First time trying Qdoba. Only came because my daughter wanted this for dinner. Approximately 25 minutes to get here and would I say it was worth it, yes. I was actually pleasantly surprised at the food. Ordered our meal for pickup via their website. Easy to place the order online. My only complaint is the order ready for pickup notification or lack there of. The receipt that I received via email stated that I'd get a text however none came. The receipt also stated that if you don't get a text to call the store however I just opted to go inside to pickup. Upon arrival I was greeted by friendly staff and asked if I had an order pickup. I replied yes and she asked my name and handed me my order. Easy peasy! When we got home we found that our order was correct and food was actually delicious! Would I go back? Heck yes! For the lunch we were looking to order through door-dash. I opened the app and found that QDOBA allows order through door-dash so we decided to order from QDOBA. After browsing through the menu we ordered Citrus Lime Chicken Salad, Guacamole and Chicken Protein Bowl. Through doordash we got the order in 30 minutes. I'm embarrassed to admit this but I love this place so much... it's been my weekly treat myself meal for over a month now and I'm 1000% sure the manager knows me at this point. Shout out to the wonderful manager whose name I don't know but you're always super nice when I go in! Plus I don't feel the judgment (even tho there should be some judgement how much I go here! ) My go to absolute favorite meal is their steak bowl. What I love most about this place is how much you get FOR FREE! Want extra rice? Free. Want extra beans? Free (though not for me I don't like beans). Want queso on your item? Free. Want guacamole on your item? Free. Extra fajita veggies? Free! I think you get it, but honestly don't get me wrong I love me some chipotle and Moes, but I don't love them as much as I love Qdoba. They have such a variety of menu to choose from I know that if I ever venture out of my bubble of comfort food, I'd still find something I'd like. If you don't know about it, download the app and sign up for the rewards program. It's a tiered program that the more you visit the more points you earn. I'm embarrassed to admit but in two months I've made it to tier 3.. and I'm not far from making it to tier 4. Tier 4 has a monthly mystery perk! So I'm excited to see what it is. The app has random offers so keep your notifications on! I've gotten free chips & guac, free delivery, etc. and I've only had the app for two months. More than I've gotten from chipotle and I've had their app for over a year now! This location has some pretty friendly crew members, but I have to say I like the crew in the afternoons a little more than the crew I've had at night. This was my first time ordering something at QDOBA and it may be my last. As i approached the front door, I saw one of the workers jumping and goofing around. I politely told them the name of my mobile order and also showed them my phone so they can see the order number. Once I received my order and drove back home (25 min), I opened the bag just to notice that they gave me someone else's order. I called the store manager and she just told me to drive back to pick up the order again. They were unable to place a delivery order for me due to a "policy" that they never showed me. There was no empathy in the managers voice, only a tone of annoyance since the moment they picked up the phone. She also didn't mention a refund, I was the one that had to bring it up. Overall, horrible experience and customer service from the store manager. Just go to Chipotle instead, save the trip(s). read more

I used to visit this place all the time about 4 years back when I went to USF and it was always pretty good. But I've went back a couple of times over the last few months and it's been a terrible experience every time it's like the food gets worst the queso was okay but not that great. Was at this location this past week. I hadn't eaten at a Qdoba in years. Used to go with college friends all the time. I noticed they didn't have nachos on the menu. That's what I used to get when I was a regular. That was at a location in MD. This location is decent. Service was good. I got a burrito and was satisfied. I like the steak. I always enjoy the queso. I originally was upset about a mismatch between an order placed for pickup at 11:15 AM and a store that is not open until 3PM on Sundays and was frustrated by that situation. But after closer review, and a thoughtful response from the manager of this location, we sent the order to the wrong store. Out of all of the quick Mexican chain restaurants out there (Moe's, Tijuana Flats, Chipotle, etc.), I think Qdoba totally beats them in the flavor department. While they don't have a fancy salsa or hot sauce bar, they don't need it because the food is flavorful on its own. The burrito bowl is perfect for lunch, and I like that they have the option for brown rice. I never understand why when I come, there's never anyone in here. Last month the food was great chicken was cooked to perfection nice and juicy with a beautiful charr , the rice was cooked also to perfection and the guacamole was flavorful bright green where you can taste the onions the salt and cilantro , so I went to place my order as usual and I noticed the rice was mushy like mash potatoe the guacamole did not taste anywhere near nor looked the way it did in the past. I walked in when it was dead, and the girl at the counter was pretty well-aware, which I appreciate. I elected for a cheese quesadilla, since that seems safe. However, all I was allowed to get was cheese and salsa! Now, I'm not a girl that is too picky, but I do like other chains that give me options to put into my food, like lettuce, black olives, fresh lime, something. Additionally, the girl overstuffed the quesadilla and it fell apart, and her coworker/supervisor was berating her in front of me. And why couldn't I have chips for free? Stopped in on the way home from a doctor visit at Moffitt Cancer Center,. In need of a little comfort food. Also we wanted something different than we were used to. And they were on the way out to the interstate and our route home to Ocala. There was plenty of parking, the location was ideal for travelers headed to the interstate. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was helpful and cheerful. We really enjoyed our visit and our food. Three of us are vegetarian and... They have a beyond meat vegetarian option. Our food was delicious, tasty, warm, where it was supposed to be warm, hot, where it was supposed to be hot, and cold, where it was supposed to be cold. All in all, we had a delightful time and will definitely be back the next time we have to go to Tampa. Thanks guys for helping make what could have been a miserable day more bearable. read more

This location is super spacious inside. We came to the restaurant during lunch hour on a Friday and didn't have to wait in line. Prices are affordable, they had 3 tacos for $9. We stopped here after a day at Busch Gardens. It was just what we needed after a carb filled breakfast and greasy amusement park food. My husband had a bowl with plenty of rice. beans, steak and greens. I tried 3 of the knock out tacos. Plenty of flavor! They have good chips and queso, too. I love Qdobe - I'm not ashamed of it. It's my favorite assembly-line tex-mex joint, although Chipotle tickles different taste buds and is a close second. But yeah, better than the others. I always get the same thing - chicken nachos with regular queso (they have different kinds now) salsa roja (i.e. the hot red sauce), sour cream, and guacamole. This store was near closing when I visited, but everything was prompt and efficient. Chips were way too salty in my to-go order, however, which is unusual. Coke remix machine for soft drinks. Clean restrooms. Reasonable pricing akin to similar restaurants. Same sterile, cold ambiance all the other Qdobes have, which I wish they'd change, but probably easy to clean. This location is sort of a "college joint" on the periphery of USF, so it was a young crowd when I visited, as compared to the location in suburban Brandon that I visited last trip down. You got that right, I always try to get some Qdobe on my trips since there are none near me anymore. Bottom-line, go check it out - there's a joint like this for everybody. read more

Qdoba is what I consider a not fast-fast food restaurant. You walk up to a counter, order, and walk down a line as they build your foot item. The food is fairly good, ingredients taste fresh. There is a nice selection of different items, you are not limited to a taco, burrito, or quesadilla. Everything is made to order, which means even the picky eaters can make sure that they get what they want. My big complaint with Qdoba is the price. They are a little higher on the price side. Normally I order their two for $7 deal, as it offers the best bang for your buck. A burrito can cost upwards of $8. Service is good, employees were friendly and food was prepared fairly fast. My second complaint is that the store is parked on an odd corner of a very busy road. Expect problems getting in and out, especially if its rush hour. I would recommend Qdoba, but again, keep in mind the prices of the meals. read more

Wow perfect portions, not too much and not to little but just right. I truly hate wasting and when buying Mexican food you can really save some for later without it tasting nasty but here I got the right amount of rice and everything else that cones in my taco bowl where I was about to eat everything. Menu was a little hard for me to understand so I asked a staff member how does the ordering process work and she gladly help and selected the perfect meal. My expectations were definitely higher than reality with this experience. The two staff members working at the time were not very friendly; the girl in the front had a hard time putting her phone down the whole time we were there. Personally, I think that is a bit unprofessional. The food was a bit old tasting, as if had been sitting out for a while, however, this could have just been because it was the end of the day. There are definitely better Mexican restaurants in the area. I bought the Taco Salad and wasn't that impressed. The shell wasn't too crunchy and the toppings weren't that fresh. Even though Qdoba has a queso sauce, the flavors and freshness do not compare with some of the other Mexican restaurants in the area. It felt like something was missing. The portions on the Craft 2 meal were smaller than expected. I will say that the mango salsa and the cilantro lime dressing on the Mango Salad were delicious.
