I've ever tasted! Literally was the only one there and ordered curbside. It was almost like the food was made first thing that morning and just sat there all day. Everything was ice cold and as soon as you tried to pick up the tacos it crumbled from being so old and soggy. The chips were stale as well. Seriously better off not eating anything then coming to this location. Also, had to call like 10 times.. kept getting hung up on. Someone was clearly answering and then hanging up. read more

Umph. Should have turned around and left. NOT covid safe. NOT good food. They have the tables to eat right up next to the line to order food so if there is a wait you have to expose yourself to those eating their food - no masks. And the line to order is crunched right up together. To top it all off the burrito was not good and there was this weird unidentifiable crunchy bit in there. #should have known better. read more

Delicious fajitas bowls family style servings !! Loved the chicken, rice, black beans, queso , grilled peppers and onions! Delicious!

Really disappointed with the attitude of the staff! The food is not that great either.... The servers were impatient and curt at the request of an allergy and simple requests that we made for our burrito bowl. I enjoy it very yummy. I get chicken white rice lettuce and cheese and I never got issues with the food.

Went in again tonight to give them another shot. Walked in at 10:30pm (30 minutes before closing), right after two cars of people were served, to find one of the girls from last week putting food up again. She clearly recognized me since she fixed me with her death glare the moment I walked in-How DARE I expect food when they're open, right? Fuck, me. Anyway, the girl was glaring daggers but the guy who helped me was nice enough. However the lettuce was yellow and brown (ew) and the serving of meat was smaller than usual. I got back home to eat and honestly each bite just tastes like mush since there's no lettuce and I can't seem to find where he hid the chicken. Disappointing-what's up with y'all this month? You took a huge nosedive in food and service quality. Waste of money. read more

I guess you get what you pay for here. I got a chicken quesadilla the guy who made it was friendly but basically threw it together. Took some time in line as well. Once I pay and get my cup I had to wait in another line for the drink machine with every possible flavor. The place mildly clean but one of the employees looked to be organizing equipment for a catering event which took up Four tables and when it got busy he jumped on the register. The food was ok but I had a stomachache after so probably not worth it. Just needed a late lunch on my way back to the city from a client. Plenty of parking and quick but forgettable, and I hope I do forget it. read more
